Was excited to eat Panera because theres not one in my city. The airport had one so I decided to try.I had this delicious salad that on top of being a big portion was fantastically scrumptious. Looking at it you would've thought it was a fruit salad but it had greens and chicken and pecans too. The poppyseed dressing paired quite nicely with this. I love Panera. I probably order once a week and my bf we go there to eat 2x per month. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Been going for 5+ years. I have to give a huge shout out to the manager Heather O and her employee (hopefully I am spelling it correctly) Lancry. I ordered my food and about 20 minutes after the deliver time I called. Seems Door Dash never delivered it. They both went above and beyond to make sure I still received my order. The communication and apologies her amazing, even though they really not to blame. Had the worst delivery experience with Panera. Missing food items and poor quality food. The bag was ripped and the drinks were not properly secured; They didn't even bother to add safety stoppers on them so the drinks spilled. To top it off the delivery man kept hanging up on me when I asked about my delivery. Who in their right mind would leave food out side in the back of a building in 105 degree weather. Only got a steak and white cheddar panini, a large Mac and cheese and a drink. Cost $25. Was told to wait in the drive thru parking spot. At least 5 cars behind us got their food. After 20 minutes, I went inside, the lady at the register had no idea, and said it's just they are behind. So I went back to my car. After another 15 min goes by, I went BACK inside and they said they are just waiting for steak. No empathy. No customer service. Waited for a total of about 40 minutes for a sandwich and Mac & Cheese. Every time we come here, there is an issue. We finally got our food and the lady was just so rude. I said that this was crazy and she shrugged her shoulder and said "sorry I don't know, I just deliver the food, I don't work in drive thru" Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. I was recently offered a free coffee subscription for 6 months. I certainly will not renew nor use this hardly at all. The first day I went there for my morning coffee only to find out they do not open (even the drive up service) until 11 am. As I left I noticed all the other coffee joints were lined up with people getting their morning coffee. Now who on earth wants to get their coffee at 11am????? BEWARE: Do not pay to join their coffee club as you will end up somewhere else and having to pay anyway for your coffee. They advertise that they are open until 10 or 11 (?) pm. All the food at Panera's chains are pretty much consistent and I always stick to same order I know best. Pick two: bacon turkey bravo & lemon orzo soup with an apple This visit I also ordered their newly showcased Power Passion Smoothie. Bacon Turkey Bravo comes with such a lovely tomato-basil bread, cheese, turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato. I typically get a tomato soup, but went with their lemon orzo soup for something more simple. It's more of a broth with orzo, instead of a lemon orzo chowder. The smoothie was really good, it was refreshing ! Green from the spinach, fruity and light from the mango and peach I believe. A bit pricey for such a small portion-- might want to stick to smoothie orders at Jamba Juice. Service can be a bit slow and hectic, but the servers do with what they can with those problematic pagers. Pretty busy location during lunch, but they do have a drive- thru. read more

Absolutely amazing location! My favorite location in the Phoenix area! Great layout of the dining room and always clean and picked up! Horrible customer service experience, food service was also unacceptable. They made my order with a piece of paper. When I spoke to two mangers one being Courtney and the other being Ruth. They both said I can not refund my order but offer a remake which I did not want since they made my order with a choking hazard in the middle. I informed them since I was chocking on a piece of paper I no longer wanted to eat there especially when I was receiving attitude from Ruth & Courtney. They also never apologized for this and only apologized saying that was was unable to refund my order. I will not be returning to this location nor would I recommend. I've been to this Panera a few times via dine in and drive through. The service and food are pretty good. However, the tables and drink area is quite dirty. I was looking for a nice booth to sit at but they all had trash or crumbs on them. I ended up wiping down the tables myself. I always see the staff in the kitchen when I'm here. The only time I see a staff member come out is when they are delivering food. They should have someone come out every half hour or so to clean up. Especially now that Panera has the built in electronic tablets that takes your order, I would think it's possible to have employees take care of other tasks. I really think this Panera can be 4-5 stars if they make small changes because it's a really nice location. read more

I have a mild addiction to this place. I love that it's healthy (but you can also cheat on your diet if you want because their cookies pastries and French bread are awesome!) I also love that you can customize your food. I love to add mandarin oranges (they only have them available when they have their strawberry poppyseed salad on the menu) cucumbers and pickled red onions to the Asian sesame salad (my all time favorite). Really, Nothing Special Panera Bread is a healthy option for lunch. Today, my lunch companion and I ordered sandwiches, chicken salad, and 2 different turkey sandwiches with chips. The chicken salad was on dark bread, with lettuce, tomatoes, and walnuts. The walnuts really made the sandwich, however, the chicken was a tad on the dry side as was the turkey. First time here in months. Probably the last time as well. There are always issues here between not having items, or getting pickup and having missing/wrong items. Now today they have 1 register open and none of the kiosks work. This place never manages to disappoint, but I have loved Panera for 10+ years so I keep putting myself through this. I guess I'm going to have to find a replacement. Especially when this specific one is the most convenient for me. Just needed to add that the manager and employees here are completely ignorant. Our food came out wrong again. The person checking the food even went back and brought our receipt over to prove they didn't screw up, yet looking at the receipt and our food, they screwed up. I went to tall to a manager and that person who was checking the food tried to block me from the manager. Then I had to as the person who I thought was the manager if they were because they were ignoring me as well. I then just asked for a refund because I didn't want to deal with these people anymore. The manager gave me a refund and walked away as I was mid sentence. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Customer service is gone and even managers don't care anymore. This place is one of the worse restaurants I've gone to and they are the reason Panera will get no more of my money. read more

I am not a fan of using the kiosks. You have to try to navigate through to find what you want. To me it is very cumbersome. I was trying to find a sandwhich and just gave up. Then you are asked about a tip when purchasing. I do not mind leaving tips, but they did not take my order. They did not bring it to me also. Today's my birthday so I wanted to stop by for a pastry! First I tried to place my order online but I had an issue so I called the store, asking them to clarify some thing and upon calling I was treated with some disrespect and was hung up on when I asked if something could be clarified to me that I didn't understand. Since I still don't understand, I tried ordering in store instead and upon arriving at the store I spoke to the general manager, Kim to let her know what was going on, maybe expecting an apology, but that was not what I received. Instead I was Looked at with a blank stare and didn't really offer any explanation and didn't apologize didn't really care about the fact that I was hung up on and had bad customer service. If anything I feel like it was Kim who was on the phone who hung up on me and if she was, she didn't apologize to me when I arrived at the store also for it to be my birthday and to be treated this way is really unfortunate and don't want that to happen to any of the customers here at Panera I've never had an experience like this with Panera and it is unfortunate that Kim is the manager of the store and she's her customers this way read more
