Due to a friend recommendation, I was expecting more from this bakery. The interior of this place is pretty modern. Relatively good amount of seating and usually has a long line. This bakery is relatively pricey and their iced chai latte was super milky. Barely any chai and it was practically like I was drinking milk. I don't recommend their drinks at all. Paris Baguette is good, but when there's a line I just don't bother. This time around, they had 3 flavors of cronuts (blueberry, strawberry, and mango)! So I just had to get them xD. I also grabbed a coffee danish for a friend who loved it. Their chocolate pastry was too sweet for the BF but I also grabbed him a coffee bun which he loves (similar to a Roti bun from Honeyberry). I had their almond croissant yummmms. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've got. I do recommend eating the cronuts fresh. And despite their delicious flavor, they are very oily. The oil WILL leak through the bottom of the box, so beware! Workers at this location are very friendly and they have a frequent buyer card! read more

Great concept and love the atmosphere and that it's a convenient location for us but seriously long waits, unfriendly customer service and just general bad management. We have so far been here three times and once their espresso machine was broken and another time, they ran out of coffee. Another time they ran out of napkins and when asked to refill the water dispenser, we got bad looks and it took about 10 mins for that to happen. The kids behind the counter don't look very organized which may be the reason that it sucks. Wishful it improves because it's so close! read more

If you've never been to a Paris Baguette, what can I tell you? You should go. It's an Asian-style bakery, which means it's serve-yourself. You pick up your tray and tongs and move around the store selecting the pastries you want. Lots to choose from, croissants, tapioca bread, pudding, cronuts (mix between croissant and doughnut) and just recently they started putting out their version of Kouign Aman (a puff pastry with a buttery glaze that I liken to crack cocaine). Google it if you're unfamiliar with KA and start on your journey of finding the best one in the bay area. Satura Cake in Palo Alto has a good one. There are a few locations in the bay. Each are a bit different in terms on what pastries they put out. I think this Milpitas branch might be my favorite - the seating area is pretty huge - nice place to bring your lap top and chill. Other notables: * Their pre-packaged sandwiches are bomb. I love them - cut in triangles, tuna, egg salad etc. Super fresh-tasting and made on freshly-baked whole wheat. Hard to beat. * Their cakes in the display are all winners in my opinion. Asian-style, so thankfully none of that nasty, sweet American-style butter cream junk. Just fresh whipped cream, lightly sweetened if at all. Great flavors, Mango, Sweet Potato, Green Tea and more. I've ordered whole cakes which are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Bring it to a party or an event and your peeps will love you. Worth the price in my opinion. I've been coming here for years and I'm still working through the store, exploring the pastry menu, trying to sample everything. Come on a busy Saturday morning and you'll be in heaven. My aunties and I went here on a Thursday night (6/24). We arrived around 8:35 PM. While we were eating, one worker came up to us and said they were closed and we had to leave at 9:00 pm. Mind you, 7+ people kept walking in to order and purchase and at least 3 tables have been occupied with others eating. We politely said we would go and to just give us a few minutes and he said "no we're closed". Another worker then approached and told us to leave. When I said, "yes we are. Give us a few minutes" (as we purchased a lot pastries and were scarfing it down). She then said. "No cause we need to clean". After, went to the back and so loudly and rudely raised her hands in the air and said, "DUDE THEY'RE NOT LEAVING". The same girl was literally on her phone while we were there. Even as she opened the door for us to leave. Absolutely NO manners and sort of customer service to this place. They continued to allow customers in to order but demanded for us to leave. Paris Baguette Café is similar to 85 Degree C Bakery Café and Tous les Jours Bakery where they have self serve bakery cases filled with an assortment breads and pastries while the cakes, macarons, sandwiches and coffee/espresso and cold drinks are served from behind the counter. Paris Baguette Cafe is a little more fancier decor and of modern french cafe than the other two bakeries mentioned. I had a chicken mozzarella hot sandwich there and picked up an assortment of pastries for my family to try - cream cheese donut, mango cronut, blueberry yogurt cronut, sweet potato pastry and twist pie. Great place to get birthday cakes for their aesthetic appeal. They are a few bucks pricer than Sheng Kee or Kee Wah (so high $30-40), but make for fabulous photos and happy recipients. PB also throws in candles and a cake cutter that includes matches. How convenient! I've had their tiramisu cake which is scrumptious, and their green tea chiffon cake which is good but too creamy. One of my other favorite items here is the Royal Pudding in Mango flavor. In comparing it with the Original, its more refreshing and has a better fruit flavor than the Strawberry. At $3+ for a tiny portion, its really like eating glorified creme brulee custard without the carmelization, but the cute bottles get me every time! Their cronuts are ok if you have never tried a real cronut before, like myself. Service is usually very prompt and I love the little Parisian costumes. Some stores have end of the day specials, but I am not as enamored with PB anymore to figure out if this one does. read more

I've been to my share of Paris Baguette Cafes and this particular location may be my favorite. Prior to stopping by on Tuesday, I have been looking for their Royal Pudding at other locations. It seems like whenever I try to buy them they are sold out. Lucky me, they had all the flavors on Tuesday. If it is your first time here, you will need to grab: 1) Tray 2) Wax Paper 3) Tongs Then you can begin your journey to diabeetus heaven. So many beautifully baked pastries of all sorts. At this particular location, I purchased their regular, mango, strawberry, and cappuccino royal pudding. (Don't worry, I didn't eat them all myself). I also got the blueberry and strawberry cronut that I've been seeing in my friend's pictures. OHHH and these cute little $1 berry fruit tarts. MMMMMMmmmmm. I tried their cappuccino pudding and it was soooo good. I also had the blueberry cronut and that was not bad either, just a little oily. I just really wanted to see what the hype was with cronuts. However I was disappointed in my drink... the milk to chai ratio was way off... my drink was almost completely white and just tasted like sweet milk. I'm a fan of the Cupertino location, so I was pleasantly surprised when they opened this Milpitas location. The selection of goodies is great and their sit down menu looks intriguing as well. Even though it has a nice, clean, spacious atmosphere, it still can get very crowded on the weekends. That said, the line at the register moves pretty quickly and the staff is great about packing up the pastries so that they don't get smushed if you get it to-go. read more

This particular Paris Baguette is a really nice place to hang out on a cold night. It's exceptionally spacious, there are plenty of big and small tables, all the seating is padded and cushy, and it is SO nice and toasty inside vs. the neighboring Teaspoon & Happy Lemon. Great place to grab a dessert after dinner elsewhere in this plaza. They did close a half hour earlier than their Yelp hours when I was there - 9:30pm on a weekday instead of 10pm. So watch out for that. If you need a place to hide from the cold weather, get a hot drink here! read more

I've found a new reason to like PB. Their Coffee Danish! Think a sweet coffee crunch with flaky croissant-like top, swirls into a super soft bread you can easily pull apart, with chunks of moist and light coffee bread. Yum! Also, their signature brew coffee is actually really good, maybe because in the morning a lot of people order it and it's only kept shortly before it's brewed fresh again. Not so sure about the Hazelnut one though. Check in for a chocolate twist with $5 purchase! (easy) P.s. I feel like PB gets bad reviews but people don't really know what they're disliking. More often, people just have wrong expectations for the bakery. Give the chiffon cake a try if all you're having is one attempt, you won't be disappointed for sure. read more

I've visit this store quite a few times. My family loves the pastries from here. It was a 4-5 star bakery for us until our recent visit-- The raspberry on the pastry I purchased has mold right next to the cream, which prevented me from seeing it while in the store. The strawberry next to the molded raspberry has a crumbled up dead mosquito at the base, again being blocked from the view until I picke it up and examine it closely. I have only been to this PB location once. Just like any other branches, the cafe is very nice and clean. The food on the shelves are always organized. The pans and tongs are very cleaned, too. There are also lots of tables for you to chichat with friends or even get some work done. To be honest, I just came in with some friends and I didn't get anything myself. I've had their pastries at other locations and they're pretty okay. Not too sure about this branch though. They also offer a variety of drinks from coffee to ice tea as well. I would definitely come back to try their shaved ice or snow ice. The portion looks huge and it definitely looks delicious! read more

Seeing the samples out in the open like that makes me wonder how long they've had it out and how many people have touched it. Ew. When I paid, they asked if I found everything alright. I asked for the 3$ off coupon for a cake if you order 15$ or more(which I did) and they apparently ran out. I asked if I could get some type of voucher or something written on my receipt so I could come back and buy a cake.. But they wouldn't do that either. Good place to have some decent deserts. I'm not a big fan of cheesecake but i gotta say i fall in love with their cheesecake here. The best two things they have here as far as cake goes are cheesecake and chocolate cake. Though for the chocolate cake, the small one tastes far better than the big one. I had a craving for their chocolate cake one time so i went to get it. Sadly the small one is too small and it's $9 for a small one about 4.5' diameter. So i asked for a bigger size and they gave me the biggest one they have in store, very cute decor but the taste is not the same. Less flavorful and I didn't taste the rich of the chocolate in the cake like i did with the small one. Overall this place is big and have a good selections of deserts, cakes and samdwiches. So you have to be lucky to get the table beside it. -Pastries are decent. Some are pretty good but nothing was really remarkable. -Drinks are horribly watered down and overpriced for their quality. They either need new recipes or train their employees to make them better. -No music. Actually 3 stars but who really cares about those? Oh man, my first time here and I gotta say, this place is high-class for a bakery!!! Lol the architecture was on point! Super classy with pretty furnitures...similar to a nice lounge. Their pastries were all looking delish & they were all calling my name lol I wanted the green tea sponge cake & omg it was delightful! A hint of sweetness from the whip cream but not too sweet and because it was a sponge cake it just dissolves on your tongue. The white chocolate flakes on top adds a little bit of richness to the cake itself which balances the whole thing out. I couldn't get enough! We had good experiences here when this location first opened. Unfortunately, it seems that customer service has steadily declined. Today was the last straw, and we won't be coming back to this location again. We ordered a couple of sandwiches today. My daughter really wanted the egg & ham croissant sandwich, but they were out of croissants. The issue was that they didn't tell us they were out of croissants (which was the main reason she wanted that sandwich) and proceeded to make the sandwich with a different bread, without asking if we still wanted it. The other sandwich was for my husband. It was a pastrami sandwich that was supposed to come with sauerkraut and tomatoes (according to the posted menu). Neither of those items were on the sandwich, and when he went back to ask for it, the person who made the sandwich insisted that they both were there. He stuck to his assertion, even after my husband brought back the sandwich to show that there was no produce on it. The sandwich preparer didn't even look at it, and continued to insist that everything was on there. It boggles my mind that the cashier didn't confirm with the preparer that the sandwich was NOT correct, AND that neither of them considered the SIMPLEST solution of just giving my husband -- the customer -- some sauerkraut and tomatoes, instead of arguing with him. Management should take note that their staff definitely needs some more customer service training. read more

They should change their hours opening at 7:30 instead of 7:00. I arrive a little before 7 and wait in my car til the lights inside turn on. A little after 7 the lights are still not on so I end up walking into darkness yelling "are you open?" .. all the employees question each other asking what time it is and say YES WE'RE OPEN after realizing its 7:05. Mind you, This has happened multiple times. I order a green tea latte. Gave her my debit card and wait while she stares at the screen.. presses a few buttons "it's not working......... here's your card.... don't worry about it.. it's on us" Ok thanks lady I won't worry about it but y'all need to get your store together and be more efficient. This place is a joke. I'd just never tried Paris Baguette all these years. When I finally did, I realized I haven't really missed anything. I bought 5 or 6 things - a couple of croissants and a few pastries. All of it was garbage. There was this one chocolate flavored thing (I'm forgetting the name but it was a lot like a large cupcake filled with molten chocolate inside). When I cut it open, it actually smelled like putrid meat. When I took a bite, the smell was so overwhelming, it made me want to puke. It did not smell like chocolate at all. It felt like I had shoved my head into a trash can. The rest of the stuff didn't smell but it was tasteless. I tossed it all out. I usually don't like to waste or throw food away - but all of the stuff from this bullshit place was just not palatable. The place looks very appealing. The stuff is presented very nicely. But don't get fooled by the nice presentation. It actually tastes like crap. read more
