Airport sometimes gets a bad-rap, however, the food spots in Daniel K. Inouye International Airport reset the standard of airport. food. I frequently fly-in and out of HNL. This time around I flew out of the Central gates and was craving a heavier meal. We opted to sit down at PGA Tour Grill and try some of their offerings. Fortunately for us, they were offering a new Birria-styled tacos that were so 'ono. The portions were good. The meat was cooked well and tasty, and their sauces were delicious. I am definitely grabbing this again the next time I am flying out of this concourse. The food and beverage staff at this airport are one of the friendliest and kind staff at any airports I have dined at. Thank you to the staff and team for their excellent service and delicious food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For their ambiance, I was fortunate to sit in their overflow section which has a gorgeous view of the beautiful outdoor gardens.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nothing beats this. 'Ono food, friendly staff, and gorgeous view - come on! 10/10 recommend.

Had a disappointing breakfast. Bacon was way overcooked and's potatoes tasted previously frozen. Eggs were edible. Service: Sat at the bar, and service was fine Value: it's an airport restaurant but $20 for a barely edible breakfast is steep

Grilled chicken pesto flatbread and French fries

Busy time when I arrived. I think they were short staffed so it took a little longer to get served. Our server did the best he could under the circumstances. French fries were good and flatbread was decent (crust was a bit hard).

Vegan Option!! Aloha in Honolulu on vacation at the airport PGA tour Grill. Has a bowl which is vegan. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our server was very nice clean bright plenty of tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stay tune this week as I search out, vegan options in Kauai. Mahalo.

This might be one of the better spots to eat on this side of the airport. We were lowkey in a rush and asked our server how long it would take if we ordered two Punahele Burgers. Without hesitation she said 12 minutes. We had enough time so we went for it with regular fries. To our surprise our food came out at exactly 12 minutes and we couldn't believe how accurate she was. The burger itself was solid and the garlic aioli definitely enhanced it. I would definitely get the burger again. The only downside was the fries since they weren't crispy and were a bit soggy. But overall it was still a good meal because of the burger.

The service here is great. The servers check up on you just enough, which is a nice touch for an airport restaurant. The chicken fingers were plentiful (doesn't come with fries, but you shouldn't need them). It's definitely pricy but about the same price as most other options at this airport!

We decided to eat here before our 9:30pm flight. Service was great and attentive, speedy. The mango margarita was horrific and was returned. It was super syrupy and sweet. Caesar salad with fish was good and refreshing. The fish burger was tasty but with a little more oil than I would have liked.

(Dined 08/29/24 TH @ 12:00pm): Was I "fore" or against this golf-themed grill? I arrived early for my Alaska Airlines flight to Los Angeles, California in order to settle in, have less stress, and relax into my usual pre-flight drink and meal which I found at PGA Tour Grill. I'd passed by this place numerous times as I came and went specifically these last couple of years, and each time I kept saying I'd stop in one day. Well, that day finally happened. Since I've been traveling in and out of this Terminal 2 Gate E area quite a bit lately, I've decided to eventually try all of the dining options. Was this grill a hole-in-one, or would I leave it off my travel tour route!? PURCHASE Aloha Beer Co. Hop Lei IPA Beer 6.75% ABV 20floz Draft ($13.99): Golden amber color, citrusy hoppy aroma, light body, citrusy hoppy flavor, crisp refreshing finish, and citrusy hoppy aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=CkqjQYWq_l2muqNkryOI2Q The Punahele Burger + Substitute Sweet Potato Fries ($21.99 + $4.00): 100% Hawaiian grass-fed 8oz beef patty, cracked pepper and sea salt, swiss cheese, crispy onions, tomato, arugula, red onion jam, and garlic aioli held together by a lightly-toasted bun, this was a good burger with its juicy patty and melted gooey cheese https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=WObITsmpkWRE4xFWsimZIQ but honestly nothing special. The rest of the toppings seemed more like an afterthought. The pickle spear was crunchy but very small and thin. The spud sticks were really good, crispy, hot, and very flavorful that didn't require any dipping sauce. I felt the value was lagging, but it was nice to try. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=p87cT4oIj22bVPwa8Loi_Q SERVICE Greeted by a friendly hostess, she allowed me to sit along the railing so I could people-watch as I enjoyed my meal and stare at an intriguing picture https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=7aemdEizrNvBZLZ5VgFxVQ across the way. I quickly placed my order, my beer came out minutes later and soon after that the rest of my meal. I was checked on once which was fine, and when I was ready to pay up, I hailed her down and settled up. Everything was easy-peasy - mahalo! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) I was traveling through and had no need to park. However, the airport offered onsite parking structures with rates that varied from FREE (less than 15 minutes) to $25.00/daily maximum. Because this was located within Terminal 2 of departing flights, you had to already be an outgoing or incoming passenger to even get here, so parking would be a moot point. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located deep into Terminal 2 near Gate E 4-10 https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=_MK2ClzKiL-NBnmlPAvKeQ , this was a spacious floorplan with seating around the bar while many chairs/tables surrounded everything else with plenty of viewpoints. The dark brown walls added a classy touch with oddly little touches to the sport of golf. A sports bar vibe that was welcoming for the entire family[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Minimal natural lighting came in through the nearby glass doors and windows while electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were a handful of TVs while I didn't notice any background music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=13oBuDV2ScI-Bra08-iN4g ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I was glad to have finally tried PGA Tour Grill, but I wouldn't rush to have another meal there. They surprisingly had a varied drink https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=kUn0LrXnKJRI2_2aI3pqvA and food https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=WUuYZd738Lpp0Amh13vlvg menu, respectively, which may sway me towards another visit. The food was fine. The service did what they needed to do which worked for me. The pricing was elevated as expected of any airport eatery, and the beer prices were really priced well comparably-speaking. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... 4 stars because of Jennifer! Overheard a lady ,im guessing it was a manager, say to push customers to use the qrc code to order and pay. Sitting there and about 3 other customers here agreed w me that human interaction is the best. No one wants to try and figure out this qrc code amd having it freeze. Thanks Jennifer for your warmth and attentiveness! Please Dont let customer service die PGA TourGrill!

We stopped here to eat breakfast to pass some time and we liked it. I got French toast, bacon, and herbed potatoes. Honestly, it's airport food so I wasn't expecting to be blown away but I feel it fell below my expectation still. The food was just weird. Server was decent.

Pork "chips" but they only had crunchy fries. I excluded all sauces to make it GF AF. Mmm!

Also had a jug/pitcher of something light, although I can't remember what it was. Tasted just fine. Ordered the following: - Beef tacos - 5/10: shredded beef on a corner tortilla. A little overseasoned I thought. And cheddar cheese should not go on tacos. - Katsu chair siu - 5/10: Normally you'd get this traditional dish in pork or chicken. But they used char siu here. Wasn't working for me. - Fries with char siu on top - 4/10: meh. Char siu and fries don't go well with each other, especially when you drizzle teriyaki-type sauce on top. Too sweet that there's a bit of an imbalance in flavor. They also had open mic karaoke here. Crowd was kinda dead, so we tried to liven them up with a familiar country tune. Didn't work. Oh well. My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/STALE FOOD/DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS VETERANS…read more On 7/30/2026, I ate at Shark's Den Bar & Grill because my flight was delayed and, by the time I checked into the Airport Honolulu Hotel, it was already close to 8:00 p.m. I was scheduled for surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center the next morning and had been instructed to stop eating at 9:00 p.m. so I didn't have time to look for another restaurant. As advertised by the business, the restaurant is "located in the Honolulu Airport Hotel." Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After being seated, a couple who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before anyone acknowledged me. It wasn't a great first impression. I ordered the loco moco and requested the eggs to be cooked over easy. The server then asked how I wanted my hamburger patty cooked, which caught me off guard. I've ordered loco moco many times over the years and had never been asked that before. Seeing my confusion, the server suggested having the burger cooked medium then I agreed. When my meal arrived it was around 8:30 p.m. and the eggs were cooked medium instead of over easy. The bigger issue, however, was the rice. The texture was very inconsistent...some bites were stale and crunchy, others were chewy, and some grains even stuck to my teeth. It gave the impression that the rice wasn't freshly prepared. Given the restaurant's convenient location for airport travelers, I was hoping for a quick, satisfying meal before my surgery. Unfortunately, the questionable service and disappointing food quality made for a less-than-ideal dining experience. I hope they can improve both their service and consistency in the kitchen. This restaurant also advertises having "live music", but on the Thursday night I was there they had karaoke. Restaurants should not advertise karaoke as "live music" because the terms describe two entirely different customer experiences. Update (7/31/2026): After posting this review, the server, Rutilio A., sent a "compliment" to me, here on Yelp, stating: "Questionable service??? (3 laughing emojis) bless your little heart. Please note that unless you are ordering loco moco out of a truck most RESTAURANT that don't serve frozen patties will give you the option on how you would like it cooked. Can't wait to see your review of your surgery. (Thumbs up emoji)" Rutilio's comment to me actually reinforces why I described the service as "questionable." Customer service doesn't end when the check is paid...it also includes how a business and its employees respond to customer feedback. Rather than addressing my concerns about the flawed rice or how customers who arrived after me were greeted and had their orders taken before me, he chose to mock me with laughing emojis, a condescending "bless your little heart," and a sarcastic comment about my surgery. That isn't the response most customers would expect from someone representing a restaurant. His comment became additional evidence supporting my original observation and demonstrated the same lack of professionalism and customer care that led me to describe the service as questionable in the first place and now turns out to be absolute garbage. Rutilo A. definitely does not belong in the hospitality industry. I originally gave this restaurant a 2-star rating, but after the server Rutilio A (using the alias Tillo A.) personally attacked me with his "compliment" here on Yelp, I now give this restaurant a 1-star rating.

Today for lunch my sister and brother in law decided to treat my lunch at Tex 808 BBQ & Brews…read more This place is located in the Moanalua shopping center next to Koa pancake house . Service was very friendly and accommodating. The counter person explain how to order also asked if we needed more bbq sauce. I ordered their single order BBQ ribs plate . Their plates normally come with coleslaw and 1 side. Since I normally don't eat coleslaw I asked the counter person if I can substitute. She replied no problem so I got baked beans and corn. Their baked beans was on the spicy side and their bbq ribs was ok good taste but not really fall of the bone type . Overall I would say a solid 4 stars Support local

Banana Pudding: 0/5…read more I was grabbing breakfast nearby at the Koa Pancake House but I've seen that this place had banana pudding on their menu. So I swung by on my way out to the parking lot for a sweet treat for later. I have to say this is probably one of the worst banana puddings I've ever had. It's one of my favorite desserts so I've had plenty from all over the country. If it's on the menu, there's a 90% chance I'm going to buy it. Their's tastes artificial. The pudding was reminiscent of a snack pack, but something about it made it taste worse. I don't know if it was additional sugar or how long I had been sitting in their fridge, but the pudding was pretty bad. There's maybe three or four nilla wafers on the bottom and one on the top for presentation. For the few wafers on the bottom, there was a slice of banana on top. Potentially totaling maybe three slices. For those slices, though, the banana was not ripe. You could tell the banana slices needed a few more days before use. Overall, I was wildly disappointed. I would highly not recommend their banana pudding, which is such a shame. I wished I loved it but sadly 0/5. The best part of the whole pudding was the 4 soft wafers. If that's the case, that should tell you something.

Second and last time coming to this location. We overlooked our first visit when my wife was done…read moreeating and I still hadn't gotten my food yet. It was the weekend and busy. But our second time was a mellow Wednesday for lunch and while the timing was better (still not synced), the food was either meh or completely shameful. Yes, shameful! Wife got the Caesar salad with char siu chicken katsu. The chicken was ono but the salad was lazy. Basic greens with a low-quality bottled sauce squeezed on top. No wonder it came out five minutes before mine. I got the fish tacos with tots (extra $2), and this dish was the most egregious rip off I've ever seen in a restaurant. No wonder the server dropped it and ran. For $18, I got three street taco-sized flour tortillas, goopy mayo-laden "slaw", and pico with a teeny tiny piece of fish on top. See the pics! Smaller than my thumb. Barely two tater tots in size. And because it was plopped into mayo slaw, it was soggy on arrival. The fish was also suspiciously fishy tasting. I debated eating it. I ended up making one taco with all the fish and a potato taco with some tots before finally giving up. I know things are tough for restaurants right now. But this was ridiculous. I paid and left and called it a lesson learned. I'll likely stick to the Pucks Alley location from now on. Still some pride in what they serve there.
