I went to this place cause I am new to pho and I tried two other places already and this place is right by them as well so I thought I would give it a try. This place is not bad at all the reason I am giving it 2 stars is for these reasons. 1. Drinks they say on the banners free drink with meal well they charged me for it that being a soda. They also just give you a can of soda so once its gone its gone or pay again did not care for that at all!! 2. Food was ok I would go back there and eat but I do think its not as good as the other places around so only if a friend really wanted to eat there instead would I probley go back but again the food was not horrible just not as good as the other places around. The place is nicer than the others around a little newer looking but thats about all it has going for it. The free drink really bugged me not that I mind paying for it but dont put it out there and then try and charge people for it as I saw others complaining as well about it. read more

A couple of us stopped by here after a movie to check it out. Man, should have gone to In N Out. I ordered my usual Well Done Flank Pho which did seem on the small side when I got it. Wasn't too busy on a Wednesday night, at least they ran the AC and even though it was warm, was still ok w the on n off AC breeze, if you run hot, get under that AC. Their jasmine tea unsweetened was also perfect, not over brewed, was crisp and cooling. I already miss the broth. Will be back soon!

The rainbow roll was the favorite amongst the kids. 4) Tempura: pretty good fry. Lots of veggies and the sauce was delicious. The service here is excellent. Nice ambiance with but simple. I was pretty indecisive at first, but I settled on their shishito peppers to start and they were nice enough to bring a little side salad out which by the way tasted amazing (I think it's the sumi salad on a small scale). The sauce for the peppers was wonderfully done, it wasn't drenched and I could taste everything with a good balance. The seared yellowtail roll was soft, melted in your mouth and the other roll had Wahoo in it, I'm forgetting the name but both were very neatly presented, and had a burst of flavor. I love this restaurants creativity in their rolls and how they choose to present the taste palate, as a first timer I'll be back a lot more

It's our new favorite Thai restaurant in the Oc area and will be back time and time again. The menu features all the Thai classics and everything we ordered had great flavor and good size portions. The service was so good and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant ambience is a small little place that's got maybe 30 tables but it's very clean and well lite. There aren't many Thai spots around the area, so this has become one of my go to's comfort food places. The prices are pretty reasonable, service is always attentive, and it's usually quiet. I also love the Thai decor and the screen showing a walk through of a Thai night market. The Thai papaya salad is delicious as always. They're very consistent with it, and medium spice is perfect. The pad kra pao is another favorite, especially since I don't see it at every Thai restaurant. The yellow chicken curry was rich, with potatoes and carrots cooked to the perfect soft bite. We also got the pork fried rice and it was SO good. I also enjoyed the Thai Nam Tok too, especially after recently having the Lao version somewhere else. It was interesting comparing the two, which btw the Lao version I had was much fishier, herbier and spicier. Definitely one of my neighborhood comfort spots and somewhere I'll keep recommending. It may not quite hit that "5 star" category for me, but when I want good Thai food close to home, Nava Thai is an easy choice. 9/10

But I'm SO glad this is close by cause let me tell you, it is so dang good and comparable to those delicious places in garden grove. In a quaint little complex, the restaurant is pretty roomy and clean. Really enjoyed talking to the owners and workers who were super friendly. Banh mi is one of my favorite Vietnamese foods so I knew I had to try it and chefs kiss! I got the specialty (bánh mì đặc biệt) and there was so much meat in there, amazing flavors. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was so strong and delicious, just like I like it. My mom got the grilled beef vermicelli (bún bò nướng) and she said the meat was very soft and had a very nice lemongrass flavor. Lots of veggies were provided and she loved that. My dad got the specialty pho (phở đặc biệt) and there was also a lot of meat which he could barely finish and that's a rarity so he loved that as well! The broth was rich and very flavorful. Definitely going to be my go to spot and so happy there's a place close by whenever I'm craving a bánh mì (which is pretty often) ;) Check this place out and I hope you love it as much as I did!!

They ignore your presence, prob in hopes that you enter your order. There's ample seating inside. Tables are clean ( in appearance). They're sticky ! Windows should be cleaned too. Their food, very good. I had bahn mi. The roll was very good and fresh! The ingredients fresh and tasty. 4 stars because the staff aren't engaging and the building could be cleaner. The food, spot on !!!!
