We ordered the Pappacitos platter for 3-4 and ordered some Tamales, plus the chips and salsa, tortillas and drinks. The platter was $139.00. You get fajitas steak, chicken, lobster, bacon wrapped shrimp, rice, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. It was enough for us! It was flavorful! I got a spicy margarita, and my daughter and I shared chicken nachos, and we had our fill of chips and sauce. We got seated immediately, and our waitress Blessing came by to take our drink order and gave time for the rest of our party to show up. My spicy Margarita was okay. It was not very spicy, but it was tasty. When our party got there we ordered chicken nachos. And when they came out, they were hot. But it took quite a while for them to get out to us, even though that was the only food that we ordered. I'm definitely taking into consideration that it was packed. Everybody had the same idea about coming there to eat before going to the stadium. I have to say the nachos were very tasting. They had a smokey flavor that was really good. Our waitress continued to check on us while we waited and made sure that our waters stayed full and kept the chips coming. She took good care of us. This location is not usually the one we visit, but it was closer to the hospital we were visiting. The building smelled older but it looked well maintained. The food was delicious - I ordered the cheese enchiladas which are always a hit. We were brought chips and salsa pretty much as soon as we sat down, which is always a plus. The food was delicious as always, however this time I did notice the portions were visibly less. The chard flavor made up for it. After all of the decades I known this Papoasito's as the place for good fajitas, after today I will say this place is not even worth dining consideration. Ill-managed with unqualified facility manager - who simply cannot identify the proper cooking temperature of under Texas health code and regulations, unhealthy and improperly served - simply bad food that could get you sick in a hurry, and seriously overpricing is all you should expect. A total disaster of a dining experience. I ordered beef fajitas, and the waiter brought chicken. I ordered it well done and I received it bleeding - that is not bloody but actually bleeding. As I called the manager to show her, that unqualified. Definitely uncertified, and surely way above impolite said " my boss, the one who pays me said to serve the beef this way - undercooked medium-rare" !!! So, I asked her" what is the cooking temperature of medium-rare, she answered "I will ask the cook"... Papoasito's charged $136 for one serving of fajitas; thus, one should assume they have enough to pay , the least "a qualified manager", unfortunately, that is not the case and with that you are risking your health, your children's health, and the elderly's health should you decide to eat at Papoasito's. This Papoasito's is simply dangerous to one's health. It is not worth it, other than being a waste of money read more

Pappasitos was a little of a mixed bag for us. The shrimp diablo dish we ordered was 10 stars...it was amazing. Also the queso with meat added in was also amazing. We didn't think their chips or their salsa are particularly great compared to some other Mexican restaurants which to us is a pretty big part of a mexican restaurant. I can't really put my finger on why though. It was really busy but even so the wait on a Saturday night wasn't too bad. Our waiter was awesome, nice and attentive. After 20 or so years, I was steered to them for a repast following a friend's funeral service. I just don't understand the draw. The food items are way over priced and everyone at our 16 seat table said everything (chips, salsa, guacamole, beans, shrimp, fajitas, enchiladas) were over salted.
