I had to ask, strongly, to speak with a manager. I was told to wait until the manager was done with her meeting. Another 10 min and I needed to ask even more strongly for the manager. FINALLY, a manager came over, asked to "start over" and get the meats to our table, after the meat servers refused to acknowledge our table while serving others around us. We've been here several times now, both before Covid and after, and I am just now writing my review while I remember. Before Covid, they had a nice buffet that was included in their unlimited lunch deal. The various meats and cuts would make their way to your table and you can eat as much as your stomach can handle. ie till you waddle away. Since Covid, they no longer have the buffet and instead, they bring you various items: small caesar salad, a small charcuterie plate, sides include rice, sautéed kale with onion, black beans and our favorite, sweet plantains and some scalloped potatoes. You can ask for refills on these but we didn't and saved stomach real estates for the meats, which they bring around per your choice of doneness (we like ours on the well done side). The meats don't come around as often it seems but when they do, you can ask for as many cuts as you would like. My favorite is the top sirloin and the chunks of meat with garlic butter. Everyone is nice. Make sure you book your reservation otherwise the wait can be from 20-45 minutes. Also, Groupon has packages for $20 less than the original price, so keep an eye out for those. We love coming here once in a while and then waddle our way thru the nearby casinos to walk off the food babies. I'm only really giving this review because of the service from one particular gaucho named Shawn. We came here for our 13th wedding anniversary and the food honestly was just ok. But then again we came here for the late night happy hour. When we arrived, the people at the front were not very friendly and our waitress was nice. But when Shawn came, he brought so much positive energy and we felt like he truly did care about how we were doing. The only reason there were any stars is because the food was actually good and the one rodizio that was willing to come to our table was nice. To begin, this was a girl's trip to Vegas, me and a long time friend; I own a timeshare and we were staying there. My husband (who flew in and out for a wedding) sat through an "owner's update" so we could have a massage. The resort threw in lunch for two at Pampas. We saved it for today and went to the greeter. I went ahead and showed her the certificates because other places like to forward them to the server. Big mistake. We waited 20 minutes for a seat even though there were some empty tables. Instead of walking us to the table, they had us follow a robot that looked like it came out of a dim sum parlor. I understood why they sent us with the robot when I saw they bypassed two nice tables for 2 with a view and wedged us into a literal glassed in corner of the bar area. People before and after were personally seated. Prior to our sushi robot experience the manager made a point of taking the certificates and making sure that I knew that full price tipping was mandatory and generally acting like I was dropped off from the nearest halfway house. We were then met by our server on one of her three stops- water, want a refill?, and want dessert. I had to go get clean plates myself and find my check. This would not have been so bad but then there was the wait. The first two rodizios looked right at our table, turned, and hit every table in the seating area but ours...every trip. Had it not been for the third guy we would have been eating salad. And yes, we had the green card down. When we went to pay our check at the front it was very apparent that the manager was apathetic at best. No apology; a I'll mention it to staff and a whatever. I paid 35.00 for a free meal and no service. They received the force gratuity and drink only. Sad, because I usually tip 25-30 percent as I waited tables in law school. First restaurant we tried to eat in Vegas and it started with a bad start. We got there at around 9 and got the late night option for $29. As soon as we sat down we waited 10 minutes for a server. While we waited for meats, we got to the salad bar and tried some items and they were bad. The rice was undercooked and the breads were hard. The foods did not look fresh. To cut the review short, our meats never arrived after waiting 15-20 minutes so we asked to just pay for our salads and went to the restaurant next door as we were hungry. Horrible experience. I've been to Brazil and they have the service and foods down really well. It's a shame they call this place "Brazilian". Do yourself a favor and go to a restaurant with better service and food. My family and I come here almost every time we are in Vegas as the value is so great compared to many of the other casino options. They have some nice large round tables so the whole group can enjoy each other's company. Of course the food keeps coming. Carnivores will be over the top happy. Sometimes on lighter days you can order just the salad bar. Or, if the budget is tight consider coming for a late lunch when the prices are lower and the experience is about 90% the same as dinner. . We were lucky enough to get an amazing server named Gabby who went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. She ensured our drinks were always filled and kept checking with us. She even brought us steak when the others were backed up. Fernando kept our plates full with the meats. He kept coming around and serving us with a variety of meat/chicken. My review is based on the taste of the food, the salad bar, and the consistency of receiving meats. The salad bar was mediocre and we had to ask our server twice to send the meat servers to our table. We had our card on green, and they kept walking passed us. Then the meats were very dry. We visited Pampas because our hotel gave us a coupon. We did search and looked up reviews. I am very glad we visited and didn't listen to the negative reviews This place was great. Awesome vibe, great service. Alex our waiter was very nice and attentive and kept filling our waters and asking us if we needed anything else. The meats just kept on coming, some of them needed salt and flavor but it was up to you if you wanted to add it which was perfect. The pork was really, really good and the rest of their salad bar and black beans, garlic rice , fried plantains and vegetables were delicious. Will definitely go back when in Vegas again. The hostess Friday night (named Natalie) did not put me through to the manager and intentionally kept me on hold for more than 40 minutes. One manager was going to honor it, then I went the next day for lunch, and they told me that he was 'new' and it was a mistake. They offered me a half price deal (with tip included, no less). The hostess had to tell me; the manager didn't have the professionalism to tell me in person. The food is sub-par, the salad bar was laughable and pretty slim and grim. Don't waste your time. This is a decent and happily healthy find in the Miracle Mile of Las Vegas! As pescatarians, coming here was actually a welcome surprise as we were able to do all you can eat veggie and vegetarian plates at a decent not-so-Vegas-priced rate. For meat eaters, I'm sure this would be an even bigger surprise of a find since you are able to get charcuterie style eating without a hefty price tag and with delicious taste to boot. The salad/cold bar itself could use more variety. If you seat at the bar, you will also get less attention. They are more likely to skip over you. I'm now concerned that this meal may be a disaster. I'd say the couple did not receive their drinks for a good 15-20 minutes. WOW. My server arrives 5 minutes after being seated, terrible with the introduction. Our meal begins before drinks arrive.. shocker. The meat guys were so friendly and helpful and made it a point to make sure we got the meats we were wanting. I saw lots of tables with shrimp plates but to no avail I could never find my server to ask about this. I ran out of water and couldn't find him for a refill. After finishing our meal, he asked if we were ready to close out no desserts offered when Yelp offers a discount.. but I was tired of waiting on him and it still took a good 15 minutes for us to finally close out. Bait and switch. This was recommended to us by the Hilton vacation club. Said we get 50% off our meal. We checked online and their full dinner prices is around $62. Half of that is 31 obviously.
