So, I've walked by Centro Peruvian Fusion a million times because my colleagues and I often go to Pega Grill and walk by it while on the way. We'd noticed several times that the restaurant is usually very busy, but we hadn't ever tried it before. Today, while on the way to Pega Grill, my friend and I stopped to look at the menu and decided to give it a go. When we first sat down the restaurant wasn't busy, but within minutes all the empty tables were taken. Although there are several items on their menu, they didn't have everything available. My friend ordered sushi and they told her there was none. Some might see this as a bad sign, but I think it's evidence that the stuff they DO have available is fresh. Since they didn't have sushi, my friend ordered the ceviche with shrimp. I ordered the octopus. I LOVE octopus, but only when it's done right. Octopus is one of those things that's either great or great. Yes, ordering the octopus was a gamble but i'm so glad I did because it was EXCELLENT. The octopus was perfectly grilled and served with roasted potatoes and a red onion side-salad. I would absolutely go back just for that dish. At the end of our meal we each had a cortadito which had the perfect espresso to milk ratio. The service was also very good and the staff is clearly very eager to please. They've just earned themselves a regular!

4.5 STARS I'm popped in this place about a year ago for lunch after browsing the International Jewelry Center. I had ordered the Pollo saltado and a chicha morada to go. I wasn't impressed nor disappointed with the food, it was just meh. Fast forward about a year later, and again I was searching for "gold-filled jewelry findings" in the International Jewelry Center, but this time a divine aroma emanating from Centro Peruvian purposed me to try them once again. As a Nephilim of habit, I ordered the same dish, pollo saltado minus the chicha, but the dainty angelic Latina who took my order spoke about 5 words of English and she forgot to include the side of Peruvian green pepper sauce which I emphasized must be included in my order. I still left her a dollar tip( I tip on takeout, if you're a beautiful woman lol). As Long as I've lived in Bogota(South Florida), you'd think I'd be fluent in Spanish, I really need to stop procrastinating and learn this anti-Donald language. I strategically didn't order chicha morada for a reason, because I planned on stopping at Bravo Supermarket on my way home to buy a whole imported bottle of chicha morada to have with my lunch. Either way the food tasted as ethnic and tasty as its alluring aroma, my only disappointment was I wish the portion size was bigger, and I missed my green pepper sauce.

Loved the variety of foods! I couldn't make up my mind because I love Peruvian food that I settled with the Piqueo Fusion and it delivered! Also had to get the Chicha morada. Was delicious and the service was amazing. I need to come again and try everything else. Def brought me back to my travels in Peru! Relaxing ambiance in the setting of outside construction.

Seating is hallway. Place is a gem!

Excellent service and hospitality from the staff! Great recommendation of food and tasted fantastic! Definitely coming back here for the food and service! These people and food are awesome here and made my trip to Miami most memorable. Thank you so much Cynthia!

    Lomo Saltado

One of the best Lomo Saltado dishes I've had in town and not stingy with the beef at all which is usually my problem with a few restaurants in the area. Perfectly cooked stir fry beef, nice and juicy and I had them mix the French fries with everything so they came out nice and moist with the delicious flavor of the sauce. A few joints in the area or the city have the right taste but are super stingy with the beef so you end up with lots of veggies and fries and maybe a few small pieces of beef...not this place. Another thing I liked was the price, $15.99 plus tax and they cook really fast which was just what I needed since I was in a bit of a rush. Service is also good and ambiance is super casual.

Hidden gem! This place is excellent. I've come here for lunch on the weekdays 3 times now and I am never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and delicious! They offer specials for lunch at a discounted price with great portions. Check this place out!

    Jalea de mariscos
    Ricardo B.

Located a few blocks from my office, this place is a hidden jewel. Place is very small but the food is tasty and the service is friendly and attentive. You basically order and pay and then go sit and wait for your food to be brought to you. We ordered a ceviche de pescado, a jalea de mariscos and a chaufa de pollo. The ceviche was freshly made and came with sweet potato, corn and the onions. All in the lime juice. The jalea had fresh pieces of fish that where all breaded and crispy. It was an assortment of shrimp, mussels and calamari. Note: ask for the salsa criolla so u can dip the pieces of fish in it! You can thank me later!! Finally, the chaufa de pollo is the Peruvian Chinese style rice with chicken. It is cooked in a wok. You can get chaufa with steak, veggies, seafood or mixed! Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but they all looked good so next time, I'm ordering the crema volteada peruana!

Low light but not too dim where it's hard to see. Great vibes here! I am updating my review after payment from 5 to 4 stars only because they charge for the water that they bring out but that was not at all mentioned to us. And our waiter kept bringing out bottles without asking us if we wanted more. I don't mind paying for bottled water but I would have appreciated more clarification!

The sashimi and seafood were incredibly fresh, which is always a must for us, and Novikov did not disappoint. The dim sum selection was outstanding--each dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. And the desserts? Easily some of the best we've had compared to other premium buffets--beautifully presented and delicious. What truly elevated the experience was the service. It was attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely special throughout the brunch. I've visited the new location several times, and this visit reminded me how much a restaurant can decline when the service no longer matches the reputation. The food itself was good, but the service was extremely disappointing from the moment we sat down. Our waiter seemed very disconnected and out of touch the entire evening. He repeatedly referred to me and my girlfriend as "guys." I corrected him and said, "We're not guys, we're women," and instead of simply apologizing, he responded by saying, "That's just a term I use. I always say hey guys." That alone already left a bad impression because professionalism and basic respect still matter. At one point, he offered me an extra plate, which I accepted so I could move my spinach over. The moment I looked down, I saw what appeared to be a facial beard hair on the dish. I was immediately disgusted knowing I almost ate someone else's facial hair. I called the waiter over, and while he apologized, the overall response afterward felt dismissive. The issue was never about paying the bill or replacing a side item. It was about cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care. Finding facial hair on a plate at a restaurant of this caliber is completely unacceptable. The GM came over to speak with me, but honestly, it felt more like they were trying to smooth the situation over rather than genuinely address how unacceptable it was. As someone who has lived in the Brickell area for 15 years and supported this restaurant since its original location, it's disappointing to say that I will never return. It's sad watching a place you once genuinely enjoyed decline because the service and attention to detail are no longer there. I would never come back to this establishment again, and honestly, I would encourage others not to either unless they're comfortable risking facial hair ending up in their food. The fact that I almost digested someone's facial hair, I can't even get past that.
