I came here on a Thursday dinner with some friends and we got seated immediately. Service was normal and nothing out of the ordinary; however it did take a while to order our food. For appetizers, my friends and I shared the poke guacamole chips, which was spectacular. There were plenty of chips, guac and poke for all four of us. The chips were crunchy and went well with the soft fish and creamy guacamole. This appetizer really got us excited for our main dishes. For my main dish, I got the Hawaiian sea salt salmon with a side of broccolini and a side of kimchi fried rice. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tasted fresh, and was very delicious. The kimchi fried rice was alright, as it was a bit cold and didn't really taste like kimchi. The broccolini was yummy, had a good texture, and went well with the salmon. I highly recommend having it as side. The price for this main dish is quite high at $28 USD, so go for it if you're comfortable spending that much. The fish had a horrible odor I had to mask the smell with lots of lemon which didn't help. My boyfriend and I love pacific catch and we joke that anytime one of us is feeling something healthy we end up here. My go to is the Japanese wasabi ahi bowl. It has salad, rice, ginger, seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, sprouts, with a soy vinaigrette. The poke is fresh and already seasoned and while I usually can't finish a regular size, I always get one so I can eat some later. My boyfriends go to is the fresh catch salmon with chimichurri and his sides vary between mashed potatoes, kimchi fried rice, and thai brussels. The mashed potatoes are creamy, the kimchi fried rice is buttery, and the thai brussels are so flavorful! We've tried other sides like the shishito peppers and miso-butter broccolini, fries, and sweet potato fries. Happy hour: Also a staple in my happy hour rotation. Have ordered the classic yellowtail ceviche, original ahi poke, sticky ribs, and pupu platter (not the recent one). Drinks that I've tried and loved: Mai tai, lemongrass mojito, island mule, spicy pacific. Their drinks are fresh, bright, creative, and always hit the spot. Came on a Saturday for lunch with a friend around 1pm for lunch and most of the tables inside was practically empty. Easy parking since it wax in Cupertino square. Before I start, there is a 3% living wage surcharge. Which like an extra item to the bill and tax and tip will be calculated on that number on top of it. I AM NOT A FAN OF SURCHARGE, especially if the place does not disclose that information ahead of time. Yes, I do think that waiters deserve to be paid more but I think thats the restaurants duty to provide that wage base minimum wage. We have no problem with tipping, but what upset us was not knowing about the surcharge and then also being taxed and tipped on it. My main reason for 3 stars is the lack of transparency on that. Other than that, the food was good and the servers were nice! The tables were a little dirty and there were a lot of flies inside though. I got the Ahi Poke (small $18) and my friend got 3 tacos with a side of fries and some black beans ($23). The poke was really good! For a small, it seemed big and filled me up! The wasabi sauce paired really well with the lime and was not spicy. My friend loved her tacos and she shared some of her fries with me. The fries were also really good! This place is so delicious, I wonder why I don't come more often. I've only come here a few times, but I remember the dishes I order ever time tasting memorably delicious. I came here for a sort of Christmas Eve dinner with family and ate on their outdoor patio area because we had a dog with us. Let me just say, their outdoor patio area is soo nice ! The table and decor feels so cozy and warm, even though the outside is dark and cold ! One thing I will say about the outdoors eating is that I wish it were easier to flag down servers, at some points it felt like the servers forgot about us customers who were eating outside. I have tried multiple items such as the Poke Nachos, the Sushi, and I recently had the Latin Chimichurri with Yellowtail bowl as I was looking for something healthy. I found that the medium size was more than enough, but though it was supposed to be healthy as it only had veggies and quinoa, it was drenched in dressing which ended up making it feel greasier and heavier than I wanted. Honestly a pretty great casual spot for seafood in Cupertino! My boyfriend and I stopped here on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The lobster roll on the menu is what immediately jumped out at me because I LOVE lobster rolls, and my boyfriend opted for the mixed catch fish & chips plate. My lobster roll was fantastic! The sweet and toasted roll acted as the perfect vessel for that delicious and fresh lobster salad nestled in romaine and topped with avocado. The sweet potato fries I got on the side were great as well. The portion size was solid and I even ended up taking a handful of sweet potato fries home for leftovers (perfect in the air fryer). The mixed catch fish & chips plate was also quite good, and it came with a large amount of food. This plate comes with cod, coconut shrimp, and calamari and we really loved that there was a separate dipping sauce provided for each type of seafood. Definitely a great menu option if you're indecisive and wanting to try different things :) Overall we had a good experience here and I would want to come back to try more of their extensive menu.
