Wednesday lunch for $6.50. The taco pocket with chips, cookie or fruit and a soft drink.

Pak A Pocket has been around since 1986 for a good reason - the food is high quality- fresh and delicious. It brings back memories of the insurance company I worked at right out of high school in..... - - wait for it... 1986! It was one of the only places around to snag lunch and we weren't mad about it. Not much has changed since - except for an occasional price increase - but who can blame them. Liz is still around to greet customers with a smile and the Wednesday special is still the taco Pocket - my favorite. If you haven't dropped by I highly recommend that you check it. Parking can be challenging during the lunch hour but the worst case scenario would be parking at the Valero. Best is to visit before noon or after 1:30.

The best little Gyro secret in Fort Worth. This long loved establishment had blessed us with great lunch goodies for years. They make my favorite Gyro! I get it with Ranch instead of Tahini Sauce. The homemade crispy pita chips are the best....wish I could by it by the pound for party's. (Might have to give it a try at home) Homemade Hummus! The only way to have it! You will not be disappointed

I'd give five stars for the customer service alone. The pita chips are amazing. I got the gyro and it was good not the best sauce next time I would get the Greek. Overall amazing though.

We've had family celebrations there, to-go dinners, and a meal out. They care for you as if you are a friend of the family. It's bright and open with lots of seating options. It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
