The Highs: The filling in the curry chicken patty was tasty. The person serving it was friendly and we received the patty quickly. It was a convenient snack to share on our way to dinner. The Lows: I typically prefer a flaky crust on my patties. This did not have a flaky crust at all. It was still pretty good though. The In-Between: we stopped by while we were on our way looking for a ramen spot. It was a good experience overall. We shared a curry chicken patty. They have outdoor seating around the spot. Quiet hidden spot right outside the quiet Ferry building that people normally miss as people rush by mostly exploring the inside food hall of the ferry building and skipping a place like this over the more glamorous shops and eateries inside. If you want something unique like Jamaican quick cuisine, just grab a Pattie can be spinach like mines or choose a meat like beef or chicken curry. Order it and take it to go and explore the rest of the ferry building and have a seat by the waterfront bench and enjoy the bay and views of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and ships. I discovered this place from a Yelp Event I went to a few years ago where we sampled some Pattie's and had a 21st Amendment beer and now I came back to it now. The history of the location is that the inspiration behind Peaches Patties is their mother whose nickname is "Peaches" made great delicious homemade Jamaican beef patties and the family wanted to share it with everyone. Tried the chicken curry patty plate with rice, jerk sauce, lentil stew, salad. The only meh thing was the salad, everything else was delicious and perfectly spiced -- not too sweet, spicy, and flavorful. The rice with beans was a standout, I could have eaten just that with the jerk sauce and been completely satisfied. There is such a dearth of Jamaican food in the bay area anything is welcome, but this is legitimately great for a lunch spot. (I have lived in areas with larger Jamaican populations before and lots of Jamaican restaurants). They supposedly have oxtail stew on Saturdays but I have not tried that yet. read more

Came here for lunch with some girlfriends. It is a outdoor kiosk that you order at the window and pickup when they call your name. There are about 4 tables that seat 2 that are covered/ sheltered and another 4 tables on the sidewalk. We all got the jerk chicken plate at it was so delicious! It came with a drum and thigh over rice and beans, side salad and plantain bananas. All of us enjoyed it and couldn't even finish the plate but I'm sure my husband could have finished it off. It was just the right amount of spicy coming from someone who is spicy sensitive which I'm sure spice lovers would say not spicy but flavorful. I was catering for a smaller group than their website would cater to and had trouble reaching them over the phone, so I went over the day before and they took my order. We got Beef, Chicken, Mushroom, Spinach, and Lentil patties and they were all amazing. The lentil one especially blew me away. The pastry was also always so crumbly and delicious. Came to San Francisco when they had farmers market, we made the mistake of getting empanadas from another vendor. Wife likes Jamaican patties so she wanted to order some. The crust was perfectly flaky and the inside was extremely delicious and addicting. I had to tell the employee the patties were so freaking delicious. Flash Forward a couple hours, we're looking for someplace to eat and we ended up getting burgers thinking that was the place that smelled good. As soon as we came out my wife is lagging and I was trying to find out why she was so slow, and she was standing next to peaches Patty's and that's where that delicious fragrance came from. We had to order some patties to take back home. I will note that these patties do have a small kick, but they are extremely addictive and they taste good when you warm it up at home. As I write this review I was trying to steal a bite of a patty, but wife refuse to give me anything more then a nibble. I did not like Jamaican patties previously, and I still don't but I will only eat Jamaican patties from Peaches patties (trader Joe's patties are pathetic compared to here) The spice and fragrance in their patties are def worth trying. read more

Located outside the ferry building. Quick pick up & go. Patties are pretty good in size. Very filling. Ordered the beef & chicken curry. Which it had cheese in the patties like they do in Jamaica. Very good & flaky crusty. Fillings were good, spiced well. Ironically, I really couldn't taste the difference between the beef & chicken haha, but both were good. I've always visited this location in person. I've only tried the vegetarian options and they were delicious. I've had both the spinach and mushroom patties. My friend really liked the lentil patties and every time I've tried to order them they were sold out after 4 pm so go early if you want those! Finally got to try Peaches Patties! I've heard so many good things about their food and it's all true. I'm currently dog sitting so it was great that this place is outside the Ferry Building. It's a small outdoor space, with an about 6 tables and three bar tables for standing. I got their patty meal, which is one patty of your choose, rice/beans, plantains, and sautéed veggies. It was the perfect lunch! I chose the curry chicken patty that was literally straight from the oven. I waited 10mins for it (there's usually patties ready but unsurprisingly it was probably the more popular patties). It was worth the wait! The patty had a thin, flaky crust. The curry chicken was packed with flavor! The level of spice was perfect - definitely present but not overpowering. And the minced chicken was moist. The rice and beans had a gentle coconut flavor. The sautéed veggies were delicious! They balanced the flavorful chicken well without being bland. And they were tender so they still had a good bite to them. The smell is insane when you're walking by, if the scent of Caribbean spices doesn't drag you in, well, I'm not sure what to say! We ordered the spinach and the beef patty for ourselves and our order came out to our table right next to the order window. It was super fast and came with extra hot sauce for adding onto the patties. The hot sauce, btw, is really good, super sour and vinegary, and just enough heat to pack a punch but not be overwhelming. I used most of mine on the spinach patty, while my partner used just a bit as he found the beef extremely well seasoned and didn't want to lose that flavour. The spinach patty is good, but definitely not as intensely seasoned and spiced as the beef (hence the hot sauce really complemented it). My partner found the beef patty to be very rich and delicious. We both enjoyed our food and at the same time, we were extremely jealous of the table next to us that got the stew. I've seen this place in passing and even recommended it to my colleagues for lunch in years past. The opportunity to try them finally came to me when they popped up at a corporate event, yay! There were 4 options available -- beef, chicken, spinach, and.... mushroom?! I've never seen mushroom before, so that definitely piqued my interest. But mushroom isn't my most favorite thing in many cases, so I opted for the spinach one. And I gotta say... it was nothing short of delicious. It was everything I could've hoped for -- flaky, flavorful, and I was sad when it was gone. I should've taken the opportunity to try more, but time flew and I just didn't get to circle back.
