Found mention of this specifc coffee on an blog. Shop was nice, comfy seating in the bay style windows. Had to wait a while to order, but service was friendly and nice. Mint mojito was delicious, tasted a little light on the coffee.

Always love my Philz fix and this is such a fun area to get it in. The staff is very friendly and coffee has never missed. I love a good Philter soul the house way. The perfect fall drink...except I do have it every time i go. The inside is relatively clean with fun decor. It's usually pretty busy and majority of the time you can do some puppy watching, if you get lucky.

I've not been to this Philz before but this spot is perfect for people working and studying while having a special!

Best service where the staff actually makes sure you like what you got. My life hack- order one large drink and split it with a friend- it's big enough to share!

How did coffee become the most essential social connection we have with each other? If a plague wiped out humankind and buildings were left standing in the aftermath, the zombies would be surprised by how many places one could get coffee on this stretch of Polk Street in Russian Hill. Sorry, I was just watching "The Last of Us" and felt inspired. Anyway, I'm just saying Philz would still be my coffee of choice in the apocalypse. I like that it hasn't yet been gobbled up by a rainforest-killing conglomerate, and I like the $3.50 Medium Silken Splendor even more. Light light please (photo: https://bit.ly/3HCuymn). Chairs appear to be more occupied here (zombie tourists presumably). But that's OK because come the apocalypse, well... COFFEE - 4 stars...still the only one I get AMBIANCE - 4 stars...not as spacious as other Philz but that's OK SERVICE - 3.5 stars...about as punctilious as most Philz baristas TOTAL - 4 stars...coffee will outsurvive us all RELATED - Exploring Russian Hill? SERVICE: cashier was rude and the line is going to be long every weekend morning, but that's typical for any coffee shop. usually it moves fast, but it didn't here COFFEE: my friend & i ordered the same drink, but mine tasted a lot different than hers? AMBIENCE: it's pretty loud in here so i recommend noise cancelling headphones if you want to get work done

Food: my daily is a philtered soul, hot days mint mojito, pastries are either banana bread or an kouign amann, always to my Service: recommend ordering through the app, Monday's and Friday's sometimes have a lead time of up to 20-30 mins Ambiance: clean kinda spunky decor, people will bring work here Cost: ~$5 Parking: terrible on polk and there's meters or 10 min green zones Overall: my daily driver coffee

Philz Coffee is a laid-back coffee shop providing sustainable coffee, baked goods, and health-conscious light fare. Philz specializes in coffee blends made from sustainably sourced green beans from around the world, and roasted in Oakland. Best known for their Mint Mojito, a refreshing iced coffee made with muddled fresh mint. The location on Polk street has amply indoor seating and a customized iconic San Francisco mural. Staff was extremely friendly, efficient, and outgoing, and even offered me a warm welcome to the neighborhood.

I love Philz! I wish they had one in Florida. I always get the iced mocha Tesoro. It's my fave. I love how they ask you to try it out to see if you like your drink and they will fix it if you don't.

Really pleased to find this Philz right off Van Ness on my way to work. Just like any other Philz, I recommend ordering ahead on the mobile app. Parking was not too bad on a weekday morning. Always ordering my Iced Mint Mojito. My previous fave was Tesora but sometimes it is too strong for me to stomach. Pick up was super easy, the staff here turn the cups with the names to face the door so we can just walk in and easily find our cup. Tried the pork sausage & egg burrito for the first time and it was surprisingly pretty good, just wish it was a little bigger since their food items are pretty pricey ~$6.

DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY…read more We paid extra to have our order delivered to our hotel and used the restaurant's order-ahead option. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. It had a very subtle matcha flavor, but I couldn't taste the grassiness. The sea green color was aesthetically pleasing when combined with the grassy matcha hue. As a drink, it is refreshing, but as a matcha latte, I felt there was too much milk, which drowns out the matcha flavor. 6/5 Kopi Klepon, Iced This was too delicious, I kept stealing sips from my partner (instead of drinking my own drink) and would order this one again. There was some coconutty sweetness, which added delicious complexity, and slight bitterness that pairs well with the sweet. In terms of flavor, this coffee drink rivals Vietnamese coffee. 4/5 Pandan Bolu This sponge cake-like pastry was springy and bouncy, with a medium green hue. Sadly, there was barely any detectable pandan flavor, but at least it was moist with a good texture. I'd come back if in the area and craving a strong, tasty coffee.

It was busy, but the line moved quickly and we were able to order after a short wait. Our desserts arrived right away, and our drinks followed about 10 minutes later. The service was remarkably friendly and warm. When I originally requested oat milk for my latte, the staff kindly mentioned that they use lactose-free milk by default. To help me decide, she even offered small samples of both the lactose-free pandan milk and the oat pandan milk to compare. That extra touch of hospitality was so appreciated! We ordered a few Kopi Pandans (with the default lactose-free milk) alongside a couple of their pandan desserts. The Kopi Pandan was brilliantly balanced--it had just the right amount of fragrant pandan without being overpowering or tasting grassy. Having tried my fair share of pandan drinks that missed the mark, I know how hard it is to get that flavor profile just right. Of the two desserts we tried, the Pandan Layered Cake slice was the standout. Kopi Kita Coffee also offers a few savory Indonesian snacks (like lemper and arem-arem), which I definitely look forward to trying on our next visit!
