Hell yeah, I just had a blast the night before and was super hungover.. I stopped by here around 3PM on a Sunday and was still completely out of it recovering.. I was greeted by a nice barista and asked what's popular as I'm dying and trying to be coherent. She told me it was between the horchata or ube and I decided to go with the ube. The lighting and design of this place is very modern and aesthetic. There's many mirrors to take pictures and take selfies with your coffee but I chose the lather and decided not to do that . Good pricing, good service and quick! I'd definitely be back!
Located in a plaza just a block from the 405 and John Wayne Airport, I made a special trip to this place after a friend treated me to some cookies she got at their Santa Monica location. This location is much closer to home, so I visited one afternoon when craving their cookies. The interior is modern, classy-bougie, with 4 tables and a large cushy chair. I ordered two cookies, the chocolate chip walnut and peanut butter chocolate, along with an iced horchata latte. I sat at one of the tables, opened the box my cookies were presented in, and found myself in cookie ecstasy. The cookies are fat mountains of deliciousness. Slightly crisp outside and soft inside (note: even softer if taken home and warmed up). The chocolate chip was crammed full of chips and the walnuts were in tiny bits to keep the cookie's texture soft. The chocolate cookie was also enormous and had an abundance of peanut butter chips. Both were superb. The horchata latte had just enough ice to keep it cold. It had a bold flavor of cinnamon which I loved. Staff here were friendly, efficient, and speedy. I like the vibe of this place but like their cookies even more.

This is my 3rd time at a Paderia location. Normally I hit the one in Fountain Valley. This location had cookies I didnt see in FV. Maybe I wasn't paying attention but it caught my eye. I only wanted the latte but these cookies were callin me, so of course I had to pick up that phone! First the service. 5* - The one customer in front of me was being indecisive and took way too long, but this is not the faultof the restaurant. What I loved is that the person behind the counter was super genuine and nice. She saw I was waiting patiently for the customer and went above and beyond to help me bypass the wait. I chose to be patient as I wasn't in a rush. Thank you though! The Latte 5* - Sea Salt Caramel Latte. I picked something I've had many times before and mostly just wanted the caffeine. Absolutely wonderful latte. The foam, the caramel, the coffee. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. The Cookies - Cookies-n-cream 5*. This blew me away. Its their most popular item. There were samples and before I could stop myself, I had 3 samples. Lol so gooood! Warmed my cookie up when I got home and it got even better than 5*. - Pistachio Cookie 5* This was so good. If it had a chocolate shell on the outside it would've been a Dubai Chocolate Cookie and sold for 3x the price. ( Hint hint Paderia! ) I love how both cookies were exactly the same in chewy texture and quality, and so different in flavor and experience. So good I ate both in one day. Keep it up, Madeira! Ill be back!
To crave our sweet tooth found this while in the area. Inside is an IG worthy interior with couches, chic chairs, and a cool display case for their goods. The menu has variety, from banana pudding to cookies to a variety of drinks. What we got: - PB chocolate cookie - this thing is massive and rich. I was hoping for a softer center and crunchier exterior, but it's kind of dense. Overall a great cookie. There's plenty of other ones to try next time! - matcha latte - nothing to write home about. The matcha wasn't overly powerful, though I appreciate that it wasn't sweetened like other places do, which can mask the flavor. - banana pudding - super fresh and perfectly ripe bananas. The pudding isn't overly sweet. - ensaymada - tasty and huge! Things come out quick here so that's a nice perk. Next door was a popular pasta spot (which we got takeout for my FIL) - so a good one two combo if in the area.
Good vibes, love the space and the ambiance. You can order from a kiosk or a human which is nice depending on your preference. My drink was made correctly but in the wrong size (too small) and once I mentioned it to them upon pickup, they completely remade it and gave me the smaller one also since they'd just be throwing it away, so that was a nice surprise! The customer service was great and there were lots of people casually hanging out or on laptops. I ended up getting the coconut matcha a couple days in a row. I liked how lite it was, and it was good but felt like something was missing... couldn't put my finger on it - not sure if it was the type of coconut water being used or that it wasn't sweetened with anything (it seemed) which is all to preference. It was good enough for me to go back a second day and get it again. The second day was better by the way! I love how they also serve some delicious treats daily! The prices are decent, Try them out if you're ever close to the John Wayne airport!
YYUUUUUMMM! Love love their cookies! And their coffee is great too. I've been back a few times and have tried every flavor of cookie and each one in delicious. Your favorite will ultimately decide on what your preferences are. Each cookies is super THICC, with a crisper, crunchier outside, and a gooier center. If you want to be wowed with just how fancy cookies can get, this is your place. My favorite is the triple chocolate, sea salt chocolate chip, or chocolate chip walnut, depending on my mood. I've also tried their ensaymada! As a Filipino, I enjoyed their take on a more upscale ensaymada. I did wish the bread was a little more pillowy and fluffy. I've also had a few of their coffees which are all also great. I had their seasonal dubai chocolate inspired latte which was called the Dark Chocolate Pistachio Latte. I really enjoyed it and it was basically dessert in a cup with coffee. Lastly, I also love the vibe of the place! They usually have some free samples up at the pick up window along with water. Service is usually great and quick. I've been multiple times to hang out with people and the vibes are always great. ILY PADERIA!
This place is beautiful and the baked goods are decadent. The mint infusion drink was so yummy and fresh. The double chocolate, sea salt, and toffee cookies were divine. It's not cheap, but I can appreciate the quality behind the product. I paid $20 for 3 cookies, so keep that in mind before you go choosing everything that look good
Paderia was recommended by my cousin years ago. I finally got to taste their amazing cookies last year and I have continued to come here as they are my ultimate fave! I've tried cookies from other cafes and nothing compares. I'll pay the $5 for a single cookie! And walk out with more!!! This time, I ordered the dulce de leche horchata (coffee can be added if you ask) and it was just as amazing as their baked goods! Customer service is always friendly, no matter when I come, no matter with who, no matter how busy they are!!! The cafe itself is right off the freeway and it offers seating and a spot to lounge. The restroom is super clean and parking is plenty. Paderia has a customer for life! read more
As someone who loves matcha, the matcha horchata was pretty disappointing. I also love horchata and that was undeniably good but there was no matcha flavor at all despite the rich green color that was present. I even asked my brother to drink it for me and he said that if his eyes were closed he wouldn't even know matcha was a part of the drink. However, the Portuguese Egg Tart had a beautiful flaky crust and custardy center which made up for it but I was really looking forward to my drink. I know that they're famous for their cookies so I'll be back for that another time. read more
A couple of fun things to mention and then a serious danger. Five stars just got reduced to two, in one glaring mistake by ownership. Yes, this place is hip. It's new. It has incredible cookies. Not a lot of them, but they are good. The decor is modern, fun, hip, clean, trendy, and dangerous. We ordered the cheese tarts, two chocolate walnut cookies, and a Mazapan Coffee. It was packaged in a very cool black box for us to take home. I want to say everything tastes great. The cookies were excellent. The cheese tarts were delicious. We passed around and tasted the iced coffee and I noticed something: small bits of nut at the bottom of my drink. This is a "hazelnut" iced coffee, so I didn't worry about my son's severe peanut allergy. Well, just to be safe, since I had hot seen any mention of peanuts in any type of coffee, literally anywhere on Earth. There were no warnings of allergies like in other cookies stores. I concluded the only peanuts were in the chocolate peanut butter cookies. I told my son that they never put peanuts in coffee, right? Well, just to be safe, I moseyed back to the server and asked "There are no peanuts in this drink, right?" "There are peanuts in that drink sir! We are so sorry!" Of course, we panicked and had him drink lots of water. Luckily, he had no serious reaction to this horrible event. This place is very dangerous to the millions of people who have peanut allergies. I never thought of buying a cookie could put a loved one in my family in danger. read more
Cute bakery with unique pastry and drink options! The sea salt chocolate cookie was extremely delicious. The outside layer of the cookie was chewy, while the thicker inside was dense. These are my favorite textures for cookies! It was packed with different chocolate chips (I'm not sure which ones), but it surprisingly was not overwhelmingly sweet. The sea salt on top was a nice contrast to the sweetness. I also tried the peanut butter chocolate cookie, which was equally as scrumptious! I have to compare the cookies to Levain in NYC, and I will say they were on par! I would pass on the ensymada next time, however, as it didn't really live up to my standards (picky Filipino here lol). It had way too much sugar on top and tasted so much like sugar and not like butter/cheese. I do wish there were more drink options, such as espresso drinks. However, I will say the Mazapan coffee was delicious! I absolutely loved the peanut candy bits in the drink - it worked perfectly together with the creme. The creme was fluffy and creamy, a little salty and not very sweet. Overall, the drink wasn't too sweet despite all the ingredients, and I really enjoyed it. The only thing is I did not really notice the hazelnut coffee flavor, but I didn't mind because the creme/peanut butter was sooo tasty already. The plaza has a decent amount of parking, and it gets superrr busy around weekday lunch (I assume with all the businesses nearby). I recommend ordering online for your order to be ready when you arrive. They make your drink when you arrive to pick up so that it stays fresh! I will say to double check your order before you leave, because they forgot one of my pastries and I had to call to have it refunded. I would love to try the Portuguese egg tart, so I will be back :) read more
Best cookies in Orange County! As someone with a cookie obsession, I've had my fair share of cookies and these are definitely my second favorite rivaling NY's Levain Bakery. These cookies are THICC with a crispy edge and gooey soft center. All the flavors looked so good but I decided on their Chocolate Walnut, Chocolate Peanut Butter and their limited special of Toasted Almond Joy. Each of the cookies are $4.75 per cookie. They taste great as is, but I definitely recommend popping them in the microwave as they suggest on their box for extra yummy-ness - it's truly pure deliciousness when warm! I've been to their original Fountain Valley location and this Irvine location is just as good. If anything, I prefer the Irvine location more as it's a bit more spacious with indoor seating. Service was friendly and quick as well. read more
This bakery is on a trendy strip mall with plenty of parking. The exterior and interior looks new and classy. There was plenty of comfy and cozy seating. The decor was warm and inviting. I did take out of their chocolate chip cookie and egg tart. The service was OK. I asked a question about the Ensamada. She answered it and did let me know I could add cheese. The egg tart was very good! One of the best I've had! The crust was flaky. The filling was just right, not runny. The cookie was good, too but I like mine a bit softer. read more

My New England heart is so happy to have a bakery like this in Irvine. Total dupe for Levain cookies! Perfectly baked every time - a little crisp around the edges, soft and gooey on the inside. The cookies are pretty dense but are a little pricy (more than $5.50 per cookie, depending on standard or season flavor). The sea salt chocolate chip hits the spot. read more

Stopped by Paderia due to spontaneous craving for sweets. The chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I've had, it was a little on the sweeter side but not overwhelming. The cookie itself was soft and yet flaky, maintaining an amazing balance of flavor and texture. The portuguese egg tart was also deliciously warm and flaky with a nice brûléed surface layer. On top of that, it was not too sweet. While I liked the Raspberry Matcha, it was a little too sweet for me. Less sweet would've been better. But it was not a dealbreaker. Swung by here before heading back to the airport and I'm so glad I did! I was mainly interested in the Portuguese Egg Tarts but the cookies looked so enticing, I just had to get one too. The egg tarts were perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside and the custardy center was creamy and sweet. The cookie I got was the award-winning Chocolate Walnut Cookie. It was reminiscent of the Levain cookie or 'The Cookie' from New Seasons (iykyk). It had a gooey center with Belgian chocolate and walnuts, such a power combo! I will be coming back the next time I visit Irvine! read more

Paderia has my whole heart I love this place. Pastries and coffee and basically everything is so good I'd come here everyday if my bank account could survive it. My go to is usually the horchata coffee (or horchata matcha if i'm not feeling too much caffeine) and I tried the cheese ensaymada today which is honestly so good. Perfect combo of sweet, fluffy, cheesy, and salty. In terms of working there's 4 (or 3 i can't remember) tables with outlets and a couch so a little bit of space but I wouldn't bank on always getting a spot, especially if it's busy. read more

The smell of freshly baked cookies can lure patrons into the shop for miles. My friend heard of this place by seeing videos of it on social media. We decided to visit on Chinese New Year's and as expected the line was out the door but the manager I believe was greeting every customer to make the wait time more reasonable as well as assisting with checking out. I opted for 2 chocolate chip walnut/2 chocolate chip peanut butter cookies/Portuguese egg tart. All items were packaged in a box with plenty of parchment paper. the staff here were warm and welcoming throughout the experience. The shop had an aesthetic modernized interior. The Portuguese egg tarts were light with a flakey crust, the cookies were crisp on the outside with a warm chewy texture inside. read more
The cookies, malasadas, and banana pudding are great but the 3 stars are for their rendition of pasteis de nata. Very lumpy in texture and not the silky smooth custardy goodness I expected it to be. The pastry shell was also way too thick in proportion to the custard and a bit stale. However, service was speedy and it is in a convenient location with plenty of parking. Paderia is a tremendous bakehouse offering amazing drinks and desserts. It also offers a nice ambience to study or meet with friends. The drip coffee, chocolate chip walnut cookie, and Portuguese egg tart a must! If you're looking for something different, but still excellent, consider the strawberry horchata and seasonal cookie. The walnut chocolate chip cookie won an award so I tried one. All the cookies are 5.25. They look small but a little bit tall and it is heavy for its size. The outside has a welcome crunch and the inside is buttery and tender - maybe too tender as the very center was undercooked. I just tried their strawberry horchata, and it is really, really good. Their strawberry purée tastes good, and the horchata is not over powering. It would be good with a shot or two of espresso in there!!! Unfortunately, they still don't sell their malasadas at this location, but I hope they will soon. Those are so delicious. read more

This place was AMAZING!!! I loved the food, drinks, service, and ambiance. The strawberry cream cookie reminded me of fruity pebbles and the sweetness was perfect. The egg tarts were amazing and highly recommended. Although I accidentally didn't sweeten my matcha latte, I was surprised how amazing it was without any sweetener. The person who helped me was so sweet and very helpful on which things were the best, however, I think everything is amazing. Will come back very very soon. Service was phenomenal. Right away I was greeted with the warmest welcome! Love the interior. I really liked the dark walls and high ceilings. People were coming in and out of this place. I only purchased cookies on this trip but I do want to try one of their drinks. They look and sound delicious!!! Probably the best peanut butter cookie I've had. Soft inside and crispy edge. Plenty of peanut butter flavor. The chocolate sea salt was great. The egg tart was good but a bit greasy. The shop has a really nice vibe to it. The cookies were so good we came back the next day. Thankfully they are good as the service the first time wasn't great. Part of my order was missed, which happens no biggie. When I went back and while I was waiting in line I overheard the girl worker chatting with her friend about how much she hates working here. My go to spot when I'm craving banana pudding. It has a rich, sweet banana cream with wafers and banana chunks inside. I'm obsessed with it. I also enjoy getting their Portuguese egg tarts which has a flaky and crispy exterior and creamy egg custard. I got a raspberry matcha latte with oat milk and it was so good. The perfect balance of the matcha bitterness and the sweetness of the raspberry for my taste. It takes a few minutes to get the food and drinks but overall it's decently fast. We found this place through Yelp while searching for a coffee place to wait before work. The reviews were vast and incredibly positive, and the images made us believe the coffee would be great! Unfortunately, the mocha latte was incredibly milky, making it increasingly hard to enjoy the coffee flavor. The horchata latte had a nice horchata flavor, but again, almost no coffee flavor. I would suggest you come for the horchata only and maybe the pastries! They seem to be pretty popular. All in all, definitely don't come for the mocha latte read more

So we stopped by here and asked what should we cookies we should get. I ordered double chocolate chip cookie, salted chocolate chip cookie and chocolate chip walnut cookie. Omg everything was amazing and soft. There were guest who told us everything was bomb and they definitely didn't lie. Everything was perfectly flavored, soft and chewy. I would want more but thankfully I don't live in the area so I won't be eating these things often. lol. The ambiance was cute and chill. Can't wait to come back read more
Paderi-YAH!!! Paderia is a must-go spot for their baked goods/desserts. My favorites are the Portuguese egg tarts and cheese ensaymada (perfect sweet-savoriness wrapped in a fluffy bread). Don't sleep on the cookies, either. Very comparable to the famous Levain cookies: super thick, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Not the biggest fan of their drinks. The horchata coffee was too sweet and the vietnamese coffee had a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Ambiance is super luxurious (marble tables wow), and Paderia would be a perfect spot to chat with a friend or have a quick study session. read more

They are worth the hype! The egg tarts and those giant cookies are scrumptious. They do elevate egg tarts and cookies to another level. The egg tarts are baked fresh throughout the day so you can taste the freshness and flakiness of the tart. Depending on the time of day you go, it might run out until the next batch comes out. The cookies are so rich and satisfying, especially the ones with sea salt. I especially love the rich chocolate contrasting with the crunchy sea salt. Many compare these cookies to New York Levain's. I've only tried Levains delivered to CA but not freshly baked so it's not fair to compare but so far these are one of the best! read more

Is there any coffees that are healthy?
If by healthy you mean no added sugars or dairy, their drip coffee is the healthiest because it's just plain coffee. You can probably ask for frothed milk on top.
