Spectacular location with both indoor and outdoor seating. Usual Starbucks fare, but the staff is much better than average.

Quick service, friendly baristas, and well made coffees!! I got a classic iced vanilla latte and it was delicious and ready super quickly. I love this location because they have a really nice outdoor seating area, string wifi if you need to work, and a great view of the park. Would definitely recommend!

You know that I don't really like Starbooks...Starsucks..Starf***. Okay, so today I was going to play tennis and wanted to change scenery by going out to the Presidio. I have never actually been to this Starbucks and had anything. I decided to have a mango dragonfruit refresher tea. Overpriced for the size and too much ice. It was okay, but uh..why bother. Well, just to write a Yelp review for this StarSUCKS! You can hang out in this Starbucks okay. It's for the working people.

#83! I was very surprised to find out when you Yelp "Starbucks in San Francisco" this particular location comes up as number 83! Granted it is not in a particularly high traffic area and it is a bit hidden in that you have to know about the location ! But it is in the most beautiful surroundings of any Starbucks to which I have ever been. Smack dab in the Presidio bordering the Marina District of SF. Think beautiful water features, lots of trees, greenery... nothing short of feeling like you have been transported to a Zen meditation retreat! I could also describe it as a very, very mini Japanese Tea Garden feel (without the admission fee) if you have ever visited that beautiful place in San Francisco. I am usually here on weekends so the hustle and bustle of the 8 to 5 work routine is nonexistent. I read a lot of the Yelp reviewers make note of the high volume traffic at this Starbucks during work hours... Monday through Friday. And I surmise from that, and their one star reviews, that it can get pretty ugly :-) ..lots of people wanting their coffee with stressed out Baristas. So my solid 5-star review is based on visiting this particular Starbucks during weekends and holidays. If you find yourself wandering around the Marina District near the Palace of Fine Arts and you want a quiet moment and a cup of coffee ... treat yourself with this beautiful park-like setting. Dog friendly and kid friendly ....both the Starbucks and the park :-). You can enjoy the Starbucks' outside or indoor seating but I prefer to wander the park and find a bench where I can bask in nature and the beauty of it all. Also noteworthy... the restrooms in the Starbucks' building are really, really nice!!! And no codes....you don't even have to enter the Starbucks to use the restrooms (men and women).... shhh...secret!

I ordered a Venti mocha and received a latte. I realized the chocolate was missing from my drink when it was too late. The latte was delicious.

The baristas here sure have a sense of humor. Isn't the stormtrooper on the right a bit short? =)

Not just any Starbucks...this particular one is located within George Lucas's Letterman Center and caters to the people who work for Lucasfilm, ILM, and Lucasarts - I guess the Star Wars toys and trinkets that adorn a good area of the front area really give that away. Still, the baristas are really nice, the place is clean and beautiful, and the park nearby is gorgeous...I loved grabbing a iced white chocolate mocha and taking pictures of the golden gate bridge in the distance.

And it kind of looks like a convenience store from the inside. But if you look deeper into the interior, you'll see an ordering counter and a kitchen. That's because the Twisted Café REALLY is a café. It's open every single day from 7AM - 10PM serving breakfast bagel and croissant sandwiches, breakfast toasts, bowls, pastries, smoothies, specialty sandwiches, teas and coffees. There are racks of potato chips and the like, refrigerated cases with soda, juices, beer, energy drinks, and a few grocery items. There are a few tables and chairs inside and a few outside in the courtyard next to the Infinity hotel. We were two of a dozen relatives staying at Infinity, all in town for a wedding. Our group made quite a few trips into the Twisted Café for snacks , drinks, breakfast, sandwiches, etc. The day of the wedding, we didn't want a big lunch, so my wife and I split a Veggie Delight Sandwich ($14) with Hummus, avocado, provolone cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, everything bagel seeds, tomatoes, and arugula on toasted ciabatta bread. It was really loaded up thick with all of those goodies and was an excellent value for the price, quantity and quality. A bag of chips was $1.99 and a Cappuccino was $5. Pretty reasonable pricing as well. The service was excellent, from the cheerful gent at the morning counter to the smiling young lady at the afternoon counter. There is a big screen TV on their exterior wall facing the courtyard, and we saw a group of soccer fans watching the World Cup! That seemed very appropriate given the "community vibes" we felt at the Twisted Café.

Despite its size, it offers comfortable seating inside and out. Sitting inside, which is what I opted for, I could see the busy foot and car traffic pass by on Lombard Street. They offer a variety of breakfast options, and their Avocado Toast looked inviting, but I stayed with a cup of drip coffee. There was only one person behind the counter, and she welcomed me as soon as I walked in and took my order. The coffee was strong and flavorful, not too watery. I took my time sipping it while looking around the cafe from my seat. If I visit again, I would love to try their Avocado Toast and another hot cup of coffee here.

It had a very subtle matcha flavor, but I couldn't taste the grassiness. The sea green color was aesthetically pleasing when combined with the grassy matcha hue. As a drink, it is refreshing, but as a matcha latte, I felt there was too much milk, which drowns out the matcha flavor. 6/5 Kopi Klepon, Iced This was too delicious, I kept stealing sips from my partner (instead of drinking my own drink) and would order this one again. There was some coconutty sweetness, which added delicious complexity, and slight bitterness that pairs well with the sweet. In terms of flavor, this coffee drink rivals Vietnamese coffee. 4/5 Pandan Bolu This sponge cake-like pastry was springy and bouncy, with a medium green hue. Sadly, there was barely any detectable pandan flavor, but at least it was moist with a good texture. I'd come back if in the area and craving a strong, tasty coffee.
