Beautiful restaurant with great service and quality food. I just finished an early dinner at Parque 1055, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the food, service, and ambiance. Growing up in Santa Paula, dining options were limited, so it's exciting to finally have a place that can accommodate large parties while offering great food and drinks. The ambiance was fantastic, with an open-concept design, lovely patio seating, and plenty of space heaters to keep things cozy. I truly hope this restaurant thrives because I consider it one of the best in Ventura County! read more

4 Stars We recently dined here and had an overall enjoyable experience. I ordered the hamburger, which was quite good -- juicy and flavorful. My only complaint was the fries, which appeared to be frozen. For a place like this, I expected something a little more special, like fresh-cut potato wedges. I think they could really elevate the meal with better fries. My wife had the short ribs, which were delicious and definitely worth trying. Her only issue was that the dish had a bit too many mushrooms for her taste. We sat on the patio, which was a great choice. The ambience was relaxing and inviting. I was initially interested in the steak but ended up passing when I learned it doesn't come with a baked potato. Not a deal breaker, but a little surprising for a steak dish. Service was friendly, but a bit disorganized. At one point, our appetizer was just sitting in the server's hands as they looked confused about where it was going -- until a waitress finally pointed it out and directed them to our table. There was also some confusion about which sides belonged to which table. These are small things that can be improved with better coordination. That said, the place is clean, the vibes are great, and it feels like it's only going to get better with time. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

Such a bummer. Since my last review I have given this restaurant 3 more chances and each time it just isn't it. I will say their drinks are good and why I have given them more than 1 chance. Which exactly why tonight we decided to go for our anniversary dinner. I saw on Instagram they have margarita flights and that sounds amazing! We arrived about 6:50 and were seated right away. The hostess then brought waters and that's where we waited for 15 minutes. Not one person said they would be right with us or even acknowledged us. So after 20 minutes of waiting we got up and walked out. Not one person even acknowledged us getting up and walking out. Sitting outside on the expansive patio was a great choice . The drinks fresh and the salmon salad was good. I also had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. So now I have been to the Parque a number of times for Drinks, Bar experience, and Happy Hour. I've sat at tables and along the Bar itself. Very casual posh environment either way. This restaurant is well staffed and the flow seems to be worked out well. A number of servers have helped us from a party of one just me up to a party of 5. Definitely well attended too! The food has been spot on every occasion. Being that I live close to the facility makes it a true treat to go in and see the crew and get my munchies on. Thank you for taking the time to think of your guests crew!! I look forward to going in again this afternoon and introducing the Parque 1055 to yet another set of my friends and clients. Food: Pickled vegetables - do not order - super boring and expensive for what you get-plus it was just not good. Calamari - good - small quantity for $20! Artichoke hearts - good but not great. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Ambience is awesome indoor or out. Great bar, and room for private events and large groups. Cocktails are excellent. No icky mixers. Fresh, clean and innovative! The staff is professional, friendly and attentive. Food is definitely well above great... portions are plentiful, excellent selections for vegetarians and meat eaters. Really appreciate the house made dressings, non greasy food, a flavor profiles. Will definitely be back with others. My friend and I were in the area and came by during their Happy Hour! The food was good, it was an interesting flavor for the salt & pepper calamari. The short rib sliders were the best, so we hope to try more soon! But the dining room had an industrial feel and they have a nice outdoor area. Our first experience at Parque 1055 did not disappoint! Our server, Simone, was exceptional, providing us with recommendations and frequently checked on us throughout the meal. I had the short ribs, my husband and our dining companion had the steak, and another diner had the chicken. The portions were ample. I didn't think I could finish the short ribs, but it was so good, I ended up cleaning my plate. The mashed potatoes that accompanied it were really yummy, too. The ambiance was good. It's a very large building and has a lot of space for diners on the patio, which looked nice, but I forgot to explore that area this time. We will definitely return!
