Ordered a iced caramel macchiato and it was simply amazing! Tasted so much better than your average overly sweet and all syrup caramel macchiato at your local Starbucks. I got the iced mocha half-caf. Very yummy! Not so sweet you can't taste the coffee. The coffee has a fresh bold flavor and doesn't taste burnt/bitter like Starbucks. Love this coffee! I've been to this location over a decade but today's order was really not the best. I ordered ahead on the mobile app... requested for extra hot milk temp. This is my local coffee shop due to the fact that not only is everyone always happy & greets you with a smile, but the coffee truly is amazing!! I went in this particular morning to grab a doppio macchiato (two shots of espresso) and as I waited for my drink I witnessed Tyler, the barista checking the temperature of an elderly woman's coffee in front of me with a thermometer to ensure it was at precisely 91 Celsius for her to enjoy! I was pleasantly surprised to view this & watched the last walk away with a huge smile on her face. As I walked up to the bar Tyler asked me if I wanted a short pull or long pull espresso, I looked at him confused & puzzled because I didn't know what that meant but he kindly and humbly explained the difference between the two which is the sweetness, (short pull) and bitterness (long pull) I walked away as happy as can be and am thankful for the added coffee knowledge Tyler took the time to explain. read more

Although the coffee and breakfast sandwich was good, I did NOT feel safe going inside to order. They don't require customers to wear face masks. I witnessed another costumer who also felt uncomfortable and advised two teens in the coffee shop that it's safer for everyone if they wear masks in public. What a horrible experience I had this morning while visiting Peet's Coffee in Tustin. This is the nearest Peet's Coffee to my home and I wanted to get a Javiva Blended Mocha because I was craving it. We get there and stood in a long line. There was a tall female Caucasian cashier with long hair who was helping expedite orders for the other cashier. When it came our turn, I asked for a canele and a small blended javiva mocha and my boyfriend ordered a medium Major Dickinson. She stood there and responded in a LOUD, rude, stuck-up, and condescending tone, "What?! It's a "cah-ney-lay!!" Her facial expression was stoic, not friendly or approachable. Would've been nice if she didn't make me out like an idiot with her approach. This pissed me off. She came off with this arrogance that was so off-putting that I wish her customer service badge is revoked! This lady had the audacity to correct my pronunciation when clearly, I had pronounced it correctly. "Cah-ney-lay" isn't how you pronounce it in French! Canele de Bordeaux is a small French pastry flavored with rum and vanilla with a soft and tender custard center and a dark, thick caramelized crust! Plus, she came off as if she was doing me a favor for correcting me. Girl, please. Apparently, Lindsay M. has made a complaint about this specific person in her review and I feel like we are talking about the same person. I usually have a good experience when I come here before work. However on Thursday I had a very rude interaction with one of the cashiers. She wasn't wearing a name tag, or her hair was covering it so I don't know her name but she was tall, with long hair and wears glasses. I started to order my drink and an HONEST mistake, I said "venti" instead of a large because I was tired and it just came out. The girl said "you want a what?! This isn't Starbucks!" I told her I know I'm sorry, it just came out, the guy behind her found it funny but she didn't, she was clearly offended almost like she took it personal. So, I told her, can I get a medium not a large? She told me, but you said venti, so do you want a large or not? I said no I want a medium. After that she said "do you want anything else?" I said yeah, just a blueberry muffin and that's it. When I went over to wait for my drink one of the other girls, was looking at the screen and asked so is it a medium or a large? The rude cashier said I don't know she said a large first then changed it. I butt in and told the girl...AGAIN! I said I wanted a medium! I got my items and when I was walking over to get a straw, the rude girl started talking about me and what I did. I wasn't even out of the dam door yet, and that girl had the freaking nerve to talk about me when I was clearly standing right there!!! Hello, dumb girl I'm standing right there and I'm NOT DEAF!!! I don't care if you were having a bad morning or just didn't want to be at work, but don't take it out on your customers! I have never been treated so rudely while ordering coffee! I'm sure I'm not the first one to make this mistake! She didn't need to get all nasty & rude about the whole situation. read more

Peets is just the best coffee ever! I was a Starbucks addict for many years until I started trying Peet's and now I have turned into a coffee snob and will only go to Peet's! Well... if I'm desperate and there's not a Peet's around I will go to Starbucks, but not if I can help it. I love that they have Almond milk and they know how to steam it properly so it taste creamy with the hand drawn espresso shots. The customer service is top notch, I consistently hear the staff call other customers by their first name as they walk in the door. I usually just get a iced coffee and one of their SHITTY pastries. They also have one of the most popular bathrooms in Tustin Crossing with many a visitor "depositing" but not actually buying a drop of java. Come on people...stop with the "Code Yellows" and if you're going to flush then at least be an actual customer. This place gets 5 stars because of the very sweet girl with blonde hair in a bun who always remembers my name and order and because of Lisa! I recently moved a block away from this Peet's and I always receive great service and great drinks. With the exception of the tall girl with long blonde hair, she rude and condescending. Peet's is a-ok just like the 3 star rating says. Nothing I particularly love about them. Their coffee is good, they do make a decent Hot Chocolate, service is usually fine, etc. I typically will always prefer to go to the Lost Bean (across the street), Kean or the Coffee Bean, but when I happen to be eating next door or something, then Peet's does just fine. read more

The coffee here is rich and you have a lot of choices. Seating inside is limited and the outdoor seating shared with Jamba Juice is subject to some non-customer traffic. It is pretty similar to Starbucks except I would prefer Peet's for straight coffee. read more

I think Peet's serves the best old school cup of coffee. Their Indonesian based coffees such as Major Dickinson Blend and Sumatra, are great and I like how they do a dark roast. If you like a less roasted, more acidic cup of coffee, you will probably like Keans down the street better. Also, a more floral, slightly sweeter and very expensive cup can be found at Portola Coffee lab. However, Peets is my go to coffee shop, and this particular location has a very nice staff. read more

I average 3 days a work week at this particular location, stopping in on my way to work early mornings. The coffee is fantastic and the service is great. My go to is a medium roast drip coffee - simple, easy. However, 2 of the 3 days during the week, without exception, i am told they are out of medium roast and I will have to "wait a few minutes" for the next batch to brew.
