I was really excited to try Peet's Coffee ( Sahara location). Prior to my visit, I had downloaded the Peet's coffee application on my phone to receive points for checking in and ordering. We decided to do drive thru and Peet's Coffee costumer service gave us an "ok" experience. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha with no whip cream. The drink itself was good but the employees working the drive thru is my main complaint. First impressions are hard to forget and I probably won't be back based of their costumer service. All the staff are super friendly. The shop is super clean. Love all the pastries. Only thing they need to know is to make sure the pitcher with the milk is rinsed out well after each use. It has happened on more than one occasion and today is another day this has occurred, I can taste a bit of almond in my latte which has just regular milk in it. Now I either have to go all the way back to the store to have it re-made or throw it out as I cannot drink my latte with a tinge of almond taste in it. read more

I visited this location today on Sahara this afternoon. My friend and I had a great time here the staff is so nice and helped me with WiFi. I want to give a shout-out to Kevin! Thank you for making this visit rememberable, he recommended their black tie cold brew and chai cold brew with pumpkin. I liked both but the black tie was better. My friend got the white chocolate mocha and said it was the closest she had to Starbucks! I will definitely visit again. We also were recommended the Chocolate croissant, very tasty heavy on chocolate. My friend got the almond croissant, she was in love. This place is great for working. There are many tables lining the walls with outlet access. Due to COVID there are sanitation stands everywhere. The playlist is wonderful. Great atmosphere. read more

First time trying this place and I was excited to get the Havana Cappuccino. I went through the drive through, I saw they had a pretty patio area. I love the taste coffee but did not get enough of it as you can see in the picture.. they allow for almost an inch of foam. Argh! read more

The coffee is good here and the people who work here are very friendly. It's a great alternative to Starbucks because their lines aren't nearly as long. My only gripe is that their credit /debit card machine asks if you would like to add a tip and when you do I don't feel that the people who are taking my order actually know that a tip has been added because I don't get a "thank you" which I would appreciate. In life I am the type of person who always shows my appreciation and tells people thank you and it's nice to get that in return. I don't enjoy going to businesses who use those types of card machines because I feel like the tip goes to the owner of the place rather than the person who works hard on my order. This location always messes up an order. Either they forget knives or forks, or STRAWS! OR THEY straight up forget full items. One time i was charged for a water bottle i didn't even order. The pastries r aged and cold and you can just tell they aren't fresh at all. They have a new honey latte AND IT TASTES SO BADDDDD. HOW DOES COFFEE EVEN TASTE BAD? Although I am a big fan of Peet's coffee in general. I'm giving this location in particular 4 stars because 1. Their drive thru intercom is always so quiet, it's hard to hear the employees and they have a hard time hearing the customer as well, I always have to repeat myself 2 or 3 times to get the order right. And the morning breakfast sandwiches seem to be low on stock. But it's just like every other Peet's location with great quality beverages. read more

The staff tends to get really noisy here. I finally found a great place to concentrate and get a lot of work done. Every other coffee shop in the area has been too loud and distracting. This one is actually quiet and chill, except for some of the staff. A few of the guys just seem very immature, laughing and yelling at the top of their lungs. It's like, come on guys. You're at work. This isn't your living room or a hockey game. I like the setting a lot. Coffee is good and the treats are delicious. I just expect better behavior from the staff. They're all very nice, which I appreciate, but if the rest of the store is quiet and I'm being distracted by wild behavior behind the counter, it's no good. read more

Peet's used to be one of my favorite coffee shops until recently. Their discovery location makes better coffee compared to Sahara but lately their overall quality has diminished. Their cold brew is watered down and their drink consistency constantly wavers. I went today to get a simple macchiato with light ice and they couldn't follow basic instructions. I got a small instead of a medium first. Then they gave me a coffee with full ice. And my final drink barely had any ice and tasted awful. I poured it down the sink. They make their hot drinks so much better but when it comes to iced they screw up royally. Try the baked foods tho. They're pretty good. read more

My husband and I go here frequently but have not been impressed with their lax following of masks. A man was ahead of me who had his t shirt over his face and was still served. He should have been told to leave but all three staff ignored it. Staff often don't wear masks properly either. The store should be audited. I used to go to Peet's in Santa Monica all the time so I was happy to see they were opening one here...however the employees working the drive thru seem really really unhappy. There was a look on both the guy who accepted my payment and the girl with short brown hair who handed me my drinks face that gave the impression they were not feeling being there. I don't even really like starbucks but I'll go there instead to avoid the negative vibes at this Peets. Please don't work in customer service if you can't provide a good experience for the customer. I agree with many others, I like Peets but this location has gone down down down hill in the last year. It's very inconsistent, my drinks always taste different. I have have had to return to the store to have my coffee remade more than a handful of times because it just downright tastes bad. This doesn't happen ANYWHERE else I go. The workers are not friendly, don't make good drinks, and still ask for a tip in the drive thru EVERYTIME. I literally got all the way up to the window to have to repeat my entire order over and wait for them to make it and they still ASK FOR A TIP. Yeah, I do find it annoying that they ask me for more money after I already paid $15 for 2 iced coffees and yet they can't even do the bare minimum as a drive thru clerk. I ordered a large Horchata Cold Brew Oat latte and I couldn't taste the coffee at all! It's all watered down. It was probably a 2:1 water to coffee. Just sugary water. That's it. Terrible!! Their quality has gone down over the year. Their first location had the best coffee and I loved it so much. And the Sahara location which I got this drink from also made good coffee. But now it's just so bad. I can't taste the coffee in any of their drinks at all. read more
