I love Panera bread, while this location was prime for my walk last night, I felt that the counter girl was tired, spoke softly to the point every question she asked I had to ask her to repeat, she did apologize and smiled as I think she felt that I was not hearing her, but a may be thy could be worked on. In addition I noticed that she was the only one behind the counter, may be she was over worked. Now the food I ordered tomato soup and chicken sandwich. I really enjoy this Panera and it's near and dear to my heart. I had moved to AZ back in July and I was excited to try a new place for lunch on my first day living here. I started looking on Yelp and got overwhelmed (new job, new state....I got analysis paralysis when reviewing AZ lunch spots!). So I just went with the tried and true Panera since it was nearby. Given that this was my first meal dining out as an AZ resident, it will always be special. I live less than a mile away and have come here quite a few times since. My typical go-to is the Greek Salad with no olives and no onions (extra dressing!). I also love the iced tea that Panera has. I've always had great and helpful service here. 5/5 stars based on Panera standards. Honestly all of the Paneras back in Ohio have a knack for getting orders wrong EVERY time. So now that I've been to this one many times, I'm very pleased with the food and service. Will be back soon! read more

I placed an online order to be delivered. Received confirmations on my order. At 12:57 they sent message via email and text that my order was on its way. I am 1/2 mile away but could not leave my office. The tracking of the order did not work so by 1:45 I called the store and was on hold and disconnected 3 times. Called fourth time and finally got a person to answer. Asked where my order was she said the driver was having problems with his phone. Then she said they were really busy and that my order would be there soon. She tried to tell me that I placed my order to be delivered at 1:30. I have the confirmation that it was to be delivered ASAP and it would arrive between 1:20-1:30. The driver showed up at 1:55. As you can see on the receipt they didn't even leave until after 1:20. read more

I tried to call Panera to place a take-out order because I knew that they were only doing curbside pick up and take out (covid). The girl that answers the phone tells me that their system is down so that I need to call customer service to place an order. I told her I was parked outside and she didn't even offer to tell me that you could walk up and order. I was about to leave and had to ask someone else standing around who told me I could walk up and order. Next. I walk up to place my order. As you can see the menu says a bacon egg and cheese cost $4.19. I was told some price over $6 by the girl. And she looked it me like I was crazy when I questioned the price and showed her the menu. She says "It's more expensive in our system. This is an old menu." I proceed to tell her it is false advertising and illegal to charge me a different price than what's on the menu. So I ask to speak to the manager. The manager won't even show his/her face to say something to me about the situation. She just tells the girls from the back to just give me the sandwich. I wasn't looking for a handout. I just want to be charged the correct price on the menu. Not crazy eh? And the manager won't evencome and apologize. Ok so I circled this Panera looking for the drive thru, there isn't one here. I went inside, it's pretty safe with the order kiosk and at the window they do have very tall thick plastic dividers up and employees are wearing mask as well. It was a pretty quick transaction, I decided to order at the window, put my telephone number in received my free pastry and my cup for my coffee subscription. I received an offer thru Apple to subscribe to their coffee subscriptions for 4 months free so I did and I am trying it out. Their coffee subscriptions only includes drip coffee, no flavor expect for the hazelnut drip coffee. Not sure if it's worth the subscription at this point since today is my first day. I will have to decide is it worth driving to Panera for a cup of coffee a day (you can get a cup of coffee every two hours or maybe as long as you still have your cup), I don't live too close. I took my coffee home and added vanilla, coconut butter and cashew milk..... Delicious! read more

Fast and friendly! I love that Panera offers healthy, all-natural food. Ordering is a breeze on their handy tablets and allows you to make as many customizations as you please. I can just start off by saying they made the wrong decision to turn paradise bakery into Panera bread in the first place. It's pretty cool that they offer curbside pick up and very honestly, I rarely go in. I've been in a few times and like their selection and particularly like their avocado toast. The coffee is very tasty. My only complaint is that curbside pick up is slow. I mean slow. It's fairly common to see people get out of their car in frustration and just go pick it up inside themselves. After you hit the button indicating you have arrived, expect 10 minutes even for a simple cup of coffee. read more

This place has gone so downhill. The employees are obviously miserable here and their attitudes show it. Their register was shut down only allowing you to order through their kiosk. I ordered a cold brew. Literally one drink that i waited 16 minutes for. As I waited I watched the employees treat people HORRIBLE. One lady couldnt get her card to work on the kiosk and the employee told her he had no way to ring her up and suggests she goes and eats somewhere else. She was appalled. Didn't offer to help, didnt offer anything. To go eat somewhere else. Lol I shouldve just taken my loss and left instead of waiting for my drink. This is one of my favorite healthy restaurants to eat at. It is 100% clean sandwiches and salad place and I absolutely love their Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt sandwich on sour dough bread or their whole grain bread. It is my favorite sandwich of all places!! Also I like their Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice soup. I've tried their Cheddar Broccoli and Baked Potato soup and they are good as well. Get the app for fast ordering and free items like drinks and dessert for your birthday. I've received a few free drinks already so well worth getting the app. Service is pretty quick. Not really sure if they are friendly because I usually just order on the app and pick it up. This Panera was just remodeled since it was previously a paradise bakery. I go to Panera every day but have not been to this one in awhile. I was so happy to see that this location looks very nice and clean and they even have a new and improved "tea bar." (See photo) I come to Panera every morning because of their wonderful tea, since I no longer drink coffee. The Panera by my house does not have this new tea system. I love this tea bar because the tea dispenser is clear so you can see if there is tea in the dispenser or if they are out of a certain flavor. Also, this tea dispenser keeps the tea cool opposed to hot. Very nice upgrade! read more

Thank you to the employee(forgot to ask name )who saw my trying to carry a to go bag and coffee while walking on crutches and offered to get the door and carry my things to my car. Several people just walked right on by me but she stopped what she was doing and ran over. Great employee and person to be so kind to the guests. I am at Panera about 3-4 times a week for breakfast on the go before work. Their breakfast souffle is so good. Brown rice, quinoa, greens, tomatoes, cucumber, a dollop of hummus, a dollop of lemony Greek yogurt, and sprinkled with feta cheese. You can add a protein, chicken, which I did. So delicious! Since the fun with the Kung Flu began it has been harder and harder to find good places to get quality food nearby. Luckily that hasn't been an issue with this Panera. You can call in your order, go online or download the app. I like to call, because I like to talk to the staff at this location. They are all wonderful. Today I spoke with Susan, who absolutely went above and beyond in helping me with my regular order. I also want to thank Johnathan, Ozzy, & Chase as well. They were amazing as well, definitely kudos needed. They even gave us a couple of muffins, and as a foodie nothing makes me love people more than some sugary goodies.
