I just had the fuji apple salad yesterday in a different town, yet today my salad didn't seem the same. Yesterday my salad had pecans, today it seemed to be tiny bits of walnuts. Yesterday I had them hold the cheese, as I don't like feta. Today my salad had shredded cheddar (I think) as a substitute. It was OK, but I just remember how thrilled I was to have found a new salad place for lunch yesterday. I'll give them a try again and see what the tastebuds think. We ventured over to West Shaw for a change of scenery and ended up here due to needing something very casual. Upon entering the restaurant, it definitely gives the fast food vibe with a touch of bakery. For being somewhat new to the menu, it is a bit overwhelming. The clerk was very helpful and courteous. We ordered from the "pick 2" -- soup/corn chowder, chicken apple cheddar sandwich, & almond-chicken sandwich with Cesar salad. Total bill with water only was about $22. Food came up quickly and you walk to get your own. The bread was amazingly fresh and delicious. The rest of our food tasted definitely more like cafeteria style. There's a great atmosphere that feels cozy and comfortable. Nice light music, not too loud. It's a perfect place to have a quaint meeting. We will definitely be back, but more likely to stick to bread and soup next time. read more

I was VERY disappointed with my meal. I ordered a Bacon Avocado Melt and couldn't even chew it. The bacon pieces were hard as rock.

I overall like panera. I think the food is consistent and the menu is good. They have everything from breakfast items and baked goods to lunch items. They also have great coffee and drinks. I usually get a salad and soup or a sandwhich and I always enjoy my meal. This Panera Bread is spacious compared to other locations. I ordered the Kale Caesar Salad. It was very tasty. Kale is suppose to be a really awesome super food. I will be getting my vitamins A, C and K with my salad please. Yes, the Kale was a bit strong but it worked well with the chicken, Caesar dressing, and crisp cheese crackers. Today when I used the drive up I was 1)Charged 4 a whole salad rather than what I ordered :1/2 salad w/out chicken ...I brought to attention of cashier whom made adjustment ...but still charged for the chicken instead of reducing for the cost of a salad w/out protein... 2)Idid not contents of order ....when I got home I realized ADDITIONALLY an item was missing from my order 3) when I called manager there was no offer to replace item upon next visit... It's typically pretty clean and I can always find a booth large enough for all my study material. Andres the store manager is hospitable and creates a warm atmosphere. We normally LOVE Panera. But the last few times this location has been off their game the last few times. Especially last night. (Tuesday 11/26/19). They had a notice stating they were out of Romaine lettuce. (Fine)... then the cashier, Emanuel was totally confused while we were ordering. I'm a vegetarian, so stated that I wanted NO chicken on my Fuji Apple salad. Then they were out of the baguette as a side... but they don't even offer a regular slice of bread or even an old bagel as a substitute. (We ended up buying a plain bagel). Then my moms grilled cheese sandwich was NOT even toasted or melted. I had to remind the cashier to give us our desserts/pastries(he literally forgot). To top it all off, as they were preparing our food, another employee was sweeping near the food prep area!! So gross! read more

I came here at 9:05PM TODAY 10/24/17 and the girl said their dining area was closed. Then this car drove up and the gentleman got out of the car and used his key to get inside . I placed a breakfast order for a curbside pickup at 10:20 AM, I arrived at 10:15AM and via email told the staff I was there for my curbside pickup, at 10:22am Panera sent me an email telling me that my order was ready, I responded to the email that I was there and waiting in parking spot 2 and then I waited, until 10:35am when I called the restaurant I had been sitting in my car at just outside to ask where my order was, 5 minutes later my order was brought to my car, with my cold toasted bagel, which is disgusting cold, no explanation, as to why I had to sit in my car waiting for my curbside order for 20 minutes. I got Panera again. They forgot my frizzed onions *again.* It's really always something, isn't it. It's wild. Like, to forget something like frizzled onions isn't a big deal, right? I was then placed on yet another hold, then told No. I was told it was a catering order. Catering orders needed to be called in 24 hrs. prior! (This was a 9 minute call) I then called the Shaw Ave. location. No problems. I Was NOT placed on hold. The Order was placed and paid for over the phone. I ordered a half sandwich that was really delicious but very expensive so that would be my main reason for not frequenting Panera. The lemonade was very good, also. This location has a nice dining area and a large patio, with free wi-fi as well as charging stations in the booths. This Panera store is fabulous! Love love love the coffee as it's brewed flavor is way better than some of the other Panera's I've visited. I only go to this store because they are the best!! The coffee is very robust and flavorful. The service has always been friendly and welcoming especially Andy the store manager! Andy treats you like family!! He works as hard as his employees. Andy is an extremely nice and a very genuine person! I've always had a great experience with all the food I've tried. I got the breakfast sandwich bacon egg and instead brioche opted for the everything bagel it was very skimpy not at all like the pictures... Yesterday I came for lunch I got the potato soup it looks like they scraped the bottom of the barrel for this small Amount of soup, as I walk to my seat I realize that's probably exactly what happened as other bowls were much Fuller than mine...
