This is the best pasta and pizza place around the Ohio State campus area. Everything is freshly prepared and the flavors are absolutely amazing. I am from the NJ/NYC area so I know good pizza, and this pizza was pretty alright (I usually say pizza here in Ohio is pretty bad). Pizza was probably one of the best I have had in Columbus, but it doesn't even compare to what you'll get on the east coast. The meatballs are great though! I would order it again to satisfy my pizza craving, but again it didn't change my life, but was pretty good for Ohio pizza. I bet their other dishes are reasonably good. read more

Wow, how did we miss this place? We will go back. Pretty traditional Italian with some nice twists, but quality, flavor, and portion size make this a bargain! My wife started with wedding soup(cup) that was a bowl, she loved it, but couldn't finish and offered to me. I have never been a fan , but tasted , then proceeded to inhale! I got the special, manicotti in a meat sauce . Hearty, but not heavy. Nice appetizer selection and easy to select a couple to make a meal! Great wine selection too! I will repeat myself, we will be back!!! read more

Every time I am here I have an EXCELLENT meal. The meal ranges from simple spaghetti meals - - to a sophisticated lemon veal piccata. All have been delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

The food was great and the restaurant was obviously new and clean. The owners were very friendly! We were a little worried because the restaurant was empty, but it turned out to be a great decision -- it was probably just empty because people don't really know about it and it's new. The chicken parmigiana was super yummy, and we also got the tiramisu, which was also excellent. read more

Second time eating here and for the second time an excellent meal. The simple spaghetti and meatball dinner was fresh, tasty, and filling. The meatball was large, obviously homemade, and had a good amount of Parmesan in the recipe. My wife tried the buffet this time and was very happy with the selection and quality of the items offered. Tortellini with meat sauce, fresh ravioli, deep fried veggies and ravioli appetizer, meat and cheese Stromboli with a delicious marinara, and a large pepperoni pizza, salad, all for only $8.99. Highly recommend to everyone. Also, the owner and staff couldn't be nicer. Hope they're there for a good long time! read more

Food was fantastic and well-priced. If that's all you care about, it's a 5-star place (I know I'll be getting some delivery and carry out from here in the future). However, the ambiance and service were a little off on the night I went with some friends. The server seemed to not be well-trained, but that could just be due to the restaurant being so new. Also, the environment was an odd mix of casual and fancy. The tables had cloth napkins and tablecloths, and there were paintings of Italian landscapes on the wall, but there was also a TV playing sports-center and a speaker playing pop music. None of the above was truly bad, and the food more than makes up for any of the downsides. read more

Went for dinner tonight. Got the lobster bisque and baked ziti. Thought it was good, not great. Nothing outstanding and not a place would necessarily go out of my way to return to. I was hung over and craving pasta. I had it delivered to my house and it met expectations and was reasonably priced. I will go here again. Gnocchi was good, meat ravioli was good, probably wouldn't get the veal again (a little tough)...I would like to try the marsala next time as the pictures look good. read more

Pasta Villa is sooo good. I had the eggplant parmigiana. It was delicious. Everyone with me really enjoyed their meal. It took awhile but it's because I believe they cook everything too order. Great lunch buffet at a great price. Food was very good especially the ravioli and pizza. Service was outstanding! The owner and his staff were very accommodating with the buffet as we were the only ones in there. Made to order garlic bread and they offered to make us more dishes as we ate. By far the best Fettuccine Alfredo in Columbus. I have been to several Italian restaurants around town over the many years i have lived here and this place has the best Alfredo sauce, thick and flavorful. If you love good Italian food try the pasta here. read more

Unfortunately, this was a horrible meal. We waited for 50 minutes, and they got my order wrong. The pasta was not good nor was the marinara sauce. The service was terrible and many other customers seemed to be waiting for things for a long time. I would not recommend this to anyone and I won't be returning. read more

Pizza sauce and vodka sauce for pasta are good, not too sweet not too salty. The pizza/stromboli dough is terrific. Good sized portions. Hope this place sticks around. If you're looking for NY style pizza, this place is it! Giant foldable slices will keep you coming back. Plenty of other pasta dishes to choose from that are just as delicious. This is a great new location for them (formally Verdi off Rt 23N) with plenty of space inside and a nice atmosphere.
