Had such a delicious Friday lunch at Pastis in Wynwood with a work colleague. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. We started with a few appetizers including the tuna carpaccio, which was absolutely outstanding and literally melted in your mouth, steak tartare, and the true star of the show the crispy artichoke. So simple yet unbelievably good. For our entrée, we shared the steak sandwich, which was incredible... and of course I completely forgot to take a picture because we dove right in. The atmosphere, service, and food made for the perfect Friday afternoon lunch. Already looking forward to going back and finally trying their French onion soup.
Hit up Pastis for Sunday brunch and what a great time we had. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and the vibes were great on both. If it's a hot summer day or a chance of rain, def go for inside seating as the umbrella coverage isn't the best. And be sure to make your reservation on Resy. We ordered an egg breakfast and a burger with fries. Both were fantastic. They make good cocktails so, drink up. Weekend afternoons is prob the best time to come, and I'll for sure be back again.
Went here for Easter brunch today and reserved a spot on the garden patio. We had the same server as when we were there in Dec 2024 but of course he didn't recognize us haha. But he was as friendly and attentive as our last visit. I enjoyed this visit so much on the patio. It had the feel of an outdoor cafe in France (not that I've ever been there, but it was what I imagine). I had a cappuccino, and I have to say this was the real deal. It had the perfect strength and flavor. The bread we started off with was soft and was so delicious with a swipe of the butter. I ordered the French Onion soup hor d'oeuvres and my husband, who isn't a huge French onion soup fan, also loved it. I ordered pancakes which is a rarity for me, as I usually prefer savory. But these were so fluffy and perfect. I ate barely 1 1/2 bc I was so full by then (it came with 3). My daughter's French toast was delicious and really soft. My husband ordered an omelet, and I forgot to ask him how it was, but he devoured it. I also had a mimosa after my coffee. The mimosa was perfect as well. We had such a nice time here and cemented my love for Pastis. I will say that I would prob only go for lunch if I was looking for lighter fare (maybe coffee and croissant etc) or was nearby abs liked the ambiance. We live quite a ways south so I would prob save my next trip to Pastis for dinner because I keep thinking about our last visit. Also, someone near us had ordered a dish with garlic that smelled incredible.
I haven't written a review in a long time, but our dinner last night was worthy of one. Wow. It was Valentine's Day, and on a Saturday, so I was terrified to eat out because the food and service tends to lack with the overwhelming demand. But.....I was extremely surprised by everything. My martini was perfect, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We started with oysters and steak tartare for appetizers. Both were exceptional, I will crave that tartare for a while. Then we shared the skirt steak frites with a side salad. I can't even tell you what our favorite bite was because every single dish, yes even the side salad, was just perfect. The server was so attendant and kind. I don't think my water glass was ever below halfway. The restaurant is beautiful, dimly lit and decorated gorgeously. I felt like I was back in Paris with just the perfect touch of Miami (hello loud music and conversations). I could not recommend this restaurant more. Expectations were blown out of the water. Will definitely be going back.
Pastis is a love language only few know how to speak, and when I say that I'm talking most specifically about their Spaghetti Limone. I could write poems about this dish. Needless to say, Pastis has such a special place in the hearts of all lucky enough to try it. Extremely versatile, perfectly accommodating any date, family gathering, or even lunch; it truly is a hit in any scenario. Other star plates include their American Burger, remaining on the list of top Burgers in the city despite the burger scene expanding as quickly as it has; as well as their steak tartare, and their brunch menu is also worth noting with their delicious Eggs Benedict & Steak Frites. The ambiance is incredibly photo-worthy and one we will see on your IG feed without a doubt after a visit.
We really enjoy Pastis and have been there a couple of times now, and it's always been a big hit. From the drinks all the way to dessert, everything has been consistently excellent, we honestly haven't ordered a single thing we didn't like. The food and drinks feel well thought out and executed, which makes each visit just as enjoyable as the last. The service has always been great as well, no complaints. It's also a great spot for a date night. The atmosphere is lovely, especially in the evening, with beautiful ambient lighting that sets the mood perfectly. The space feels lively and buzzing, yet still cozy and intimate at the same time. Overall, Pastis is a place we're always happy to return to and would highly recommend for a special night out or a relaxed, memorable meal.
Seldom times do you visit a restaurant in Miami that feels like you're somewhere else in the world and this joint did that for me even though it's in the middle of the Wynwood madness. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're somewhere in the coast or south of France. Aesthetically speaking, the ambiance and decor is off the charts...every detail in the decor was done tastefully and with intention. I sat at the bar, got a glass of Chardonnay and opted for these dishes...steak tartare, cheeseburger and creme brûlée for dessert. Steak tartare is a 20/10, arguably one of the best I've had in the city but that cheeseburger became one of the best in town. I don't know if it's the secret sauce or that fluffy sesame bun or the perfect blend in the patty but I went into foodgasm when I took the first bite...OMG. Second visit I got to try the escargot and that was definitely one of those dishes that I would come back for time after time. The French would be proud of this dish for sure. The creme brûlée was good but not memorable. The service, however, was just as you'd expect from a fine establishment such as this one, REMARKABLE.
My friends and I recently checked out Pastis, a French restaurant in Miami, and honestly, it's a really cute spot--with both indoor and outdoor seating. We dined outside, and the atmosphere is cozy, almost like sitting on a little European terrace. Charming and relaxed. Service was a bit hit-or-miss. The reception was welcoming, but once we were seated, it sometimes felt like we were a bit of a bother. The bread basket took 20 minutes to arrive, and even though we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, there wasn't much acknowledgement--other tables were sung to, but not us. While I can't say for certain, it did feel like the service we received was different from other tables, and it seemed influenced by the fact that we were the only black people in the restaurant. It's not about the bread or dessert itself, but about consistent, attentive service for all guests. We started with onion soup and burrata. The onion soup was rich, savory, full of flavor, and so comforting--definitely a great way to start the meal. The burrata was fresh and creamy, though we had to ask for baguettes to go with it, and it took a while for them to come, which left us waiting to fully enjoy the dish. I tried the Miami Mango mocktail (passionfruit & mango puree, lemon, grenadine, tonic). It was very tart and leaned more toward passionfruit than mango--not my favorite, but if you like tart drinks, it might be for you. For mains, we had: Gratin au Macaroni with Ham Spaghetti Bolognese Chicken Paillard with Almonds & Picholine Olives Linguine Vongole Boeuf Bourguignon with Frites The Chicken Paillard was seasoned but the combination of the salty olives and the acidity of the lemon made the dish extra salty.The salad was fresh but topped with parmesan which is also salty didn't help balance it. If you order this, go with mashed potatoes for a better balance. The macaroni and ham was creamy with a good texture but also on the salty side. The Bolognese was fresh, but nothing spectacular. The highlight dish was definitely the Boeuf Bourguignon with mashed potatoes-- tender, buttery, and basically melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were light, airy, and creamy--truly a perfect combo. If you try one thing, make it this. For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée, which had a perfect caramelized top and thick, creamy texture. Flavor-wise, it was a little mild--more milky than rich--and could have had more depth. Parking is easy: street parking is available, or valet is $25 if you're not a member. Overall, Pastis has a charming vibe but a few overly salty plates, inconsistent service, and slightly overpriced menu items keep it from being perfect. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, and I have to note that the way our table was treated felt noticeably different compared to others, which was disappointing.
William was our server and we ordered the pancakes which are extremely large and can easily be split between two people. The yogurt berries and granola without granola because we were informed it contained nuts. A cheeseburger, the chicken paillard which is also served with nuts so be sure to mention if you have an allergy. Lastly the 12 piece oyster that were served fresh with dips and lemon but we had to request rock salt and the Le Grand Aioli which was also light yet filling. The Le Grand is served with asparagus, boiled egg, radishes and potatoes all chilled with smoked salmon and shrimp. The smoked salmon didn't have a Smokey flavor to it but it was delicious when dipped in the olive tapenade and other dips served with the platter. The atmosphere is quite nice and the bread is served with pastis whipped butter and/or olive oil upon request. I suggest trying both!
I have to start with the service because it was exceptional. Our waters were never empty, the suggestions given guided us, spread good energy, and he genuinely cared. I ordered the spaghetti limone and added chicken, my mom got the same thing but added shrimp, and my sister got the salmon entree. All were settling our cravings and we truly enjoyed the food. To end, we ordered the dark chocolate mousse to finish and it was exquisitely good. Rich, yummy, and everything you could want in a sweet treat! Side note: the way this restaurant looks makes you feel like you are in France!
I have only had brunch here but must say food wise and price wise Pastis is a dramatic upgrade from Sadelle's. I ordered a toasted bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Good sized bagel and high quality nova lox (vs thinly sliced shavings at Sadelle's). Added a screwdriver to go with my meal and saved room for an excellent vanilla bean crème brûlée. Overall, an excellent meal and I look forward to coming back for dinner and trying their steak frites. read more

Great menu, deep wine list, and exceptional bar. Both dinner and brunch? C'est magnifique! We tried the French onion soup, and the trout, on our first visit, along with some wonderful oysters. In our second visit we had the butter shrimp salad and the lamb shank. All was perfectly prepared. The warm shrimp, with a hint of saffron was spectacular. The bar offers exceptional craft cocktails paired well with the food offerings. Valet parking is the same price as the overpriced Winwood garages, so VALET! Definitely a discovery worth finding yourself. Reservations are highly recommended. Miami has already discovered this hidden gem! read more

Wow! I had a spectacular time at Pastis Miami. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambience really reminded me of being back in Paris, and then the food was incredible. Reservations are a must and once you arrive, you have the selection of dining inside or outside. We chose inside and had a great view of the restaurant. We promptly order chocolate croissants to get started, and then our entrées. I had the hanger steak Frites, and my friend ordered the Gruyère omelette. Overall, the steak was incredible. Cooked to perfection. I ordered it medium rare as everyone should. I would highly recommend Pastis to a friend or foe. Rating: 5/5 read more

Pastis is a beautiful new restaurant in Wynwood & another NYC transplant to our city. My family chose to celebrate Mother's Day brunch here yesterday and we had a great time. First things first, while the outdoor courtyard is absolutely beautiful it was so horribly hot, I could barely contain myself. For a Miami restaurant, you should have umbrellas readily available. I literally sat there with sweat dripping down my body the entirety of the meal. My son had asked if we could be moved inside but they said they were fully booked. Totally understandable until i saw them move 2 other families at various times throughout brunch but whatevs. Didn't want to be the asshole on Mother's Day so I just sat & sweated. Our waiter, Will m, was adorable & super friendly. We loved him! Delicious bread & butter was devoured by the table while we looked over the menu which really had something for everyone! We decided to do a lil' bit of everything: - Escargots - Tuna Carpaccio - Salade Verte - Scallop Crudo - Shrimp Cocktail - Crispy Artichokes - Oysters Everything was presented beautifully & absolutely delicious! Loved it all, including my super refreshing cocktail, the Spritz Royal (aperol, grapefruit cordial, lemon, san pellegrino). Since we went relatively light on brunch we ordered a few desserts to share: - Profiteroles (vanilla ice cream, bittersweet chocolate) - Dark Chocolate Mousse - Banana Mango Sorbet and their special Mother's Day dessert: - Raspberry Macarons with Chantilly Creme, Raspberry Coulis & fresh Raspberries. Almost too beautiful to eat! Lovely time with delicious food albeit the horribly punishing & inescapable direct sunlight & atrocious heat. I truly hope they invest in more umbrellas, fans & mist machines because they need it. This is not NYC, cherie! read more

Finally experienced Pastis ! And if was a dream come true, after hearing so much about it, I couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype, and I can confirm without a doubt that it absolutely did. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was charming and inviting. Not a single empty table , and it was 9:00 pm on a Friday night ! There was not one dish we got that we did not like , everything was bursting with flavors. However, the only hiccup was the steak, which arrived slightly undercooked for our liking. But, the moment we mentioned it to our waiter, they handled it with impeccable grace and brought out a perfectly cooked replacement in no time. That's what I call exceptional customer service, and it truly elevated our dining experience at Pastis. The drinks we're on the small side but delicious none the less. Ok let's start with all the good. Nice open space dinning experience, very friendly staff. Seems like one of Miami's hot spots. Valet parking is available and I like the mediterranean and European blended decor. I have been to Pastis a total of three times and each time they were accommodating without reservations and the staff were great. Now to the food, oh the food, the Scallops Curdo is the most delicious thing to me, very creative with the passion fruit paring I love this dish immensely truly their star. The Steak Tartare is also quite delicious. The Duck confit isn't too bad at all. Everything else even not picture here is way too salty, I need the chef to break up with the salt, let it go, unhand it, don't even use it, why are the main dishes so salty. The deserts were good too. Anyways in the future maybe I will retry some main dishes but for now I will visit for the Hors Doeuvers, drinks and ambiance. read more
Fabulous place for lunch especially on their beautiful outdoor patio. Came with my fiancé on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away and greeted by our friendly waiter. We opted for a few classics (French onion soup and escargot) to start and I was really pleased with the flavor and presentation. For mains we had duck and the omelet and it was all very delicious I wish there was more of the duck. Definitely a fabulous spot can't wait to be back! read more

For years, I've heard so many great things about Pastis NY. Now, it made its way to Miami in the heart of Wynwood. I had high expectations and this place didn't disappoint. As I walked in, I felt the energy. It was busy, loud but comfortable. The front-of-the-house staff was kind enough to direct me to the bar while I waited for my group. Of course, everyone was on "Miami" time so I was hanging out at the bar for a while which I didn't mind at all. I ended up at the bar inside cause the outdoor bar was packed. I got a nice stool at the end of the bar and ordered a Gin Martini. It was very good, especially the quality of the olives. When the rest of my party arrived, the hostess directed us to our table outside. The weather was gorgeous so it was the perfect spot. I ordered a bunch of appetizers to try starting with the Escargot, Steak Tartare then Onion Soup. Everything was amazing. The snails were cooked perfectly, the tartare was very fresh and the soup was extra cheesy. Yum Yum Yum! I also had a bite of the steak sandwich from my friend. It was pretty tasty. The steak was juicy. For my main course, I ordered the Trout Amandine. Again perfectly cooked. Fish was moist and flay topped with lots of almonds. Just the way I like it. Another friend ordered the Moules Frites and she said it was also very good. Our overall experience at Pastis was pleasant. My family (Mom, Dad, Brother and Myself) went to Pastis for Mother's Day. The restaurant was quite busy but since we had a reservation we were seated immediately. Our server was Micheal and he was FANTASTIC. He was extremely attentive and went the extra mile to make my mother feel special on Mother's Day. As well, he must've had at least 6 other tables but he didn't miss a beat. He was there for water and drink refills just as we needed them and was always checking to see if we needed anything else. The food was great, eggs cooked perfectly. Now I will say the prices are a bit high but that's to be expected for Wynwood. All in all it was a great experience and I would go again! read more

Family and I decided to come here to celebrate father's day. It was amazing! It has beautiful scenery, and both inside and outside seating. We went for brunch, and the food was great! Very fresh! I had a quiche for the first time, and i think that will prob be the best one i ever have lol. The service was good too. It might be a bit pricey, but the quality and quantity make up for it. 100% would recommend for a nice occasion. read more

As someone who's never been to Paris, Pastis Miami is how I imagine some restaurants look there LOL menu has a huge selection, server was very attentive and we didn't wait too long to order or for our food despite being a group of 8. Got the steak sandwich with fries, while the BF got the French toast. All dishes were pretty hefty portions, I think each one of us ended up taking a box to go. Drinks were great but FYI the espresso martini is on the sweeter side. Regardless - really cute and great spot to check out! read more

Another exciting new york favorite that made its way down to miami! We booked a reservation as soon as they opened up. You definitely feel like you have been transported from wynwood when you walk in. The patio is spacious and enclosed and the inside is perfectly cozy. Our waiter was just the right amount of attentive. Not too overbearing but there when we needed him. The steak was perfectly cooked, albeit a little fatty for my liking. The tuna tartare was a healthy portion and very delicious. We also had the escargot and the french onion soup. Best escargot I ever had and you need to dip your leftover bread into all that sauce!!!! The french onion I would skip. The star of the show was their house made mayo/aioli for the fries and the bread and butter!!! The creme brulee was perfect and the chocolate mousse very decadent and a nice end to the dinner. This place is not very budget friendly but so tasty if you want to splurge! read more
I came for dinner on a Saturday night and sat in the courtyard which was very cozy and had a good energy as it was buzzing with people sitting at tables, standing by the outdoor bar, and waiters walking by. The inside was also decorated very cute very upscale Parisian cafe. Our server was friendly enough and attentive but service was on the slow side- to be fair they seemed pretty busy. They give you a bread basket with butter to start but the bread was very mediocre. Would have been better if warm. We had escargot and steak tartar for appetizers. Both very rich and tasty! The bread they gave with the escargot was so good like a crusty baguette. I used that for the tartar instead of the crostini. I also had a pickle martini which was very interesting- very briney and oniony. For the main we split the filet and frites which were good but definitely not worth the price. The fries were like elevated McDonald's fries and the steak was cooked well but nothing special. I couldn't have the sauce but my boyfriend said it was very flavorful. They had an extensive wine list and offered carafes of wine which is convenient if you don't want a whole bottle. Overall this is a nice place to have a meal but don't think I would need to come back. Maybe to try their brunch or something because of the cute ambiance. read more

I was interested to check this place out after hearing all the buzz and seeing many people on IG tagging the spot. Overall I was impressed with the location. Upon walking into the restaurant, I felt like I was in Europe and far from Miami. The space was huge! The outdoor terrace was packed with people even though it was a Tuesday night. Inside was just as busy. We didn't make a reservation-- we showed up around 7:45 and were told we could be seated at 8:15 so we waited by the bar. By the way the martinis were great and the bartender was so friendly! For dinner, we had the crispy artichokes, escargots, chicken paillard, and trout amandine. To be honest, the entrees didn't blow us away. They were just okay. The appetizers were probably the highlight for me. The waitress could also have been a bit more friendly and engaging. It did feel like she was just recommending the most expensive items on the menu to us and was just interested in her tip. That said, every other worker I encountered provided great service! Overall, I love the spot for the ambiance and to grab drinks and a snack! read more

This was my first time trying Pastis. The interior of the restaurant was really lovely and intimate. The outside was cute and quaint. The service was decent nothing extraordinary but not the worst either. The food was delicious however a bit overpriced. I would HIGHLY recommend the crispy artichokes as they were packed with flavor. The burrata was delicious and tasted fresh.The ribeye was good and the fries were crispy. The crème brûlée was a great way to end this delicious meal. I must say that the chocolate milkshake was probably the best milkshake i've ever had so I definitely recommend getting a milkshake! They have a valet but I found it pretty easy to get street parking during the week, parking on the weekend may be a bit more difficult. Overall a place worth trying out at least once. read more

It took me a while to get around to writing about this one but it had to be done because Pastis was excellent! I actually went in in August for Miami Spice lunch and boy was it worth it. Pastis is very nice and the service was excellent. I was so happy to be sat right away. We had reservations, but the place was very busy and I find that sometimes you have ti wait at places even with a rezzy. At Pastis this was not the case. For app I decided to get the escargot. They were delicious! Just make sure to wait a little so you dont burn your mouth like me, but obv that was my fault . As an entree I got the limone pasta and it is one of the simplest most delicious pastas I have ever had in my life! The flavors and seasonings are just right and leave you wanting more although the portions are perfect. For dessert we got creme brulee and chocolate mousse and both were exquisite. I really really enjoyed my time here and cannot wait to go back to try out more stuff. Pastis is very welcoming and just had positive vibes. During the cooler months sitting in the outside part of the restaurant should be wonderful! read more

Pastis rates high in delightful. The brick facade opens up to a lovely courtyard for its outdoor dining, tables are situated under pretty red umbrellas and trees. It really is more reminiscent of being somewhere in the Mediterranean as opposed to Wynwood. My party and I made reservations for a Wednesday night. The place was humming with customers inside and out. Our waiter saw us quickly and we began ordering right away. We had the yummy escargot and the very cheesy onion soup to start. The soup was so filling and a hefty portion I probably could of done with just ordering that as my entree. For my main I had the linguine vongole. It was buttery and garlicky with a good amount of clams. Definitely would recommend read more

Food is cooked well and good but TOO SALTY. Literally everything not raw is overly salty. My chicken paillard would have been so good with less salt. It didn't even need it because the olive topping is already briny. My friend's spinach was pretty inedible. The burrata was pretty good but not milky enough for me. read more

Amazing food and service the chef executes it perfect every time! I've eaten here 4 times and every experience is of the highest quality. The escargot is a must, the garlic and oil it comes with makes it one of a kind. The cheeseburger is also a work of art, try anything and everything! The steak, desserts and brunch is also great. The problem with Pastis is the high expectations set up by the difficulty in getting a reservation. It is a perfectly good restaurant, but it has definitely been overhyped. I had the gruyere omelette. It was nice and fluffy. The potatoes were delightfully crispy. However, it was also pretty unremarkable. No unique flavors or textures. I would recommend the Rouge Fumee, a lovely smoky mezcal cocktail. I will say the decoration is gorgeous. Definitely 'gram worthy. However, the acoustics are awful. My waitress brought me the wrong food because she couldn't even hear me properly. So, I don't suggest sitting inside. If you come to Pastis, have a drink at the bar. Came to celebrate my birthday with some girlfriends and loved the restaurant. The waiter was super friendly and the service was great. Quaint and chique ambiance with an indoor/outdoor seating. We ordered steak, chicken, fish and a lobster salad. The portions we generous and every bite was delicious! I will definitely come back here. read more

Not much. They have cheese plates and some green salad but French food is mostly meat and fish. The desserts are great!
