Coffee Good, Salads NOT a tasty combination, Soups ok a bit too salty and not fresh, sandwiches are GREAT, portions are small for the pasta selections, frosted cookie and sugar cookie good, prices kind of high in relationship to portion size and quality of most of the food, staff almost always forgets the bread and butter or side that comes with the orders. Has happened many times. But overall fair to good considering Fresno does not have many other choices in better quality foods in a fast food environment with drive through. Service is unpredictable and slow at times. We'll wait for a more eager to please competitor to come along that is also price conscious and Very Customer Service Oriented. Bye for now!! First time ever at any Panera Bread I don't do fast food. The food was made wrong from how it was ordered that was the reasons for the review. How do I start employee behind the counter seemed to not know the food. We had multiple orders next the employee making the food was chewing gum and popping bubbles over the food. I couldn't watch I went to tell the manager because that's in sanitary. Manager didn't apologize or anything just walked to the employee. We left food was wrong and terrible I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY LOCATION AGAIN. Not an ounce of caring. Waisted our money learned the lesson. read more

I used to go to this location for lunch everyday until recently. There is one gentleman who is a new hire who I have caught scratching his beard and head with his gloves on several times. I love Panera! However this trip was disappointing.... the cashier was great very friendly and quick. I ordered 2 bagels toasted to go. Apparently the girl behind the counter was too busy talking about her new boyfriends aura to care about her job and toast my bagel without burning it and actually giving me the correct bagel I ordered. Who even chooses onion bagels? I'm glad this isn't my usually Panera cuz I'd never go back. I wound up throwing out the burnt bagel and my hubbies which was also burnt and went though a drive through down the street.... very disappointing experience. read more

I placed an online order and apparently selected the wrong location. I'm a little sleep deprived, I have my mom at home who's recovering from surgery and who requested soup. I've ordered at the panera near my work so many times and it was absolutely my error. They called and canceled my order at the wrong location and quickly made my order. The one good thing I will say is that when we tried Panera for the first time the other night, the staff was very helpful in recommending items for us since we didn't know what was good. Unfortunately my wife and I tried 2 different panini sandwiches and thought they were disgusting. One was a smokehouse turkey panini, and the other was a steak and cheese panini. When I asked a question about the daily soup the guy at the counter simply pointed back after the menu. I am a frequent visitor to this location, and the last few times I have been, the service has gradually gotten worse (and not to mention they got rid of my favorite salad). I have had several orders be completely wrong and have to be sent back multiple times. Most recently, one of the girls taking orders in the front was extremely rude when I told her I did not need one of their free sides. She kept insisting it was free and was very pushy about it even though I told her I understood. Needless to say, I still ended up with two free sides and a wrong sandwich order. I'm not sure I will come back to this location unless I'm ordering something pre-made like soup. It has gotten way too expensive for what you get and then to have the hassle of wrong orders every time isn't worth it. read more

The food here is very good (for Panera)--fresh and presented nicely. And the staff is so nice! Pleasant and helpful. I ordered a Chicken Arugula Salad in the drive-thru and the employee said they were out of Arugula. No big deal, just substituted for seasonal greens instead. When I got home there was no chicken in the salad. Seriously? I spent $10 on a salad (first mistake) that has no chicken!? Couldn't have had a worse experience. read more

I love Panera but this location is awful. Their hours say they are open until 10, so I submitted an order for rapid pick up and the doors were closed. I had to go through the drive through and tell them I was there to pick up my order, and the guy on the other end said, "oh our dining area closes at 9" then told me he was going to get his manager, but for what? Their drive was still open, so why not just give me my order? They need to fix their hours online so more people are not confused, I'm not the only person that has complained about this. read more

i like coming to panera because its close to my house and i can study all day here without feeling pressured to leave 30 minutes after my purchase. its still new so the service is slow and off at times but my management is great on correcting orders to fit the customers' needs. also, prices are reasonable for the food portions. since i opened up a panera card, which was about 2 weeks ago, i recieved 2 free expresso drinks! i love it! great for staying focused while doing homework. so be sure to open one of those babies up! thanks panera for opening up this new location! read more

Review based on service not quality of food. The staff was rude from the moment we walked in did not greet us. Did a "pick 2" the guy put in a chicken Caesar sandwich instead of a salad and then when we received our order we had two sandwiches? Almost every time I come to this location they run out of bread. I just went to this location at 2:15pm, I went through the drive thru. I tried to order one French baguette loaf. When the person who work there said they were out of loafs. I then went to drive away. Being stuck behind someone and waiting in line for 5 minutes. I decided when i got to the window I would ask for a manager. I did. A manager came to the window. I then ask why I can never get bread from this location. She said it was because it was a rainy day. I then let her know this is not the first time. I can never get bread from this location unless it is before 8am. She then asked if I wanted 1 or 2. I said only 1. She then said my total was $2.99. After a long day at work we were happy not to cook and stopped for soup and sandwiches. My order was $22.19 I paid with a $20 gift card and a $10 bill. I when I ask that all of the gift card be used and be given $7.81 change in cash the fun began. The manager stepped in to help, so other customers did not have to wait for my order to be corrected. After a wait he was very polite and gave me my $10 back, said he would short his drawer for the $2.19 and apologized for the wait. When I went to wait for my order I was ask where my beeper was? I wasn't given one. Next I ask for a cup for my beverage and was told if I ordered one the cashier would have given me a cup. Another employee stepped in and gave me a cup. Our food was good, except the black bean soup which was way to thick for a soup. I usually enjoy Panera but this trip wasn't enjoyable. The manager should have just given me my $7.81 change and fixed the error later rather than making me and others wait. Need some register training at this location. read more

Best place love their menu I've tried many things to Paninis to their soups and salads they have not disappointed me yet their iced green teas are soo good also the green shakes... I love their breakfast chooses the jalapeño bagel with egg bacon and cheese soo good I also love their tomato and basil panini .. Ive been to other paneras near my house, this location I had never tried. We went in the drive through, ordered our food and when we got to the window, before paying, I asked about the $.99 cent sweets. I was informed its only cookies now, we ordered 2. I was given the total and paid with my debit card. When I looked at the receipt I realized that I was charged $2.39 for each cookie so before I was handed my food I asked about it. He apologized and said he must have rung it in wrong asked for a moment and walked away. When he came back he said one of them should have been $.99 because it would have come with the meal but the other would be regular price. (Makes sense) he said with it being used with my card I could come into the store and the manager can reverse the charge or he can give me another cookie. I took the extra cookie because I had a sleeping baby with me and it was cold outside. I think those options were fair. Had my kid been awake and it not been cold I probably would have still got the cookie, to me, $1.39 isn't worth the trouble of a visa reversal and recharge. read more

Last Saturday I held a jewelry show for 7 people in the enclosed patio at this Panera location. I had read previous reviews that were not glowing and was concerned about the service some people had received. Because the hostess really wanted to go to this location, I decided we would try it. Well . . . our experience could not have been better! When I arrived and ordered a pink bagel (Breast Cancer Awareness month), they had completely sold out, but had their last batch in the oven. They made sure I received it on the patio - hot and fresh! The restaurant was clean, the service was amazing - they came out to check that everything was up to standard. Sean, our cashier, let me keep a running tab of beverages and pay at the end of our time. The manager/baker was kind and helpful. I just recently ordered some food from the drive thru like I usually do when I don't feel like cooking, but for this location I'm highly disappointed with how my food came out. I ordered the new Soba noodle soup with chicken, all I got out of it was chicken and the broth. Not worth the $9 I spent for it. Didn't realize it until I got home, but it was not worth my time and money to get just chicken and water. They need to check their orders more before they release the food to customers. read more

So i have driven by Panera Bread for several times now and I finally decided to try it for the first time. Customer Service is amazing friendly and welcoming. Told the cashier I was a first timer and walked me through the menu and provided some samples. Finally I decided to go with chicken soup and chicken alfredo. The soup was delicious. However as I continued eating my soup I smelled a very terrible order and it was my spoon. The spoon smelled like it was just soak in water and then removed from the water dried off and was given to me. The spoon ruined my experience as a first time customer.
