Came down here on March 26. It was 49 degrees out, 15-25 mph winds, they had all the doors open and it was a miserable mistake to choose this place. People inside were shivering and complaining, but the doors remained open. The waiter was really awesome, he took pity on us and bought our first round. We had the lobster club, it was alright. The french fries were already cold by the time we started eating them. Aside from the waiter, the dining experience was miserable, to include the staff and manager attitude when asking for a new table or someplace warmer. read more

We sat on the patio and enjoyed a great view of the Queen Mary and the harbor. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach - between the two of us, we order a dozen oysters (they were ok - not sure why we weren't as excited about them), cup of clam chowder (very tasty), wedge salad, crab and shrimp crusted atlantic salmon and the chilean sea bass. I did not try my friends salmon dish but it looked tasty but I certainly loved my sea bass. It was flavorful, tasty and it melted in your mouth. It was a good dinner experience - we even had a visitor (see picture). All in all, I would come back to enjoy appetizers and the view. read more

Excellent venue for food and beautiful scenic views. This place was a gem when I came as a child and it still remains to be a classy spot to dine and have small gatherings. The first and most important thing that I enjoyed was the professionalism of the staff. I was scouting places to hold an event and remembered this restaurant from my childhood. When I reached out to their event manager, she was fast, friendly, and extremely accommodating. The prices are extremely reasonable for the area and really offers a great deal of value. I had a 3 course meal which includes dessert for my event and it came out marvelous. The guests had 3 choices to choose from and everything on the menu was fantastic. The quality and the attentiveness of the staff will cause me to come back and host an even bigger event here. I loved it and will definitely be back! I highly recommend...great date night, relaxing lunch spot, and ideal venue for hosting small events. read more

The service was prompt and extremely well ran for being with a large group (40 plus people). The food was delicious. I had the shrimp scampi pasta, a garden salad and creme brûlée. I was able to taste the salmon as well and it was amazing. The drinks were very good as well. And did I say that the service was great?! We had a party of 4. My grandparents wanted to take us out. we arrived 15min early to our mid afternoon reservation. They said we had to wait at the the bar. The bartender was rude and made us feel like we were bothering him. We ordered the house Bloody Mary and a margarita. The margarita was watered down with no flavor, I mean NO flavor. The Bloody Mary was average at best -no real spice , pretty basic. My grandma also ordered a bloodymary, but then quickly changed her mind (before the bartender had even took down her order in the system). When we told him she'd like to switch to an iced tea he rolled his eyes at us. We didn't want to say anything to the bartender who clearly didn't want to be at work nor took pride is what he was preparing. The table was ready and we were seated.. several tables were available making me wonder why we had to wait (so we were forced to buy drinks from the disgruntled bartender). Tacky! We asked the bartender if we could merry the bar tab into our table tab and he responded "the tab is right in front of you." He was extremely rude. Went there this evening for my birthday dinner and at first we were feeling neglected - after sitting for 25 minutes without anyone coming over to our table, we flagged down Charlene and instead of just going to find our server, she took over our table, gave us excellent service, got a heat lamp moved over to our table, and comped our group 4 drinks! I decided to go here to take my girl on a date night before we went to the Queen Mary. We went on a Sat night and it wasn't crowded at all. We got seated right away but as time went by the place started to get filled up. I would make reservations if you decide to go pass 6 PM. The hostess greeted us soon as we walked in the door and sat us a few minutes later. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a traditional steakhouse. Low lighting and big tables. The view is very nice so i would try to get a table by the window. We sat a booth that seats 4 but the table was HUGE! I wouldn't complain though I need my elbow room when i eat. After looking at the menu the restaurant serves mainly seafood and steaks. We asked about the menu and our waitress Jenn was well educated in the menu and how everything was made. We decided to get the Lump Crab Cake which was delicious. You could definitely tell the crab was fresh. We also order some drinks. I had a Parker's Ale and to me it tasted like Bud Light. My GF had the Bourbon Honey Lemonade and she says it was kind of strong but worth the money. For entrees I had the Crab Stuffed Shrimps and she had the Macadamia Crust Mahi Mahi. Both dishes were awesome! I got nothing but good things to say about the service and food about this place. The only issue I have about this place is that its super expensive. read more

Just got back from a weekend getaway to Long Beach. We went to Parker's Friday for happy hour & had dinner Sunday. Both times we had a great expirience. Service & food were outstanding. They had a great selection of apps & drinks (beers) for happy hour. Dinner on the patio was outstanding. W had a reservation at 8:15 last night. Hosts were extremely nice! Called right at 8:10 to let them know we were unable to use valet parking because it was full. We parked about a mile away and walked in. Once we arrived we were seated promptly. Out waitress showed up with three waters ‍ We were a party of four. She took our drink orders as well as our appetizers and off she went! Appetizers arrived, but no drinks and only three waters. Then two drinks arrived and we questioned about the other two. She said "oops" and went back and brought one other drink. Questioned where is the other? She returned and let us know they were out of what we wanted. Really strange service. This continued throughout our dinner. Would order a glass of wine and another drink and the drink would arrive, but not the glass of wine. Was told bar was busy. S rated my head thinking to myself, how long does it it take to pour a glass of wine vs making a cocktail? Some was really off with our waitress. The food we ordered was cooked properly and tasted fine. We had a filet, salmon, sea bass and clams. We also had shrimp cocktail, a sushi roll, chowder (strangely lacking flavor) and the garlic cheese bread. Keep in mind, this was the Saturday before Mother's Day, but honestly, I've been to this restaurant when it was much busier. There were several open tables. I love the views from this restaurant. U can look out over the water and see the water taxis and the lighthouse. Parking lot is shared with multiple other business. Take your tix and make sure to get it validated save a little money on the parking. Staff is friendly they have happy hour specials in the bar. When I have a oyster rockefeller craving I would come here. This time they were not on the menu they were trying something new grilled oysters which were ok. They don't compare to the Rockefellers. Ample seating area not a bad seat in the place. On nicer days grab a seat on the deck and enjoy the Cali weather and Lbc views. They now have queensview steak house on top read more

Iliana was the server. She brought water and didn't return. Another server, who we stopped as he was walking by took our order. I was given a menu with a steak sandwich, which I ordered. Iiana returned and said 'sorry, that was our lunch menu.' She didn't even attempt to offer a like meal. We were given the menu with the steak sandwich on it! She was dismissive and nonchalant we canceled the other order and asked for our check. I asked for a manager. It took another 5-10 minutes for one to come to our table. Yajaira attempted to be solution oriented. However, she made excuses for Iliana. It's disheartening in this day and age that servers can be so inattentive. While I looked around at other tables, I noted that Caucasian customers were promptly being serviced. I would shudder to think that because we are Black that we had this dining experience. Rude and condecending service by manager on duty on July 26th lunch hour. Due to Convid reopening restrictions, our party of 8 was not able to be sat together. So we requested that our party be split in half, 4 and 4 tables six feet apart from each other. The manager was not able to fullfill our request of splitting the party or sitting us at adjecent to each other 6 feet apart, accusing us of planning to intermingle with each other if sat anywhere close. We would have been understading given the circumstances, if it werent for the managers condecending, aggressive, accusatory tone and audible exasperated sighs as he related the information. Given his position of authority in a customer service position, we expected a better example to be set for his staff. Again, it was not what he said but his unprofessional way of handling the situation. It was my first time at Park Lighthouse and it'll be my last. And I will not be reccomending it to anyone I know. read more

Went here for our anniversary! I truly liked this place because not only is the food delicious but the atmosphere is comfortable! It's not a typical fancy restaurant atmosphere where it makes you feel uncomfortable. All the waiters and employees were extremely friendly and the service was quick. Ok. The food is delicious! My husband and I were celebrating our two year wedding anniversary this year we decided not to travel anywhere instead we spent our day on the Queen Marry and had dinner after. We were greeted upon arrival then seated. Ordered the clam chowder.... it was good. You should try it. We ordered our food then the bread and butter came in. A party of 4 sat next to us. We were Almost half way through the basket of bread. We were pretty hungry (good bread as well) The party of 4 made their order, shortly after they got their food. I started to get a little inpatient because we had been waiting far longer and our food was still to arrive. The server comes around to take the clam chowder plate away and says "your ticket is next" After some more waiting..... My husband and I are contemplating on just getting our check and walking out. This is ridiculous Then he says let's just wait, people claim this plaice is good. I go and use the restroom take my time in hopes that when I'm out the food will be there. (The party of 4 has already left) I Come back to my table still nothing. And we waited for about 15 more mins after the fact. Then my husband and I decide to ask for the check we are looking around for someone to help us. Then I get up and approach a gentlemen and say we haven't gotten our food and have been waiting for a very long time. He turned around and walked back into the restaurant and our food came right behind him. We decided to stay. Worse service! But the food is delicious. If you can get over the horrible service then you will enjoy the food and the view :) My husband got the Swordfish Veracruz style Which was flavorful and just very well balanced. I had the crab stuffed shrimp which was supposed to be wrapped in Pancetta but mine wasn't. Lol they forgot maybe? I will never know .... however it was pretty good. Food ended up changing our night around. Yet again I don't think it was acceptable And that's the reason for the 2 stars. I met one of the editors I'm interviewing here for lunch during the week. I liked this place. We ordered a sushi roll and garlic cheese bread. Their craft beer selection is about 20 taps also. The food overall wasn't anything special, but the atmosphere is really nice. We originally sat inside and then moved outside while the sun was setting. The people who worked here were really friendly with us also. Overall you're paying more for the atmosphere and ambiance than any stellar food (which it isn't) but this was enough for me. If I lived in the area, I'd come back pretty regularly. Great date spot too. read more

Celebrated our pre anniversary dinner at this amazing place. We are seated on the patio area overlooking the Queen Mary it was so breathtaking. We were given some champagne by our wonderful server, Alexandra as we are seated. She was very helpful and easy to talked to. My husband got the rib eye of course while I got the Salmon. Hubby asked for a medium with a lil pink in the middle, when it came out it was a bit well done. Our nice server asked us if the food was good. Mine was perfect but ribeye is not really what my husband was expecting luckily our awesome server took it to the back and ask the chef to re-fire another one because she said that we deserve to have a perfect meal for our anniversary, that was so sweet of her. It didn't take that long either. The manager brought out the new ribeye steak and made sure that this time it was perfect and indeed it was. Very juicy and very yummy. I made a reservation for 6:45pm. People who arrived after my partner and I were seated prior to me. When I asked the hostess why, she replied, "Oh, they had a reservation before yours." Yet their policy states that you have a 10 minute grace period and here I sit at 7:00pm waiting on a table..DO NOT COME HERE if you expect them to follow the rules, policies, or procedures they made. I've been here for a family dinner and a corporate event recently. The view and facility is pretty much awesome, it is like a real light house. The location is OK. The Shoreline Village validated parking lot seems like an unnecessary hassle that is inconsistent with the upscale experience that this should be. Plan early if you need to go to the bathroom. It's a long climb up and back from the dining room. However, it's very nice once you get there, and I enjoyed all of the historical photos. The private banquet room that we were in recently was really too small for our group of 25 or so. Service is pleasant and earnest. The open kitchen grill is certainly appealing, but the results didn't blow me away. My grilled swordfish was admittedly one of about 15 identical orders at my event, but the fish was a little dry for my taste. But maybe there's only so much that you can do with swordfish before heavy seasoning or sauces drown out the taste? read more

I've been coming to Parker's Lighthouse for years, the food is delish and the views are beautiful. My sister was in town visiting and staying nearby so we decided to stop in on a Friday for happy hour. Their happy hour menu is pretty awesome they have a variety of foo ranging from burgers to sushi. I went with the catch of the day sandwich which was salmon...my fav! I also went with the sweet potato fries and a glass of Riesling. Me and my sis had a great time catching up and enjoying the ambiance...this seems like a popular place for the after work crowd and I see why :-) The parking wasn't bad either, I believe they validate up to 2 or 3 hours...I was a little over my time but I only had to pay $1! I will definitely try to make an effort to make it back to this spot more often. read more

September 3rd I had reservations @7pm arrived 20mins early to check in. The lady that checked my group in was very unprofessional, rude, and had a nasty attitude. We reserved for outside seating and was told over the phone that they would accommodate us for our group of 7. The lady that was checking us in told us they couldn't accommodate us and put two tables together outside. After they seated us inside we noticed that they had more than 6 empty tables outside and accommodated another party by putting their two tables together after we were told they don't allow that. The service was terrible and so was the clam chowder that they brought out twice that was cold and sour. read more

I love the calamari. the first floor has a limited menu and its okay. if you go up to the 3rd floor they have kid friendly food and more things that you can order. they have good drinks some think you have to dress up to go there but i say it depends on the occasion. during the lunch hour a lot of business people are there. at night a lot of people are on dates. anything goes upstairs in my opinion. as long as you dont go looking thugged or hoochified you should fit right in. read more
