I truly don't like leaving reviews unless they are positive, but unfortunately this is not the case. We were looking for food, this places seemed to be not busy and we thought why not? When we first walked in there were three ladies at the front and not one acknowledged us. They were all in conversation but we let it go. Before deciding if we wanted to eat here we asked if we could see a menu. No staff was able to get us one and no one knew the accurate prices for the dinner menu. We truly should have walked away here but it was late, we were hungry, and it seemed pretty empty. We ended up paying for the all you can eat... still no menu available. We let them know that we did not eat pork. No one told us that about 5 things on the all you can eat had prok. We wouldn't have paid full price for something we couldn't even eat. They also kept walking around with the options we couldn't eat. Once we were able to actually try something without pork, the taste was just not great. I'll give the meats we actually ate a 3/5. Another disappointing thing was that we ordered lemonades with our dinner, and di not get it for about 30 minutes and had to remind the server twice. I also wish they had let us know of the groupon deal there was online. I dont usually write reviews, but simply felt compelled to write this one. My review is based solely on the food. I have always enjoyed a Brazilian steakhouse and have tried many of them, but this was truely the poorest one i have eaten at. For the price of $50 for a tier 2 dinner, the salad bar was slim pickings with the pao de Queijo was cold and didnt seem fresh. Out of the 11 items in the meal, there were only 4 steak options. Of that the garlic sirlon was well done and when i asked the server if i there was a medium rear, she said no. The Picanħa which is usually the best at Brazilian steakhouses was ok. The steaks were not salted, so there was nothing interesting in the flavor. Rest of the lamb, pork, chicken options were also average. The staff was friendly, but my review of 1 star is so that the restaurant can work on seriously improving their food quality read more

Came here since I got a coupon for 50% off all you can eat. I have to say, I have tried 3 other Brazilian steak houses, so I would like to consider myself not an ignoramus of Brazilian steakhouses and how they should work and taste. This is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse, which I find is the norm for Brazilian steakhouses. The salad bar here is par the course. It has a pretty good selection and the quality is good and salad flavors are quite good. The little stock-card square which is used to indicate to the servers if you are "ready" for more meat or "not ready yet" are the norm. A caveat is that the pineapple is not part of the regular item selections, one must order it a la carte for an additional charge along with seafood items. That was a little disappointing. My daughter and I are frequent water drinkers, however our host informed us that drinks are an additional charge. Everyone seems quite friendly, but not as attentive as other places I have been where one is checked on frequently. The reason for the 2 stars is primarily because of the meats. They are so dry. It is so disappointing. We got the usual medium rare. This is the cooking style where the meat is juicy and tender. This however was dry and tough and chewy, and not because it was a sirloin. Let me preface this by saying that the meats are delicious! The ones I didn't like so much were overcooked, but that was my fault for accepting well done meat. I am leaving a 1 star review entirely for the dysfunction of restaurant leadership, as this was probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. No disrespect to the workers, but we had a reservation for 6pm and weren't seated until 7pm... we only had a party of four. We checked in and had to ask twice about our table, and all the front desk workers could say was, "We're still waiting to empty a table for your party," yet there were MANY empty tables. My assumption is that this place is severely understaffed and can't service the demand. That, and random people were being seated before reservations. Lots of people were angry at the front desk, the phone was ringing incessantly, walk-ins were being asked to wait despite the fact that they weren't seating people. After the whole ordeal, we ate and paid our bill while the wait staff kept glancing over at us with a face, probably because we didn't tip. What did they expect? Shout out to ISRAEL, who attended our group so wonderfully! We would've tipped him specifically if we hadn't asked whether tips were shared with the house. Israel was friendly, super attentive, quick to serve the meat, returned quickly, made conversation, the list goes on. Highlight of the night! I came into this dining experience with much anticipation, only to be let left hanging, seeking more. When I heard our team dinner was going to be at Pampas, I had high hopes because I actually liked Pampas Grill at the LA Farmer's Market. Pampas LV is located in Planet Hollywood. It's highly encouraged to have reservations especially if going in bigger groups. We were seated pretty quickly and within the first 15 minutes, our drink orders have been taken and we were in line at the buffet to get the non-meat items that comes with the $60 dinner price. Not included in this review are any pictures of the somewhat disappointing steam and cold table items that were available for the advertised price point. There were a couple of cold salad items, beans and rice and breads. The meats did keep coming. The redeeming item of the dinner was the tiramisu dessert that I had taken to go. Desserts are an additional charge if you have room for it. Our server kept making sure that we were good with the food. The servers dressed as gauchos were polite and kept circling back. In comparison to Fogo de Chao, Pampas does not even scratch the surface. I also found Galpao Gaucho that's also in Vegas. Perhaps I'll try that next time. read more

I had been to Pampas previously; and when our resort offered us 4 promotional vouchers we decided to invite another couple to join us. The Rodizio dinner includes unlimited salad bar and as much as you want of all the different meats that they serve. It is normally about $67, so we didn't eat much for lunch and decided to go for an early dinner. It is located in the Miracle Mile Shops which are adjacent to the resort we were staying in and we were all looking forward to delightful evening out. Things started out great. We had a reservation, and were seated right away at a corner table facing the mall. Our server, Claudio, came over quickly and brought 2 bottles of water; 1 sparking and 1 spring water. They were $6.99 each. He put them on our table and our friends said they would like the sparkling water. My husband just ordered a Diet Pepsi and I ordered a mojito. The mojito was $12 and decent. My friend ordered a glass of the house red wine, and this is where things got weird! Claudio told us they didn't have any red wine. (He said they hadn't gotten a shipment.). It was early on a Thursday; right before the weekend, and it's primarily a steak/red meat restaurant; how do you have no red wine?! On the menu there were 9 brands of red wine plus a house Merlot and a house Cabernet ranging from $9-$19 a glass! (That's 11 different varieties of red wine!). We even saw a women drinking red wine a few tables over. We were shocked! After we loaded our plates with items from the "salad bar," Claudio came back with 2 full bottles of red wine he could sell us- only bottles, no glasses! They were $80 or $110 each. Also very odd because the bottles listed on the menu ranged from $29-$64, with most being $40-$50. The one bottle was Duckhorn which retails at most restaurants for about $45 a bottle. (We saw it on the menu of a different steakhouse the next night.). Pampas has a "wine cellar room" and a full bar with literally hundreds of bottles of wine on the shelves. We asked Claudio about those bottles and he said the restaurant "doesn't want to sell those!!!" The whole exchange really turned us off, and the food was actually quite good. The salad bar was terrific with dozens of cold items, and a few hot items like rice, mixed vegetables, and plantains. The meat-servers came around very frequently with a variety of meats on the metal skewers. They had sirloin, garlic sirloin, spicy sirloin, pork sausages, bacon-wrapped chicken, etc. All the ones I tried were pretty good. We were pretty full from all of the meats and salad items, that no one could eat dessert. My friends did get a lemon-berry crème cake ($11.99, to go. They said it was amazing! We never opened the bottle of spring water so we had to ask to have that taken off our bill. The restaurant automatically added a tip that was 16% of the meal price without discounts. That was fine with us; even though Claudio didn't disclose the automatic gratuity. We probably would have added more if we hadn't encountered the "red wine situation." I honestly would have given Pampas 1 star for their ridiculous attitudes and policies, but because the food was good, I decided on 2 stars. I would only recommend Pampas to those who don't drink wine. read more

This steakhouse is located within Planet Hollywood at the mall. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by two young ladies and seated immediately. Our waiter, Gabby, introduced herself and explained how the service works before taking our drink orders. We then visited the salad bar, which, while smaller than expected, offered a nice selection of items, including Romaine and leaf lettuce and about four different dressings. I've posted a video of the salad bar. After returning to our table, we placed our card on the green side, and the meat service began. The meats were very flavorful and well-seasoned, which I highly appreciated. However, the Spicy Margarita was disappointing. Its red color was alarming, and the taste was reminiscent of hot sauce, which caused a burning sensation and heartburn for about 10 minutes. The manager was very courteous and made me an original margarita, which was excellent. Thank you! Finally, the location is noteworthy. The restaurant is inside the hotel/mall complex, and the ceilings are painted to resemble the sky. Occasionally, you can hear light thunder, creating the feeling of dining on an outdoor patio. Across the hall, there are windows and flowers, giving the impression of a charming storefront. The design is ingenious. I almost forgot to mention: your picture will be taken, and before you check out, they print them out for you to purchase as a keepsake. Even if you don't buy the photo, they gift you a complimentary 4x6 print with the restaurant's name, date, and time of your dining experience. read more

They boasted about having a good variety of choices in meats coming around, but didn't deliver. The service was cool. The people were nice. But the food and the selections did not land well. Been to several Brazilian steak houses. This one was about average. Service was good. Pretty stocked salad bar. And you can easily find a discount. There's their newsletter, there's Groupon, and there's Tix 4 Tonight. Of course, they will charge tax and tip based on the full price, but that's fine... They deserve it. Took pics of the salad bar but not the meat. I was too busy gorging myself and getting meat sweats. LOL. The meats were fairly good but needed chimichurri or salt. Food was decent. I would not rate it 4 or 5 compared to other Brazilian steakhouses I've tried, but meat selection was decent and sides were good. We were a little disappointed since we had our reservation for over 2 months, and then got sat in the hallway (it's inside one of the casinos- near an exit door- and it was really cold out, draft was bad). We asked to move and they said because there was other reservations, it would be 30-45 minutes. There was a whole band inside, and it was dead silent in the "hallway". If I catch anyone in this place I'm going to find a belt in one of the shops and beat you! I frequent Brazilian steak houses in Chicago all the time and this ain't IT!!!! Had it not been for the employee Rico Suave I wouldn't have eaten anything. First, they immediately ask you if you have a Groupon, next the dishes at the salad bar are in a dish rack off the side of the bar. Most places have built-in dish dispensers. Next, the food has been sitting and can sit empty before refilled. Also, no tops were observed on two of the main sides. I guarantee this place has vermin and other pest. The place needs to close. The food is sub- par and is burnt and lacks flavor. Brazilian restaurants don't usually have meat tiers, usually you get endless meat and you just pay for it. Save your time, money, and palette for an amazing experience at an authentic restaurant like Fogo or Texas de Brazil. The manager said it was due to a dinner rush but you're a restaurant. There's no such thing as a dinner rush- only rush should be to shut this place down. Shout out to Rico Suave this place doesn't deserve your fresh cornrows and hard working service.
