I placed an order online for delivery and it arrived under the given time frame which was nice. Upon opening the bag, I found that my chicken Caesar salad didn't have any chicken on it, just a plain Caesar salad. I ordered a You Pick 2, and my chicken noodle soup was just fine except for the fact that I didn't receive my baguette. After realizing this I called the Panera store to inform them that my order had been delivered wrong. The man I talked to asked if I was Casey or something, I said no, he said "okay I'll let the manager know", then hung up. This was my first time at this location. I used the drive thru, which I'd never done at a Panera before. I didn't even know they had drive thru, but I definitely liked this feature. I ordered a caesar salad with chicken and their chicken salad sandwich. Both were pretty good. The chicken salad had kind of a weird taste, I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it didn't ruin the sandwich, just wasn't my fave. Honestly, for the price I paid for two meals, I probably would have rather gone somewhere else but for what it was (semi healthy), it wasn't bad. Wish I could give 0 stars. Placed an order through door-dash on Saturday and when we received our meal the mac and cheese was significantly the worst mac and cheese we have ever had at a Panera restaurant. It was grainy and literally impossible to eat. I called the manager and explained what happened and he said we could either return that day or the following and our meal would be replaced or we would be compensated for our order. Well, the next day we tried to return but the phone lines weren't working so we tried again today (Monday). I called beforehand and spoke to a different manager who said that they had a note saying that our meal would be replaced all we had to do was go through the drive through. Me and my sister pull up and the line is wrapped around the building so we wait in line because we're like whatever we're just getting our meal they owe us and leaving. We wait about 20 minutes to finally get to the drive through window and the woman tells us that only one item of the three that we had previously complained about would be replaced. So we speak to the manager again and she says that all she can replace is one item so at this point we have come all the way here and I'm fed up so I say okay whatever I guess we'll pay for it. We get home and initially things seem to be going fine until I look at my mac and cheese (that I had to pay for again) and find a hair in it!!!! I am disappointed and disgusted. In the past 2 days I have spent $32 on Panera and let me tell you I will NEVER spend my money here again. I previously loved this food chain but the lack of accountability for their mistakes and lack of customer service completely turned me off. Thoroughly upset. read more

This one star is for the night shift drive-thru attendant on Thursday nights. I've always had a great experience here during the day time; fresh food, quick and friendly service, and they would offer suggestions based on something I'm looking for. Not the night shift, however, they are the Bizarro World Panera Crew. First time coming to this location at night (it was close to 7pm) I was in the drive-thru for at least 30 minutes, and although this wasn't what caused me to write this negative review, it put the icing on the cake. I ordered a few things when the drive-thru attendant prompted me to do so, then I asked for a large agave lemonade with strawberry purée. The attendant sounded really confused, so I explained to her that the last time I was there I asked about the agave lemonade and wanted to know if it was sweet. The drive thru attendant offered to add the strawberry purée to sweeten it up and I love it. She told me she wasn't sure what I was talking about and to pull forward and she would figure it out, all the while sounding very rushed and impatient. I finally get to the window and she told me they were out of the bread for one of my sandwiches. I said "ok, no worries, wheat will do." She went away for a few more minutes and returned with a condescending "So, I'm not sure who told you that we add strawberry purée to our lemonade but we don't do that....I'm going to do this for you this one time, but I had to charge you for it." (I was confused, but nonetheless answered back) "...okay, so if you are charging me for it then can't I just order it?" She said "No, it affects our product cost. I asked my manager and she said we can't do it." (Whatever) I finally received my food after another few minutes and checked to make sure everything was there. I was missing my bread so I waved at her to return. I asked for it and she said "are you sure it's not at the bottom of your bag?" And at this point she seemed very irritated. I said "I'm sure it isn't" and handed it back to her. She quickly rummaged through it and left without saying anything. I could see her in the kitchen area with who I'm assuming was the manager and she ripped a few pieces of bread with her hands and threw them in the bag. When she returned she said "Sorry about that, we gave you an extra piece" (Wow, thanks) after driving away I sipped my 'strawberry purée lemonade' and it tasted funny, almost rotten. When I got home all of my food was mostly cold and there were no utensils in the bag. Just an all around poor experience I would expect from McDonalds inside of a Walmart. But this was Panera Bread on Shaw and Marty. Don't go there at night. read more

This is by far the worst Panera I have ever been to. Not only have our last FIVE orders been wrong, they constantly run out of bread, and when we went tonight we were ignored in the drive thru even after asking if anyone was there. I when I called the location the manager just said, "oh we must not have heard the headset." If your cafe is closed and only your drive thru is open you would think it would be manned better. I happen to like the food here and this is by far the closest location, it's unfortunate that such poorly trained and inattentive staff work here. UPDATE- After finally being able to order tonight (minus the correct bread for the Sierra Turkey that they ran out of), we were told the Smokehouse Panini and French Onion soup were discontinued. I have been here two times since this location opened. The first time there was a crazy long line at the drive up window and it took forever to finally get to the window, and when I did they had my order wrong and I had to wait even longer while they made it again. (Although they were very apologetic about it, and took $2 off my order, which was nice.) The second time I came the line wasn't nearly as long and things moved much quicker. The food however is about the same as any other Panera Bread you have ever been to. Mostly bland and flavorless, which is a shame because they do make one of the healthier sandwich options available, I just wish they tasted good. read more

Love, love, love this place! Hubby and I have been going there for years sometimes twice or three times a week! I missed it so much and we finally went Friday and Sunday again and it's still the same great service with delicious coffee and bagels! Everything is great there from menu, service, cleanliness! I have never had a bad experience here. Food is always good and consistent. The other day I ordered 4 macaroon cookies and they only had two. They gave me a substitute at no extra charge. Staff is always nice and polite. Love the autumn squash soup but its only seasonal. I frequently order my food online. Never had a problem. Will continue to patronage this location. The place was very clean, the service was good, however I found the Cuban Chicken Panini Sandwich to be of a very small portion for an $8 close to $9 dollar sandwich. Additionally the contents were also very stingy, it had about 3 or 4 thinly slices of chicken and a slice of ham,. The flavor was nothing of what I expected according to the menu this had a sweet & spicy flavor, but I could only taste the sweet taste of the pickles and I couldn't find the spicy and I love spicy, it just didn't not please my taste buds, the bread was good Don't take my word for it try it yourself as I am very judgmental about tortas and sandwiches, because I love to eat them and try new ones and I do make some killer ones with plenty of stuff in them, and I hate to eat a flat sandwich with hardly anything on it. I've also lived in Santa Barbara and have experienced many great sandwiches and many delicious Mexican tortas, Argentinan, Greek, Italian, Mexican, etc. I'm not sure if I will go back, maybe when I'm not very hungry or maybe I'll have to pick a different item but I still think the portions are not very filling for the price. read more

On January 21, 2019 at 1:26:36 check number 314161 we ordered a Lentil (Did not see the lentils) quinoa chicken broth bowl with two plates and one French baguette (delicious), no butter was available so we had to ask. We use our card for points 96165. Order number was 361. I told my son Chris the quinoa was clumpy and had to be stirred and stirred. I did not like the taste because I think the beef broth was stale but the chicken was of good dense quality. He replied that we should only order salads there. Now from son: I thought the "broth bowl" seemed too salty, but not so much that it was not edible. In the past they looked more appetizing with more character / more visible and recognizable ingredients (rather than the "cooked to oblivion" appearance from our most recent visit). The old bowls were wider and less deep and showcased the dish more effectively as well. I am discouraged by having to make this report, this is the third time we have been disappointed; And the third time we have voiced such. Mostly we had decided to not to go to Panera all together after the second complaint, but because of their convenience have broken from this policy as of late. read more

This is my first time ever doing an order on the app for Panera and I just HAD to write a review. I ordered on the app and after I ordered I immediately tried calling the restaurant to see if I could change my sandwich for a salad and nobody would answer so I was a bit upset, but when I got to the curbside pickup I told the guy who was giving me my food about what happened and he said it was no problem at all (while smiling!) and brought out the salad within 3 minutes! This is seriously one of the best experiences I've ever had. I felt so bad but he kept reassuring me that it was okay. Definitely coming back to this Panera! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food wasn't the best. The pasta did taste a bit like cafeteria food and the salad was okay. Wanted breakfast. Ordered it and then was told breakfast was over even though the menu was up . He then turned menu around to lunch menu. Ordered clam chowder and a salad. Then server said oh wait we don't have that either because it wasn't Friday. So he took that down and put up another soup.
