The food is delicious and seemed authentic. Three of us shared the Petra Mix kebabs which they say serves two. We are taking some home. The chicken, lamb, and beef each had different marinades. They served the meat on a pita bread with roasted tomatoes, poblanos and onion and with pomegranate molasses drizzled over. The dinner also came with salad and roasted pepper hummus with flat bread. For dessert we shared a delicious bowl of mouhalabiet which seemed like flan or custard. It had pistachios and homemade syrup on top. One of us had the mint lemonade and another had the mango-yogurt beverage. Both were delicious. They have curtained booths with low cushions around brass tables for those who want more authentic experience, and they have regular booths for those who are more comfortable in those seats. I took my wife to Petra House for Valentine's day and let me tell you, it certainly did not disappoint. Phenomenal food and service and we had a nice table in one of their floor dining areas which was nice and intimate. Loved everything about it and we can't wait to go back again. I recommend the appetizer sampler that has the falafel, hummus and baba as a start. We also had their mint hot tea which is terrific so don't miss out on it. Salmon kabob was fresh flavorful and delicious and my wife ordered the chicken schwarma which I had a bite of. Delicious as well. If I could give this six or seven stars I would. This is literally some of the best food I have ever had in my life. We had soup, salad, kebabs and a main entrée and they were all amazingly good. So flavorful with quality food. In fact it was also good we ordered a couple other dishes afterwards even though we were still full. This is the type of place you go once then crave afterwards. If we were local this would be a regular restaurant for us. The service was incredible. I love the atmosphere and it's authenticity Their traditional cultures Tea they make in-house was also the best tea i have ever had. In fact it was so good I asked if I could buy a box of it from them and then they gave me a couple tips to make it exactly like they do. And believe me I do not say all these great things about every restaurant. It's rare that I leave a review like this. The interior design is so authentic, I feel like I'm getting the full experience. The coolest thing happened before we got got our food. They help you wash your hands at your table with ROSE WATER. There's a bowl and you put your hands in it and they pour rose water on your hands and wipe it dry with a towel. That definitely was an experience I'll always remember. I HIGHLY recommend you to try the mint lemonade! It's a slushy texture and super refreshing. My all time favorite drink. I also had the Mezza for four as my appetizer it's like a sampler plate of almost all their appetizers, I heard sambousak and veggie grape leaves are really good, so I also ordered that as well. No regrets at all! I loved EVERYTHING! The pita bread was not what I was expecting. I'm used to the triangular shaped pita bread. This one was like a flat round dinner roll. It was delicious and it came in warm and fresh. I ordered the Lamb shawarma plate it came with pita bread, and salad. The plate was delicious. Next time when I go again I'm going to ask for a side of sauce. I personally like to have more sauce when I eat my rice. The flavor was amazing and lamb was DELICIOUS! We were basically celebrating my brother's last day before returning to China. For this reason we were hoping for a pleasant evening. We definitely got it! Once we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes before being seated. We were given a large round table that was perfect for the 6 of us. It took a while for our server to come with the menus, but once we had him, he was around often. Everyone ordered different items. My order was: Maqluba with Chicken. Goodness, it was delicious! It has a little spice to it so if not into spicy, tell the server. None of the meals that the others had ordered had a kick. Too bad I don't recall the names of what everyone ordered. For dessert we had Balava. It was flaky and had a good taste but the base was really hard. I will definitely visit this place again! I'm only giving 2 stars because it's a pandemic and things are hard and life is hard and I want to try to be understanding. That said, it really deserves the one star. My wife and I got a couple of wraps and they were pretty okay, the meat was juicy and flavorful, the sauce was good. The wraps were soggy, the alterations we had ordered for our wraps were not taken care of. All of the wraps come with fries, but that's like a total of 8 fries? Not a side order of fries, just a couple of fries. Overall, it definitely wasn't great, and it really wasn't even good either. Won't be coming back here. read more

Usually get the Mezza for four to start (Even for 2) and then a variety of kabobs or anything else that catches they eye on the menu. First and last time eating here. Sadly, it seems staff has changed since I used to pick up Grubhub orders from this restaurant. There used to be a very friendly gal running the front of house. But when my mother and I visited last week, we had an unpleasant experience. The woman who served us was bordering on rude. Curt answers to our questions and she almost seemed offended by my asking about vegan options. We ended up ordering hot tea, the mezza platter for 2 and the signature zaatar safiha. The tea was fine. Then came spinach fatayer safiha. When my mother politely mentioned that was wrong, and mentioned she had actually ordered the zaatar safiha, the waitress said okay and brought out the right item, but there was no apology. On top of that, they charged us for the spinach safiha which was a dollar more. My mother simply wrote a note editing the mistake on receipt and paid. The mezza platter was the biggest shocker and disappointment. It only came with 2 small grape leaves and 2 small falafel balls, in addition to the other items. For $21.99 and two people we were expecting larger portions. I left hungry since that's all that was vegan friendly. We were told that they add mayonnaise to their tahini sauce and that there is egg in all the breads. Not very traditional. The food and tea tasted good, speed was average, but the customer service and overall cleanliness were severely lacking. I won't be going back. read more

Within the time we were seated we watched 6-8 other parties arrive but she persisted to get everyone seated and orders taken and delivered. Of course it took a little longer but worth the wait! When we buy from here, we buy big! The kids love all the food and I'm always surprised by the portion sizes. So much food for such a fair price. The dolmas are fabulous and so is the beef shawarma plate. The beef is cooked perfectly and is full of flavor. The falafels are great too. And don't get me started on the baklava. Knafeh was delicious as was the mint lemonade, Arabic cold tea, and Arabic hot tea (which came as entire pot that we relaxed and enjoyed all of).
