It got a bit busier after we ordered. It's definitely a good spot to go to if you're looking to catch up with a friend or if you are looking for a place to work. It is also attached to the Lost Vine, which is a good spot for alcoholic beverages.

I used to love this place and their food. But have had several horrible experiences lately. Went to meet a friend for a bite, ordered the Grand Prix panini and bread pudding, the server who took my order approaches me once i sat down to tell me that they're all out of the bread pudding and if i'd like to pick something else. Well no! I just saw about 6 boxed bread puddings in your case- had to tell him and go show him. I then had to tell him the panini was missing the egg, and he tells me that it does not come with egg! Umm .. yes it does! It says it right there on the listed ingredients. He asks me if I would like it re-made? Yes, please! I tell him i am starving so i am going to eat the french fries it came with while i wait for the new one. A few minutes later he comes right up to me from behind holding a piece of paper and sticks his arm im front of my face and in my food, grabs the sandwich and says "im taking this one" and walks away. Excuse me?? Terrible terrible service, no manners, invasion of personal space and overall horrible and awkward service. Didn't even ask if he may take it , nothing. They took the sandwich i had already taken a few bites from and tossed some egg in there and brought it back. I had never experienced that at a restaurant, coffee shop anywhere. Both my friend and I sat in complete shock. Not sure what is worse, the fact they did that or the server being completely clueless and having ZERO customer service. On a separate occasion they sold me a vanilla cone for my son. I only realized something was wrong when my 2 yr old started making faces and realized it was a mint ice cream not vanilla. Our experience at this establishment was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the owner. As paying customers, we visited with the intention to work on our laptops, just like you would at any other cafe. However, the owner approached us while we were working and immediately assumed we hadn't made any purchases. When we clarified that we had indeed bought something, he surprisingly revealed his aversion to laptops being used in his cafe. This came as a surprise since we had observed numerous other customers comfortably using their laptops here previously. The owner's attitude was classless and unwelcoming. Instead of treating us with respect as paying customers, he made us feel like we were unwelcome. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior in a place where customers are expected to relax and enjoy their time. If the owner has an issue with laptops being used in the cafe, it should be clearly communicated through a sign or policy notice. To single out paying customers and reprimand them for using their laptops is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the cafe's reputation. Given this unpleasant encounter, we are hesitant to return and wouldn't recommend this cafe to others who seek a comfortable environment to work or relax with their laptops. Customer service and respect should always be a top priority for any establishment, but sadly, this cafe fails miserably in that aspect. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this restaurant. My spouse, along with family members and friends, was there today and was very upset with how they were treated by the manager of this location. This is completely unacceptable. As someone who owns a business, I know that the most important thing for any business is to care for its customers. Unfortunately, the manager and the owner showed no regard for them. Finding something in the food that poses a safety issue was already upsetting for my family and friends, but what made it worse was the manager's attitude. They felt like they did not matter at all to the manager, and it's clear that the owner of this place doesn't prioritize customer care either. The manager did not attempt to resolve the issue in any way, which is truly disappointing. It's unacceptable that the owner allows this kind of behavior, showing no concern for customers or the quality of service. I am very sorry that my family and friends had this experience, and I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Food quality is one thing, but how the manager and owner treat customers has an even bigger impact on the success of a business. This location is absolutely not acceptable to me, and I will not be recommending it to friends or anyone else. read more

Pandor Bakery has truly exceeded my expectations with its offerings. I have developed a love for their delectable baked goods. During Sunday brunch outing with my friends, we were met with an unforgettable experience. The staff members were not only friendly but also incredibly generous in their service. First time coming here, I don't see myself coming back any time soon either. As always, sometimes it's an off day and then It winds up being really good, so don't take my word for it. I wanted to order the GLUTEN FREE walnut bread that they had labeled in the bakery case. The lady at the register told me she didn't think it was gluten free even though it clearly was labeled. So she went to the back and confirmed that it was mislabeled and told me that the muffins on the bottom were gluten free, however they were NOT labeled as being gluten free. Confusing I know, but it appeared the entire bakery case was labeled incorrectly then. I suppose if you had celiac, this could be a concern. I'm sensitive to gluten but not allergic thankfully. I mentioned this should have been labeled correctly, not to sound pushy but it could end up being a serious problem for someone. Lastly, I ordered the Turkish latte, and she rang up a regular latte, no problem, I let her know it was the Turkish Latte that I was ordering so she corrected it but when I picked up my coffee, I wound up with a regular latte anyway (and paid for the Turkish Latte). Not the best first impression, coffee itself wasn't bad, disappointing though, Turkish coffee is pretty strong and this tasted like more milk than coffee. Definitely not strong enough, and kind of added to the frustration. I would not recommend this place, there are plenty of fantastic coffee houses as you can see from my reviews, I'd go somewhere else.

Toast has always been one of our go-to brunch spots. We used to go to the Newport location, but we…read morego to this location now because there is more parking, and the ambiance in this place feels lighter and more beautiful. We always receive great service from the staff. Everybody is always welcoming and happy to serve. All the times we have dined here, the manager would check in from time to time to make sure we have all we need and that we are satisfied. This is a type of brunch place I would take friends visiting from out of town to. Our staples are: Ube french toast Sisig burrito Chicken & waffles The serving is pretty huge and the food is consistently delicious.
