Since the fun with the Kung Flu began it has been harder and harder to find good places to get quality food nearby. Luckily that hasn't been an issue with this Panera. You can call in your order, go online or download the app. I like to call, because I like to talk to the staff at this location. They are all wonderful. Today I spoke with Susan, who absolutely went above and beyond in helping me with my regular order. I also want to thank Johnathan, Ozzy, & Chase as well. They were amazing as well, definitely kudos needed. They even gave us a couple of muffins, and as a foodie nothing makes me love people more than some sugary goodies. I feel like I'm one of the few people who wasn't a big fan of the switch from Paradise Bakery to Panera, but of the locations that I've been to this is the one I like the best. Granted, I used to come there A LOT when it was PB, and (at least at first) they had a lot of the same friendly staff that made the transition pretty smooth. One thing I really liked better about PB were the pastries. Although I don't think the ones here are AS good they taste a lot fresher than some of the other new Paneras I've been to, which is good. Also, I greatly appreciate that they always offer the $0.99 pasty upgrade with meals. I know this is a regular thing, but it seems like most other locations ignore it and I think it's a great deal. They have a similar set-up as the the old PB location, with the exception of the area where you can pick up online orders. I particularly like the back area where it's a little more quiet, and they even have a banquet area which is nice. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. First of all the individual processing the food as it came out of the kitchen was picking their nose. Second, after I told the manager and he sent them to "wash" their hands he proceeded to give me my food assuring me that it was all there, and I asked if he was sure it was and if there were spoons and he assured me they were at the bottom of the bag. I walked back to my hotel only to find that my order was not all there and no spoons. Don't assure something if you don't know for a fact. The only positive I can say is that when I called they delivered the missing items, which were for my 2 yr old nephews dinner, with 2 complimentary cookies. I can honestly say I will not be returning to this location and if anyone asks I will be honest and tell them about my experience. read more

I didn't have a good experience at this Panera and wouldn't go back. Before I start, the staff I worked with were really nice and accepted fault. The manager however, was present but never once came over to talk to me and when I did see him he would be "hanging out" with the other workers and seemed to ignore other things. I went in to order a sandwich and a soup/salad. The guy who brought our food to the table (I think he was the delivery guy--was really great) made notice that the sandwich wasn't served on its normal bread. When he told me, he commented by saying, "they said they were out of the original bread this sandwich comes on--it's weird they didn't ask you what kind of bread you wanted". The sandwich it looked like a child had made it on regular sandwich bread you'd buy for $2.99 at the grocery store. Not the bread I was expecting after paying $34 for my meal. Okay I was mad they didn't ask me my preference nor did they tell me they were out. The delivery guy felt bad and gave us a free pastry. No manager ever came over. Second, I ordered a full salad and got a half. When I walked over to the kitchen the nice guys in prep made me a new one and felt bad they made it wrong but then I waited another 10 mins for a new one. It was freezing cold in the building. Again, no manager ever came. Their place was dirty and nobody was taking out trash or washing plates-- I couldn't throw anything away because the trash was overflowing so bad. I did a rapid order for the office. This is a great service for people with limited time. Picked it up ran back to the office. One of the salads did not have chicken on it. I called and let them know. They offered to deliver a new salad in a larger size and threw in a dozen cookies for the office. We are very happy with their great customer service. Again, I would give a four star but although it looks to be nearly brand new, the table we sat at was quite sticky. The staff is friendly enough and the food is quite good. So disappointed with my rapid order pick-up. I picked up my order and but didn't check the bag to ensure all items were included as promised. Each item had been checked off on my pick-up order receipt so I wrongly assumed all items would be included. Upon arriving at home to eat my order, all sides were missing. I called the store to correct the issue and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Totally disappointed with the level of service, lack of attention and refusal to correct the situation. So the weekday morning crew is AMAZING! They are thoughtful, remember our orders (regularly go in every day around the same time), always pleasant and personable, but I'm pretty sure the weekends there must be different staff. This AM, got my iced coffee, for the second time, with LETTUCE IN IT! They also don't take the time to put the sugar in my iced coffee, as ordered, which annoys me only because when I take the cover off to do it myself, the coffee then leaks from the lid down my hand and arm every sip I take. I know that sounds dumb, but honestly when it stains my clothes I'm pretty mad, and they aren't busy or slammed at the time we go. We are part of the coffee club they do. At first, the add-ons you got with it were amazing, but they're now slowly taking them away. You can still get almond milk included though which is a plus! The iced coffee seems to be super watery now though and most of the time early in the AM there's ground in the bottom. Blah! read more

Visited this Panera Bread on February 2nd at approximately 7:30 P.M. (Rapid Pick- Up) and was met with a half salad (that I ordered along with a bowl of soup from a pick two) that was not even HALFWAY FULL. I didn't know that your restaurant started marketing "quarter salads" as an option on the Pick 2 Menu! I order from this Panera location several times weekly, as it is in close proximity to my house & serves great food. Up until Saturday, I have NEVER had an issue with this store. New management, maybe? I've eaten at this location dozens & dozens of times, and never have I been served a monstrosity even remotely CLOSE to what I received this past Saturday. Absolutely ridiculous, especially for the price of $4.19! Oh, and don't let me forget, I also added Cashews & Almonds to my salad and there was a PINCH of each nut in my salad. $0.29 to add each nut. Wow. I almost think that this was done intentionally. I won't be back to this location unless something is done. I will be recommending that all peers stay clear of this place. Another consistently good Panera location! I stopped in twice during my stay at the Saguaro - once for a Greek salad and once for a ham & cheese on whole grain breakfast sandwich. I have been to Panera several times and have never really been super impressed or super unimpressed. I suppose it has always just met my expectations. Today I ordered the Italian Sub sandwich and French Onion Soup. First of all, do not call the Italian Sub a Sub. It comes on a sub looking roll but I suppose technically that must be a french roll as the cashier had not a clue to what I was trying to order. It is called the Italian. If you tell them you want an Italian, they will know what you are talking about. So, if you have Bread in your name, (Panera BREAD) you would think the bread would be the star. The bread on my sandwich was cold and so I would assume it was in the refrigerator. It also had that taste that bread gets when it comes out of the refrigerator. A sandwich is not difficult to make. I can make it myself at home with bread that comes out of the refrigerator. I was not looking for that. I was looking for a sandwich with fresh bread. Moving on to the French Onion Soup...It was amazing. Incredible depth of flavor with a hint of booze, possibly sherry and lots of tender onions. Ordering French Onion soup can be hit or miss. I have had my share of French Onion Soup that tasted like dog water with onions but this was not the case. My only gripe would be that there was no traditional piece of bread/crouton on top with melted cheese. Honestly I quickly forgot about that omission as the soup was that good. It is on the menu on Monday nights and I will definitely be back for that. read more

Not to be mean but I guess you have to be of a certain personality to like the food here. The stuff looks great on the big lit up overhead sign but the real thing looks like something the pulled out of a sealed package and threw in the microwave. The grill lines look they were painted on the sandwich. The so called sausage was like a puffy white color and not much flavor. I guess it's the image of Panera as being healthy. If your a steak eating caramelized carnivore. Don't go here. The sausage egg McMuffin is far better. read more

I went to the self service line and tried to order my personal favorite, Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl, what do you know? Bread bowls are unavailable I even asked the worker at the counter! (so much for being a "Bread" company) so I settle and get just a Mac and Cheese NO bread bowl. I sit down with my lady and we began eating I look to my right because i felt a strange presence. I want to preface this review with, I am well aware Covid has put undue strain on restaurants and businesses. I get that. However, i ordered a simple Bread bowl at 5:30 pm. I asked for the courier to please ring the bell. As 6:15 rolled around, and no doorbell yet, I looked out the window. Didn't see my order? Its usually left right in the middle of my doormat. So I kept waiting. Now I call Panera to check on the order. But you can't anyone to answer the phone at dinner hour and are told by the recording to call back when its not so busy. Wow. Ok? By now its almost 7 pm. I call Door Dash to get a refund. They also call the restaurant but cannot get a "manager" on the phone. They very politely and in a very courteous way refund my money and give me a credit to use them again. Especially since Panera has their own couriers for delivery. Door Dash went up and above to serve the customer. Panera, fell WAY short. Now the agent at door dash tells me the order was marked delivered? Right. So I go outside to triple check and there it sits up against a wall completely out of view!??? So I'm really glad I didn't pay for this service because not only was it cold by then but the bread bowl seemed like a day or two old and the 10-Veg soup tasted like a can of minestrone was opened and some corn was poured in. Awful. Also, a cup of soup is served wirh the bread bowl; not a bowl, to fill up the bread bowl? Sorry Panera, you get a D today; Door Dash gets an A+. The Panera's in the valley have been pretty disappointing the last few years but this one really impressed me today. I did the kiosk ordering because I wasn't sure what I wanted and didn't want to hold up the line. I was worried it would get screwed up because of doing it on the computer but there was a young woman working the counter who's only job was making sure that every order was absolutely perfect. Stood at the counter as the only one in line to order while 3 staffers just walked around behind the counter taking their sweet time doing nothing to acknowledge me as a customer for 5 minutes. Ordered a Mac and cheese and soup. Waited 20 minutes even though the store was basically empty. Had to stand at the counter to ask someone where my order is because a woman who ordered 15 min after me had her order name called within 5 min. Instead of anyone coming up to the counter where I was standing, they stood around chatting for another 5 minutes. I finally asked what's going on with my order and she grabbed a nearby bag. I had been sitting there the whole time and no one called my order name. She didn't apologize or anything just pushed it towards me without a word and went about her business. The green goddess cobb salad, a rare highlight to an otherwise dull workday. The sublime culmination of flavors dance together causing instant euphoria. Tender chicken, creamy avocado, crunchy bacon, a perfect hard-boiled egg on a bed of the luscious, crunchy lettuce. I love this salad. This is my favorite salad. Respect the salad. A few weeks back I placed an order of the green goddess cobb for rapid pick-up. Without issue I swooped in, got my salad and began feverishly munching away until I realized something was truly off. The gloriousness was somehow muted, my favorite salad ingredients were somehow missing. Disappointed, I called and spoke to the manager Susan. Susan was extremely understanding and took action to fix the problem. I was graciously offered a new lunch on the house. Of course, I ordered the green goddess cobb salad and this time it was made absolutely perfect and all is right in the world again. I try contacting the restaurant and it's been 45 minutes and still no one is picking up the phone to give my money back. I use to love Panera but this one has made so many of my orders bad that I don't think I'll be going back . I order the Bacon Tomato Grilled cheese for pickup from the app . I arrived and had a short wait for my order . Get to my car a try to take a couple of bites before rushing back to work and I was very disappointed. I pretty much received slightly melted cheese and old bacon on cold sandwich bread . Not grilled , not even toasted . This time reached to customer service online because they have made me waste too much time and money . Customer service tells me that he placed a reward on my account . I asked if it was a refund and he says the refund will take 7-10 business days , which is ok . Then , even though i already provided him with my order and rewards number , he asks me to give him all of the information again including the store address and the amount of the transaction. I hadn't been here yet so decided to check it out. I tried the pick 2 which is half sandwich, soup or salad and a side of chips, pastry or piece of baguette. I decided to do the chicken salad sandwich, which was pretty plain (fine by me ) but super salty. It came on a molasses bread but i spread it on the baguette instead. I also did the chinese chicken salad. Not bad, but just not my thing. I dont know if its the dressing or too many ingredients. Definitely not enough chicken. There was maybe 4 tiny slices. I did a side of mac n cheese as well. It was creamy and hearty, I really liked it. The baguette was very tasty, chewy and perfect side for my salad. I also grabbed a small bag of their homemade little chipper cookies. Oatmeal, chocolate with white chips and there was supposed to be chocolate chip but I think they accidentally put 1 more of the other 2 in there. They were fresh and pretty great.
