First time ever trying this bakery! I was at a friend's birthday party and I actually never heard of this bakery until now. This is the blueberry chiffon cake. The blueberries were big and fresh, the cake was light and fluffy. The cream was also not too sweet. I would definitely be purchasing more cakes from here! The downfall that I had with this cake was that there's a hole in the middle of the cake, which makes it hard to place birthday candles. You have to place them around the circle. Also, the cakes and pastries here are quite pricey! Wish it was more affordable. read more

For COVID-19, they are still open! They have this really cool temperature taking machine when you walk in. It scans you and tells your your body temperature! Hand sanitizer is also provided. The strawberry soft cream cake here is seriously unbeatable. The cream is so light and not too sweet, so perfect for your Asian aunties who like desserts that "aren't too sweet." My friends and I have literally bought this exact cake at least 6 times in just 2020 for everyone's birthdays because it's THAT GOOD! It's become a tradition. I often wander in and buy a slice just because I find myself craving that light airy fluffy cream. In the past, I have eaten upwards of 3 slices in one sitting because it's so light and because it's not too sweet, you don't really get sick of it... For my birthday, all I want is a Paris Baguette blueberry yogurt cake!!! I came here to get a birthday cake for my mom and was hesitant on which cake to get, since my mom doesn't like cakes that are too sweet. In the past, we always got the fruit soft cream cake, but I wanted to switch it up and try something new. And I'm so glad I did! I asked one of the workers there for a recommendation and she said her favorite was the blueberry yogurt cake. Another customer ahead of me in line also mentioned that he tried the blueberry yogurt cake at another Paris Baguette location and it's his current favorite. Even though it's called "blueberry yogurt cake," the cake was stuffed with strawberries and had blackberries and grape toppings, so it's perfect if you're a fruity and vanilla cake type of person. Once you walk in and see their baked offerings you'll know that your not in an ordinary bakery! Soft bread sandwiches, cakes, stuffed croissants and more! You're sweet tooth will go numb! They even have mochi doughnuts and coffee. If you want to buy a cake that everyone will remember, this is your bakery! This is where starbucks should get their bakery goods! Mixed Berries Creme Brûlée- while beautifully prepared was a pass for me. It was chunky and the Creme seemed broken. Sadly, it wasn't a cohesive or tasty dessert. Caramel Latte- a sophisticated companion to any desserts. It is smooth and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness that can rival some of the best Starbucks' creation puts out. Great inventory during mid week in the afternoon. Nice place as you enter with lots of tables and cushioned bench seatings. However Staff was stoic and not so friendly, but yet they were horsing around behind counter. One picks up tray and paper and you literally just use tongs to select your chosen sweet or savory pastries. It was so much fun oogling over all of these carb-filled, but craveable pastries. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally had the opportunity today. My best friend and I had finished a hike and had grabbed lunch down the street and I mentioned to her that I've been wanting to try them out. Since we had celebrated her birthday I knew it was a good excuse to go. We came today (Sunday) around 4pm and it was pretty busy. It was actually a lot nicer inside than I thought it would be. The cake was delicious, I dixdn't expect anything less. The almond milk Mocha was soo good! I'm a coffee snob and their mocha was the perfect amount of sweet with the chocolate and bitter with the espresso. Really really good! And if you get the small it's served in a cute cup and saucer. Their pastries aren't bad, but they are definitely cost more than your local mom & pop bakery. I love the aesthetic of Paris Baguette. The sit-down​ area is nice and spacious & the furniture & decor are very classy. You know when you start a review about how pretty something is, the rest of it is maybe not as amazing... I go here often enough because it's relatively convenient to get to for a quick dessert fix. When you walk in, you veer towards the right, grab a tray, a piece of parchment paper, a set of tongs, and set off on your merry way to grab pastries off the trays to load up your tray to your heart's content. All of the dessert pastries always LOOK so amazing (again with how pretty it all looks). The flavors of most of their dessert items, however, are very average. They're not bad; the pastries are always fresh and again, the presentation is always pristine. There just aren't too many standout flavors that come to mind when I think of desserts from Paris Baguette. I do have to give them major props for their mini croissants. They're $1 each and I think 90 calories a pop. They're really nice and flaky, perfectly flavored, and perfectly sized. All in all, I will continue to frequent this place, hoping that maybe one day, I'll pick up a pastry that blows my mind. read more

This is my preferred location for Paris Baguette. Parking is easy since it's in a plaza and the place is a lot bigger, so there seems to be a larger selection of pastries available. The set up is typical to Asian bakeries - grab a tray, place a sheet of paper on it, then pick whatever you want using the tongs! The pastries range from sweet and flakey like cronuts and chocolate buns... to savories like curry croquettes, sausage buns, and garlic pastries. They also have cakes and other fancy desserts, but those need to be ordered from the dessert case. Prices aren't too steep either for the pastries - typically around $1.50 - $4 a pastry depending on what you get and how big it is. I like coming here for a quick breakfast - usually I go for a sausage bun of sorts (either the Hawaiian or hot dog bread) and a garlic sweet potato pastry, if they have it. Try anything with sweet potato! It's amazing. The garlic sweet potato pastry is flakey perfection with a nice garlic hint that goes with the mellow flavor of the sweet potato. Then there are the cronuts... which I like to get here. They're usually filled with some kind of cream filling like blueberry, strawberry, or mango. Be warned - they're incredibly buttery and you may get turned off by the amount of grease you'll see on your paper. Still delicious and I don't give a damn about the grease (you're eating a cronut after all). Chocolate bread and chocolate buns make for a nice subtle sweet breakfast. Despite how it sounds, it's not overwhelmingly sweet and there's more of a cocoa hint in the bread. I like both 85 C and Paris Baguette, but I prefer Paris Baguette for their savory and flakier pastries. Also, unlike 85 C they're willing to heat up your pastries! I'm not one for eating cold hot dogs, so it's nice that they offer to reheat the savories. Aside from the red bean milk tea from PB, 85 C definitely wins in the drink offerings. read more

Great berry creme brulee - very light and airy and full of flavorful berry sauce. The consistency of the creme brulee isn't like the usual dense stuff your used to, I think they whip it or fold it into some whipped cream. The result is a crave-able delicious dessert. It is topped with blueberries, lingonberries, raspberries and blackberries. Didn't seem like there was any cutting corners. Real flavors and I also thought the sweetness was just right. I also had a ham and cheese sandwich. It was just fine even though I ate it probably many many hours after it was prepared. I got in at 9:40 just before closing - so I think for that reason they gave 20 percent off. It was done with a decent mustard and cut into diamonds with the crusts cut off. Great consistent quality at this chain and a 5 star storefront lighting display where you identify from afar. Beautiful interior with crazy chandeliers with arms going every which way and mirrors everywhere. Even the ceiling - very sexy - except if there was an unexpected earthquake. IDK how these heavy mirrors above would react. One of the best parts here is your in and out fast. No waiting - no server - no nonsense. Unlike Starbucks no line either. Lots of breathing room. I came late - but if you want all the options go a bit earlier - you will be overwhelmed with what to choose. Having come at the very end of the night things were not super fresh as I've seen at other locations and the soap dispenser in the mens bathroom wasn't working right. Also some flies roaming the premises like at the other locations. I think they are from all the fresh fruit. Somebody ought to set a trap. So many options: sticky glue traps or a blue light trap or even just some old wine/vinegar with a paper funnel at the top to trap them. read more

We love coming here for pastries and cakes. I love their cheesecakes and the pudding (the cute glass bottles were great to re-purpose as vases). One of our favorites are the tapioca balls, egg tarts, cheese tarts and the strawberry tarts (seasonal). I have not tried their salads or brunches here but it was great to see them expanding their menu options to make it more like a coffee shop and just a pastry shop. I love their salted caramel latter -- it's much stronger than I expected. They have GF macaroons but they don't have a lot of dairy-free options. This location does get pretty busy on the weekends as the parking lot (though bit) there are quite a few other popular eateries around here. read more

Quality check is an important aspect of bakery and looks like it was a miss in my order. The crab meat patty I got was swimming in oil - I could feel the burst of oil in my mouth even after I used tissue to drain it. These things are everywhere it seems. We were saying goodby to family who were heading back to LA so this seemed like a good spot to stop for a quick pastry and some caffeine. its an interesting concept to say the least. Sort of cafeteria meets Paris Coffee Shop, meets a bakery etc. Tons of pastries to chose from and enough styles croissants to satisfy the most picky eaters. The deserts looked really good but we passed on this trip. Both sweet and savory were well represented. (We did not try the sandwiches or go beyond what was already made. The croissant was flaky and buttery and was fresh. The sour cream bar with seeds was just okay and they seemed to have left out the sour cream. It was more like a croissant loaf more than anything else. The cappuccino and espresso were okay. The iced tea however, was really good. They use Mighty Leaf bags and it seems that each order is first brewed, then poured on ice and they leave the tea bag in (which I love) . Every cup is fresh. The service was friendly, but making the coffee and tea was slooooow. I realize it can take time but the shop was not crowded and I can see it would be a real problem if more people would be there. read more

As if we weren't full enough after our lunch at Jang Su Jang, Bob K., his fiancé, and I walked over to Paris Baguette to get some dessert. It was around 2:00pm (on a Sunday) and the place was pretty packed. Fortunately, the line was relatively short. We ordered a slice of chocolate chiffon cake for me and a cup of creme brûlée for Bob and his fiancé. We also got a large iced coffee and a cup of hot coffee to go with the desserts. The girl who took our order was very friendly. We parked ourselves at the table closest to the entrance. Note to management: please clean your tables! Ours was pretty filthy. Also, the chairs were not very comfortable. If you have back issues like me, make sure you bring your own back support if you are going to sit there for a prolonged period of time. The chocolate chiffon cake was very good. It was very light and not very sweet. Bob and his fiancé's creme brûlée was presented nicely. They seemed to like it very much. The iced coffee was just average in my opinion. Overall, this PB deserves 3.5 stars, but I am giving them four since the girl at the counter was friendly. I came here to meet Janet O. and to binge on cronuts however, all I got out of it was new friend :) Don't get me wrong, they do have cronuts but it was all fruit infused and for those that knows me know that I do not do fruits. A fairly large location just like the other locations I have been. The seating area was open and inviting; the showcases of pastries were bright, clean, and everything was labeled. The pastries I selected were decent. The tiramisu was good but nothing memorable. I had a great time conversing w/ Janet instead of focusing every fiber of my being on indulging stuff I shouldn't be eating. I make friends very easily... the gym, the beach, the grocery store, work, the park, etc. but I seem to have great luck finding and sustaining great friendships through Yelp. This place is nestled inside a busy plaza during lunch. The parking lot is huge but when you have 1/4 of the corporate workforce from Silicon Valley coming here during their lunch then you'll be screwed. Come before or after that then you'll be golden. I've noticed this location runs out of cronuts and other pastries pretty early, or they don't make anymore by afternoon. Both of my after work visits resulted in no cronuts. Lucky for me, they're not my favorite. Don't get me started on pine nut bread shortages at 85C gah. I missed the French pudding glasses though. I've tried original, mango, strawberry, mocha? They're all good. Smooth pudding up top, and super sweet brown sugar syrup on the bottom. Try the top by itself and then mix, or not if you don't want it too sweet. Green tea chiffon cake slice! Light and fluffy with subtle green tea flavor garnished with simple whipped cream, white chocolate curls, and a lime wedge? Not sure what that was about, both green? Paris is quite chic when you come in. I like their high back chairs, they look super comfy. Their pastries however can be a hit or miss. I've been to several of their location, but this one seems to lack the quality of the other location. Not sure why, but their service overall is pretty good. This place also gets super busy because it is not far from The Great Mall and parking can be a challenge even with all the sports at the lot. Came here with my friends on a Saturday afternoon and was really impressed by how bright and pretty the interior of this restaurant was. I felt like I was in another city, especially since the outside of this plaza is so drab. They have a large selection of baked goods, cakes, drinks, and desserts. I ended up getting the red bean donut, strawberry cake, opera cake, and fresh berry creme brûlée. The strawberry cake here is super moist, and soft. It was a bit pricey at $3, but it was so soft and melted in my mouth. The opera cake here is delicious, there are layers of fresh cream, with a slight hint of coffee / tiramisu flavor, a layer of peanut butter ?? On the top and covered in a chocolate ganache, I would buy an entire cake for a birthday or an event. The creme brûlée was $6, but comes in a nice glass that is reusable.
