Definitely worth the money but keep in mind it's a pretty low budget buffet so adjust your expectations accordingly!!! We came for dinner at 6pm on a Tuesday and there was a good amount of ppl, which means higher turnover of food which means fresh food yay! No wait which was great. Adult price was $18.99 and $2.99 for fountain soda. Toddlers are $.99 multiplied by your age. The sushi was surprisingly good. I especially liked their dragon roll. Salmon, tuna and unagi were fresh too which was surprising! They also have a huge Mongolian bbq station with all the typical veggies and meats (shrimp, pork, chicken, beef). You add your own sauce which includes all the basics like soy sauce, teriyaki, garlic, hot sauce. Nothing special. The Mongolian bbq was good but definitely don't expect Great Khan's level of flavors. The dessert station had soft serve and COTTON CANDY WOW! Definitely unique as I've never seen cotton candy at a buffet before. Their desserts were all kind of stale though so I didn't like it very much. My daughter seemed to like the self serve ice cream. Their hot foods selection was not that impressive which is why I docked one star but there was plenty else to make up for it like the price, sushi, and Mongolian bbq station. I wish they had more Asian hot foods as opposed to western foods like fries, wings, mac n cheese, meat loaf, bbq pork ribs. Only Asian food I enjoyed were the teriyaki mushrooms. It's not the best and not the worst. Price is reasonable $16. I'm not sure I would return because it isn't tasty. It's just ok. The Mongolian bbq isn't as tasty as the ones in the shopping center. It's very dry. Sushi isn't that fresh and no variety. Update: down from three stars to one. I got sick all night till now 6am. Gonna miss work because of it. Overall experience was just okay. They do not have nearly as many options as other buffets I've been to but i have to say. It's cleaner than most buffets I've been to. If you're looking for more options I'd recommend Habachi Buffet off commonwealth. We only came here cause it was my grandmas birthday and she wanted to go. As far as "all you can eat" buffets go, this place was great! The sushi was better than we expected and the Mongolian BBQ was fast and very good. My wife and I had to call it quits before we tried the other sections (which looked delicious), but we did manage to save room for the dessert bar. First of all, all three times I went to refill my drink there was no ice coming out of either dispenser. Come here often and today came because my daughter wanted to eat here for her 11th birthday, Well they asked her for an ID in order to honor the birthday promotion. She only had her school ID and they said that wasn't sufficient. I don't know any 11 year old with a state issued ID. For the value, this place is insanely good! I came during opening time and wow there's a huge line. I believe I arrived at around 11:20 and man I was I in line for no less than 20 minutes. But regardless we were seated eventually starving, and for a small place the selection of food is really good. First you have the grill where they can cook up meat and noodles for you of your choosing. The have your more Asian dishes as well as your American, and I would highly suggest you get the fried chicken. Can't beat freshly fried chicken. And the dessert for me is out of this world. Sometimes I come just craving a fat slice of cheese cake, or the brownies. The place is quite crowded and the seats are nice enough. What makes it awesome and stands out from others? It is the seasoning mix and sauces available for you to put on your meat selection before turning it in for grilling. The seasoning powder that I find very irresistible to me tastes like masala or cumin powder type; and it is a game changer. It compliments any meat very well. My wife loves it here too. Paradise Buffet - Yummy Food From Mongolian Grill - Buffets Near Me - Montebello, California

Good Asian buffet. Their star station is the Mongolian BBQ which is front and center in the serving area. That is what I came here for. They have thin rice noodles alongside the usual Chinese noodles made of wheat. Try the rice noodles for a change. The meat choices consist of pork, chicken, beef, shrimp, and surimi crab. I would have liked some tofu as a protein choice but that is just me. I like the vegetables available, which were fresh and some were over ice. The pineapple looks like it was sliced from fresh fruit and not canned. That is a nice touch! There is an assortment of sauces to choose from to season your selected ingredients. There is also a small topping bar with sesame seeds, curry powder, ground peanuts, salt and pepper, to add to your finished meal. The only complaint regarding the Mongolian BBQ is the grill should have been fired up to a higher temperature than what is currently being used. The food usually cooks very quickly at other Mongolian BBQ places because the grill temp is high and the chef moves the food around continuously. The meal is usually done after one and a half trips around the grill. Here, the chefs just sautéed the ingredients in one grill section, tips it back into the bowl that was used for the raw food (a not so good practice), and then turn the bowl upside down to steam cook everything. They are also very heavy handed with the adding of plain water to the cooking ingredients which dilutes the already added sauces. Free tip: there should be some base flavoring in the liquid used to cook the food; it doesn't need to be salted and will make a big difference! The steaming technique just makes the food soggy and bland because no stir fry caramelization flavor remains. Plus, it takes longer to cook by steaming. Hence, when there are waiting customers, fire up that grill and get them eating in two minutes! My waiter was a bit too enthusiastic in busing the tables in his area. I came back from the Mongolian BBQ/steam grill with my plate to find another family seated at my table! And the restaurant was nearly full when this happened! So much for their procedure to have you turn over your receipt when you are finished with your meal. It clearly didn't work with me, unfortunately. But the waitstaff here were very pleasant to deal with as this was a rather amusing, minor mishap in retrospect. No real harm was done and they quickly found another table for me to finish my plate of Mongolian steam fry. There were other foods available in their buffet line, too, which were perfectly fine. They are the usual items available at Asian buffets with a few offerings from other cuisines. Surprisingly, a ketchup covered meat loaf was pretty good. At least, I can say, they probably have one of the better dessert stations for a buffet. The coconut cream pie was very good. Chocolate chip cookies were good, too. There were various cakes available, too, like carrot and German chocolate, that looked fresh and appealing. Cotton candy and soft serve ice cream are available here, too. I probably need to stop eating the dessert offerings first to prevent any future over enthusiastic busing by waitstaff. read more

Its loud, but thats what is expected in a buffet. Food is mislabeled, almost got ribs instead of teriyaki chicken. When this place opened, it was one that i would bring family and friends.
