This place always hits the spot. When I order online, my order is always exactly what I paid for; I'm never missing items, unlike with most other restaurants that offer online ordering. Whenever I go in to eat, they are always super friendly and quick. The restaurant itself is also really cute and intimate feeling. This is the only Thai food restaurant we will order from. We finally found our Thai restaurant! A variety of dishes, the Fried Sea Bass is light and on a bed of delicious veggies. The shrimp curry with pineapple coconut has a light broth we both sipped with the serving spoon! It's cozy but plenty of small tables that can be pushed together for a group. It's only been open two weeks but they've figured out how to run the kitchen and the service is responsive. Go! read more

We got the tamarind sea bass, crab pad Thai and the papaya salad. The fish was disappointing, it was deep fried and on a bed of veggies. There was nothing tamarind flavored about it, there was some jelly on top, I suppose that was supposed to the be the tamarind, but it was just sweet. Wasn't a fan of the pad Thai with the crab in it. I came here around August 2020 for some take out food The food was good! I wasn't sure what I was going to get. My friend & I waited almost 45 min to get our food, so we just walked about Old Town till it was ready. The noodles, soup, and rice were spot on. Came here on a rainy day and it really hit the spot! It's a small, cute place with a modern and minimalistic interior. Nice place to come for an intimate lunch or dinner, not a place for a huge group. My father and I shared tom yum shrimp, pad see ew, and pearl green curry. The tom yum soup was amazzzing. Out of all the Tom yum soups I've had, this one really stood out. I'll go back just for the soup. The pad see ew was a winner for me as well. They didn't skimp out on the beef or on the noodles. It also didn't taste like they dumped a bunch of oil in it the way other Thai places do. On the other hand, the pearl green curry was ok. The Tom yum and pad see ew were so flavorful that once I tried the curry, it had a subtle taste. The service was great here too. They left a water vase on our table but the server would always refill our glasses for us. She was attentive and nice. I'll definitely come back on another rainy, gloomy day. read more

This was such a surprisingly great experience! Surprising because it's so small & off the beaten track, but upbeat, stylish plus fantastic Thai cuisine! Being originally from the East Coast, we love soft shell crabs which no one here knows quite how to prepare. These were plump, cooked to perfection and delicious. The pad Thai noodles were unbelievable. Everything was spiced perfectly and they served hotter sauces on the side. Our new favorite restaurant for sure. My husband and I are glad we stopped in here :) I usually leave reviews via Google, but this place is so new they're not even on Google Maps yet. TLDR: great food + reasonable prices + warm hospitality I was especially happy with the garlic chicken--the meat was tender and flavorful without being too saucy, and the veggies were fresh and well-cooked (especially the cabbage, which was actually crisp instead of sad and limp). Along with the side of rice (which came with it), there was more than enough food. The Thai tea was a sweet treat! If you're a fan of boba, sweet Starbucks drinks, or otherwise like to drink your dessert, Thai-style iced tea is the way to go. Think of it like a syrupy iced tea latte. My husband ordered the chicken yellow curry bowl and he was also happy with his food! Very different from Indian-style curry, but he'd been craving Thai curry for a while and he said this hit the spot. There's something about coconut milk that just balances well with spiciness. The owner was warm and friendly during our visit and our server was very attentive. I still can't believe our bill came out under $20. Definitely want to stop by again. Having been to most asian restaurants in pasadena i can say that this one is not worse than others. My favorite one is pineapple fried rice. So tasty. I really recommend tasting it. It's really worth going there even if you're not an asian food lover. read more

The food here is alright, maybe slightly above average, but the service here is god awful. I've came in 3 times before and each time the waiters paid us no attention required us to go up to the kiosk just to get a refill of water or the check. I still would come because it's right next to my work but after trying to go in 1 hour before closing and being rejected a seat I will not be returning. I went in around 9:10 (close at 10) and we asked the waitress for a seat for 2 she said they are only doing takeout and immediately walked away and ignored us. Tables were still barley being served and we would have done takeout but she just turned us away. This wouldn't force a review but there is continuously bad service here so I would stay away. read more

During a pandemic, especially, you would think there would be concern and compassion, attention to detail and a conscientious attitude. I went there eager for thai food and asked for Pad See Ew, and they put the EW in it for certain!! What I got was something that appeared to be lying in a pot, and was either gently warmed or microwaved to try to bring it back to life. When noodles congeal (stick together) the way these did, that means its been laying around. I'm overspending for this atrocity, and what was the worst thing about it was IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY FLAVOR!! It tasted day old and had no flavor, handed off to me by an employee that REALLY DOESN'T CARE but wants people to support them. I was so irritated by this. Why give my good money to people WHO DON'T CARE!??!? You have ads and pics stating to support you, and no one should support a restaurant that is part of the animal murder system anyway, but they can't get it right on top of it. Don't support places where animals are slaughtered. Thats a ridiculous idea and STUPID thing to support. You are supporting the abuse and murder of animals, from the twisted minds that have forgotten this shame. These kinds of restaurants do not deserve to be open but people go to restaurants just because they can't cook anymore and want a respite from home? I work in the area and this is my new local Thai place! Great service and a beautiful space. I really love their dishes overall, but definitely try the Panang Stew Beef. I find it to be the perfect amount of coconut, curry, and with excellently tender beef pieces. They also have some very interesting selections of milk tea, such as Rose and Lavender. I prefer the Lavender, but both are definitely worth the try. Perfectly sweetened, in my less sweet craving opinion and I really love the floral notes.
