Absolutely one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever visited! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The kebabs were tender, the rice was fluffy and fragrant, and everything tasted homemade. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic Persian Restaurant with outstanding service, I highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to come back!

We have visited a few times. At first, we thought it was a great choice, but service and food quality dropped on later visits. We felt the large kabob platter should include Persian rice. Adding it would greatly improve the value. Also, the tea portions were very small and priced high compared to other Persian spots where tea comes in large, refillable glasses. Overall, the value for the money is not very high.

I found this place on Google Maps and was so excited to try it since I've been super into Persian kebabs lately. I came with my parents for lunch on a Sunday and we were seated immediately. We settled for the Mix Kebab Tehran since the portions are for 3 people. Mix Kebab Tehran - This dish came with Chicken Breast Kebab, Chicken Thigh Kebab, Beef Koobideh, and Filet Mignon Kebab. All of it was so delicious but my favorite one has to be the Beef Koobideh. It was juicy and fatty, perfect pairing with the acidity of the tomato and onions. The Chicken Breast kebab was also surprisingly juicy considering the leanness of the meat. This dish also came with a Persian yogurt sauce which my mom really loved. It helped cut through the fat with some acidity. Overall, I would definitely come here again! Great portions and great food!

Ordered the Kashk Bademjoon appetizer to share and I enjoyed it more than my main dish. It was mashed well, creamy, and wasn't too salty or anything. The lavash was warm, soft, and paired well with the overall appetizer. For my main dish, I tried the Koobideh and chicken thigh combo to share. The Koobideh was tender and had a nice chew, the chicken thigh could've been a bit more tender/juicy, the roasted veggies gave the dish a nice crunch and the rice was prepared well. But, the overall dish felt like it was lacking seasoning/flavor and missing something maybe a sauce perhaps. I ended up putting some of the eggplant mixture on top of the Koobideh and chicken which gave it a bit more flavor since it was lacking. My husband ordered the bbq combo wrap which included both Koobideh and chicken along with onions and tomatoes. Same goes for the wrap, it was a solid wrap--but felt like it was missing something. I did enjoy the crispness of the wrap though. Would I come again? Probably not, as I've had better elsewhere. Service was friendly but they could've been a bit more attentive in refilling our water without having to ask especially since we were the only ones dining in at the time. Ordering is by QR code. Plenty of tables and floral decor, but it's a pass for me.

This was our first time coming here and we came here on a Friday night. It was moderately busy and we were sat right away. They had live music which I think might be a weekend thing but I'll need to confirm. Our server came over and welcomed us and took our drink order and let us know if we had any questions. We ordered an appetizer to start and it came out fairly quickly. The ambiance was very friendly and nice. One of ladies who I think was the owners tried to get me to dance with everyone but I'm very shy so I respectfully declined. Another table was there for a birthday and we're all dancing, it was a fun vibe! What we ordered: Appetizer: Crispy Rice (Tahdig) With Ghormeh Sabzi And Gheimeh Bread Cheese and walnuts Main: Baghali Polo Mix Saffron Rice With Koobideh Combination Chicken Kabob Beef Koobideh Dessert: Tea Faloodeh And Ice Cream This was probably the best kebab I've had and the portions are generous. I really loved the service and all the food. And would for sure be back!

Loved the kashk bademjoon. Absolutely delicious. Tried the combination koobideh. Enjoyed the chicken more than the meat. Everything else was average. I'm still reeling from paying $11.99 for a small bowl of yogurt with chopped cucumber in it. The meal cost us upwards of $110 for two and this is not a fancy place. I think the sides are really expensive for what they are - especially the yogurt and the shirazi salad (Again just chopped cucumber and tomatoes in a small bowl) Tahdig with ghormeh sabzi came swimming in oil with barely 2 small pieces of meat in it and four kidney beans. Did not eat this. Tahdig was not crunchy, it was soggy. Service is extremely sweet.

My Boyftiend saw an Instagram post and I was in the mood for Persian, so we found ourselves at Persian Kabobs. We thought we might have 2 more joining us and I always want leftovers so we ordered the Family BBQ Chicken plate - 7 skewers. In addition I ordered saffron rice and Zereshk Polo rice. Blown away by the size, and deliciousness of the chicken and the rice. The chicken thigh is so tender, moist and flavorful. I am having a party soon and they will be part of the meal for sure! Highly recommend.

This place was just ok for me I think the eggplant appetizer was the highlight for me. The chicken thighs was a bit off for me. It was moist but I felt it could have been cooked more. The wrap dish needed a side tried to order fries but didn't have any that day.

My mind is blown. Came here on a Saturday night at around 8 pm. The staff were all very kind. We used the QR code to look at the menu and the server came by to take our order. I absolutely loved everything we ordered here. The hummus was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it The shallot yogurt was one of a kind. The best yogurt I've ever tasted at any Persian restaurant . The beef and chicken koobideh was just amazing . Flavorful, tender and super juicy. The best I've ever tasted in my life. Even the saffron basmati rice was actually fragrant. We will definitely be back often and bring a bunch of friends with us. My favorite Persian restaurant!

Lunch date with one of my besties after our late morning walk. I was craving Persian food, so we decided to try this place since it's conveniently located near Home Depot, which was our next stop for a quick errand. The restaurant was empty, probably because we came in for an early lunch. The host was very friendly and welcoming, although I did feel a little rushed to order since she checked in with us a few times to see if we were ready. I would totally understand if it had been busy, but we were the only customers there at the time. Since it was our first visit and the menu is accessed by QR code, we were still scrolling through everything and deciding what to get. We ended up ordering individual plates. I had the Chelo Kebab Koobideh, which is a ground beef kabob served with saffron rice, grilled tomato, and fresh onion slices. My bestie ordered the lamb chops with saffron rice and grilled peppers. While we were waiting, the host brought out complimentary flatbread, yogurt, and salad, which was such a nice surprise. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. The lamb chops were slightly charred, but my friend still enjoyed them. This place is more of a casual spot to eat, which makes it great for a relaxed lunch. I'm already planning to bring another bestie next week so she can try this spot too. They also accept credit cards, which is always convenient.

I've been on a Middle Eastern food high for about a month now. I think it's my goal to try to find some of the best Middle Eastern, Persian, and Mediterranean eats in the South Bay area. I believe this was my second Persian place I tried on my pursuit of some of the best Persian/Middle Eastern eats. And boy am I glad I found this place. First of all this place I feel like is one of those hole in the wall places. It's kind of hidden to the side. Like a hidden gem. I also think that this place is also a really popular spot for receptions and catering. When I went on a Saturday afternoon it was nice and quiet, the host (I believe she is either the manager or owner) was super nice) I ordered koobidah and chicken combination because I wanted to try both proteins. I also ordered the lavaash bread also. I underestimated how large these portions were going to be. But besides the underestimation, the food was absolutely delicious here. I never combined lavaash with mint like that it's a whole new flavor profile I really came to appreciate with the sumac onions and grilled tomatoes on the side with the well seasoned and juicy meats was absolutely delicious. The saffron rice was a generous portion that could have probably feed two to three people. I needed to take leftovers home. But this place is worth checking out if you want to try Persian and Middle Eastern food I'm definitely coming back because it is my current favorite Middle Eastern spot. Update: One of the most hospitable restaurant managers I've met and places I ate at. Please support this place!

I've been to 3 others Redwood City BBQ, South Winchester BBQ (San Jose), and Canyon's BBQ (Castro Valley) and I've reviewed most of those quite favorably, except for 1. But they have about 4 others that I haven't been but are on my list. I guess now I'll know they are more the same than they are different. I knew walking in that I was going to like it. A strong aroma of wood smoke hugs you upon entering. A cool mural outside, lots of beers and bbq on the tables, cool tunes that was all over the place genre wise. 2 Meat Combo ($26/4.5*) Crazy solid combo. Not as juicy as I would prefer but between the perfect smoke content and their seasoning just makes me happy enough. Brisket: Their brisket is awesome. Not as juicy as some of the top notch places here in the Bay, but the flavor was perfect for me. Assertive smokiness without being overbearing. Get a piece with a good layer of fat and it was basically hearty beef bacon. I rarely put sauce on brisket but theirs is not bad, maybe just a dot or 2. Ribs: Also drier than what I like but the flavor and meaty texture was enough for me. Definitely have to pull these off the bone a bit, does not easily fall off, which I actually prefer. I like toothsome versus mushy meat. These ribs do have a layer of bbq sauce cooked into them, so it has a sweet and tangy flavor already in it. But they still can accept extra sauce, as it will not only moisten the ribs further but it will amp up the tang and sweetness that pork ribs are natural for. Tried 2 sides, beans and coleslaw. The beans aren't the super sweet kind, which I liked. More chili-like very hearty and complimenting to the smoky bbq. The slaw was perfect, crisp with a creamy yet slightly sweet dressing. Crazy good, I could actually eat their sides alone as a meal. Their corn bread here is strange. It is cooked in a sheetpan and cut into squares much like a brownie. But that square is then griddled til golden brown so I totally thought it was garlic bread at first. The other bbq spots I tried from this same company didn't make corn bread like that, so this was a first for me. Probably the only miss for me here. Also tried a half pound of Tri Tip ($20/4*) Very meaty that they were able to keep it a nice pink medium, which I like. But much milder in smoke than their brisket and ribs. I ended up making sandwiches with these at home. They are sliced pretty thick so you may have to slice some of them further. It bites easier in thinner slices versus monster thick slices that will pull out of the bread with each bite. I learned that on this out so just throwing out a tip. A solid bbq throwdown with a cold frosty one, plus lots of leftovers for work lunches the next few days, is just an out I can repeat over and over. Glad I found this spot!

Very disappointed with the portions and customer service…read more We've been coming here at least once or twice a month because we genuinely love the BBQ. We recently started buying the meat by the pound, and unfortunately, we've now had the same issue twice. Last time, we ordered a pound of brisket and a pound of tri-tip. When we got home, the portions seemed unusually small, so we weighed them. Both were under 15 oz. We were disappointed but assumed it was just an isolated mistake. Today, we came back and ordered a pound of brisket and a pound of tri-tip again. Unfortunately, when we got home and weighed them, both portions were under 14 oz. That is a significant difference when you are paying by the pound. I called the restaurant to let them know, and the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry." We are regular customers and really enjoy the food, which makes this especially disappointing. Mistakes can happen, but having the same issue repeatedly and then receiving no meaningful response when bringing it to the restaurant's attention is not acceptable. If you're ordering meat by the pound, I strongly recommend checking the weight before leaving or as soon as you get home. At these prices, customers should receive the amount they are paying for. Great food is not enough if regular customers don't feel they are being treated fairly. I really hope the management addresses this, because we genuinely liked coming here and would hate to stop supporting a place we used to enjoy.

One pleasant surprise was the salad. It wasn't just an afterthought; it was fresh, well dressed, and honestly as good as the side salads served at many Japanese restaurants. The miso soup was also solid and rounded out the meal nicely. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the s'mores dessert. At $3, you get one small rectangle of Hershey's chocolate, one marshmallow, and two graham crackers. The portions are tiny, and if you have kids, they'll almost certainly want more than one. By the time you order enough to make everyone happy, it doesn't feel like much of a value. Overall, this isn't the best Japanese BBQ I've had, but that's not really the point. I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can try the soups. I have been wanting to find some place with a really good takeout, hot and sour soup. The Hawaiian Suns and sodas were perfectly chilled, and there was a large variety of Hawaiian sun. We went in at an odd hour between lunch and dinner so there weren't very many people there. However, every time we've usually pass by during a lunch or dinner hour at the place was pretty crowded. We had read many great reviews and see many videos about the place knew we had to stop by. We have been missing out. I can't wait to try more. I like that you had the choice of making your own combos for the Hawaiian plate lunches if you wanted to, and if you don't like spam , musubi you can try the Portuguese sausage barbecue chicken or Katsu..

This place focuses on Hawaiian and Chinese dishes and has pretty decent selection without being intimidating. My husband had a mini low carb plate with chicken, beef and a fried egg, and I had the cheese wontons and the honey walnut shrimp. The portion size was decent and not skimpy at all. The seasoning on the plate was decent, wontons were decently crisp, and the honey walnut shrimp was perfect. The sauce gets served on the side as to not make the breading on the shrimp soggy but even without the sauce the shrimp were so perfectly crisp, this is not exactly what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised. (Honey walnut shrimp is my go to dish) Staff was friendly, the place is well kept, there is a huge tv screen for some entertainment. Simplicity is best in this scenario. Will I go again? Absolutely. I definitely want to try what else they have to offer! You can order on the tablet at the front or with the cashier as well.

I've…read moreseen mixed reviews of this restaurant and was hesitant on coming here, so when I saw the bags available on TGTG, I figured it was a good time to try, and they didn't disappoint! If their TGTG can be this delicious, their normal food must be even better. Would be happy to come back another time to try other things! Pulled pork wasn't dry and was smoky, chicken wasn't dry. Their BBQ sauce was a good mix of sweet and salty. Cole slaw, potato salad, beans, and corn muffin were delicious! No complaints at all. There's plenty of seating inside and the workers were very nice.

I stopped by this restaurant during a business trip to relive out my childhood. Nothing about this place has changed, in a good way! Let's break it down Service You order your food at the front, but can also have someone come to your table and order. Everyone is nice and welcoming, and will help you order if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of choices. Ambiance It looks and feels like your neighborhood bbq restaurant, with matching music chairs and tablecloths. They have light rock or country playing in the background and it's not too loud in there. I went during lunch time and there were guests sprinkled about the tables. Food The food was amazing! It was cooked to perfection, and you can choose from many bbq sauces available. I ended up getting the pork beef and chicken, with corn bread and potato salad. Their potato salad was to die for! The only thing that I guess I was shocked by was the price. My meal came out to around 6 dollars after tip, and I thought it would be closer to 30. All in all, I give this spot a 4/5 would recommend!
