I brought my grandmother here for a late dinner after seeing Hamilton at the Adrien Arts Center which was only a few minutes away. The staff was very welcoming & accommodating, they stayed engaged with us throughout the night. The ambiance & the food was wonderful. We started with the Crispy Artichokes that came with lemon & garlic aioli. I ordered a cocktail called MANGUE À TROIS, it was delicious & came with a side of champagne that you can add to your cocktail after every few sips which was fun. For entrees I ordered the cheese burger to split with my grandmother since she wanted to try it & she ordered the Chicken Paillard which she loved, shout out to our waitress for the recommendation! The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. We loved the fish with almonds the best ! We came early before our reservations and sat by the bar and ordered a pitcher of wine. Great service at the bar. Unfortunately our table wasn't ready for another hour past our reservation which is why I'm not giving it a 5 stars. The service was definitely on the slow side here and the restaurant didn't do much to make it up. Luckily the food and ambience takes the 4 stars. read more

Beautiful new French restaurant in Wynwood. Great ambiance with 2 bars, one inside and the other outside. Definitely make a reservation because we went on a Tuesday night, and it was full. For appetizers, we had the escargot, and steak tartare which were amazing. For entrees we had the New York Strip which was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The special of the day was the Dorade Royale in Papillote. This dish was amazing! We also ordered the moules frites which very good but the portion was small. I would give this place a 5 if only the service would have been better. It was extremely slow. 3 of us got our appetizers after waiting for a while, and still the steak tartare arrived after we all finished and after we asked the manager and our waiter about it. Pastis Miami is so good, I've already been twice to brunch since they opened in May! This is a hot new spot here in Miami. The restaurant is well established in New York City and has been featured on the show Sex and the City (the booths in Miami look just like the NYC ones). The food and options are spot on. Everything is delicious and high end quality. Vibe is definitely French chic with a Wynwood twist. Recommend the crepe complete, really tasty and not your usual brunch food found in Miami. The French onion soup is also the best I've had. Service is very good. I can't wait to come back for their dinner menu next time. read more

Finally made it to Pastis Miami. When you enter the courtyard, you forget where you're at....it's beautiful! We had cocktails at the outside bar...I had a St. Tropez Spritz which was lovely and hit the spot...it was a very hot Miami afternoon. I was more impressed with the outdoor experience than the indoor experience. The food was great, Sofia our server was fantastic and the wine was delicious. Escargot...delicious, Branzino...soft and light tasting, French Onion Soup....WOW...must have! The Profiteroles were a party in your mouth...great way to finish the meal! So good I came twice in one week... customer service was awesome, the hostess was so welcoming and had a big smile. My bartender AC I beleive was incredibly attentive and gave me awesome reccomendations like the the leeks, wow so unexpectedly good. The first couple of bites were incredibly lemony/vinegary/Briney but the flavor got better with each bite. It just caught me off guard at first, but could possibly be toned down. It was the first time in a while that I was hesitant to try something new and actually ended up loving it. I also got the pasta with clams. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The portion size was a little small, but I left full regardless. Again I didn't anticipate for the flavor to be such a strong salty/lemon but it does work well together for a rich and flavorful bite. Later in the week I brought my mom here. We came for the dinner menu but got there to early and had to order from midday. A little dissapointed about that, but it worked out because I got to try plates I may have not ordered otherwise. I shared the omelette, and it was delicious. Fluffy and cheesy. The smashed potatoes it came with were perfectly crispy. My burger was delicious, came with two thin patties and a cheesy center. I try to avoid ordering burgers at restaurants, but I have no regrets. My mom got the chicken palliard, she felt it had too much vinegar but that might've been the olives. It does seem it may have too much brine in general. I will definitely be back, everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious and I really appreciated the attention to detail. My only complaint would be that someone let me have two baskets of bread to the face!! But I forgive y'all. When food consistently tastes that good, it helps me feel less scared to try new menu items and things I've never had. I love that, thank you!! read more

Just phenomenal. I've never been to Pastis NY, but I'm a big Balthazar fan and this is the same energy - feels like you've just stepped into a gorgeous but approachable brasserie on a random street in Paris. The garden terrace and entire venue are just beautiful and authentic. Went with no reservation on a packed Saturday night and they were able to seat us in about 40 minutes. Server was kind and everything we ordered came out quickly. We to Brasserie Paris in Paris last year (not the same family of restaurants) and it was very reminiscent of the vibe. The steak tartar, French onion soup, and scallop crudo stole the show. Also ordered the steak frites and the linguine vongole which were both pretty solid. Drinks were good and service was on point. Our server was very prompt with every request. Different vibe for the area which is cool. Most restaurants in the wynwood area I feel like are this new school style, expensive sushi, artsy decor (which is fine). Pasti's is different. Doesn't even feel like Miami in there. Lovely place with excellent service. The drinks, or rather the one drink I fell in love with was great. A nice balance of flavor and good looks, the Eiffel Sour. My friend and I arrived very late, so we decided to order and share rather than having full on meal. The salmon carpaccio was ok, the ravioli were very good, just the right touch and amount. The duck however, was disappointing. There was barely any meat on that leg and it was chewy not crunchy. However, the place and service are promising, I did love the cocktails, would love to return for a proper dinner or brunch. I did eye the onion soup of a neighbor at the bar and it did look good she also recommended the burger, but as I said, I must go back and try. Came on a Saturday afternoon, had no issue getting a table. It was a bit busy but not too crowded. We sat inside as outside was too humid. We decided to start with some apps, got the clams & oysters. Both were fresh and very flavorful. We moved onto entrees in which I had the croque monsieur (but madame style) which is basically an egg on top. It was very tasty and very filling. My wife opted the breakfast crepe, in which she liked a lot. The best thing we had was the escargot! So good! We both said we could have had another round. The service was good, took a bit of time for our drinks to start but otherwise the food came timely. My wife liked the atmosphere, she went on about some restaurant setting from Sex in the City. I didn't have a clue. Either way a good spot to check out if in Wynnewood. As for price, it's a bit pricey for lunch. We spent $200 plus another $40 for tip. So all in, $240. Yes, lunch. We had a few apps and two entrees and a couple of drinks. Again, pricey for the hipster crowd that hangs out in Wynnewood. read more

Had a wonderful time here! We came here as they are dog friendly, even indoors, on a Saturday without a reservation. This place is definitely popping, but they were able to squeeze us in. We loved the upscale, French bistro vibe and the outdoor area was gorgeous, like a French home garden / square. As of late, I think its hard to find a restaurant where every single dish is amazing. Pastis surprised me, and usually I would pass on French cuisine. The place itself has a very pretty setting, albeit it was very loud. For starters we had the Burrata, the Escargot, and the steak tartar. All three were incredibly delicious. The Burrata was fresh and tangy. The escargot, perfectly cooked, and it was some people in our party's first time trying! I tend to skip steak tartar, as its just not my favorite, but it was so good as well. For mains, 2 burgers were ordered (a friend highly recommended), a filet, and a lamb shank. Once again, everything was perfect. For dessert our server recommended the Profiteroles and the Strawberry Cassolette. The Cassolette blew our minds. I will definitely be coming back. read more
