We had the special chicken wings to start and then I had the Spicy Beef Pho. Both dishes were very well prepared. Our server was attentive and the portions were larger than anticipated. A 5 star for great food! Don't let the storefront throw you off, inside a great treat awaits. We started with the fresh spring rolls which were extremely fresh and flavorful. The wrappings sometimes get tough if made and then set a while until used. The vegetables were crisp and the shrimp were done perfectly and not chewy. We both had the equivalent of Bun, which is a vermicelli noodle dish, vegetables and in our case, grilled pork and pork belly. It's served with a mild fish sauce which was spot on! Each Vietnamese place has just a little spin of their own on mainstay dishes and Pho 32 certainly does that extremely well. Inside was very clean and service was great. The food here is so good and so fresh. I love this place. The broth is so very tasty it is great by itself. The pho is always full of noodles but lots of veggies. Each one tastes good and fresh on its own. Of course you get a platter full to add as you like of fresh basil, cilantro, fresh cut jalapeño and bean sprouts. I didn't get a pic of the spring rolls because they are so good we ate them so fast as soon as they were served. Careful doing that because they are hot - they were just made, but I couldn't help myself. The service is very friendly and so fast. They really take care of you. It's a small quiet place but has a lot of to go orders being picked up, but that really doesn't ruin the ambience of your lunch or dinner. I'm loving it. read more

I have passed by this restaurant many times and decided to give it a try. I ordered both chicken & beef vermicelli bowls w spring rolls to go. I was pretty disappointed. Both the chicken & beef were bland with no flavor. The beef was quite chewy which should not be the case if it was marinated like most places. The spring rolls were ok, but almost burnt. The salad on the side was just some old looking lettuce that was an afterthought. It was not that fresh pickled salad shown it their pictures. Got an appetizer order of Vietnamese rolls, and I'm sorry, but $8 for 2 rolls is highway robbery. They were good, but not better than Taste of Asia. Service was quick & attentive. They've got Blue Bell ice cream inside too, if you want a sweet treat afterward. Overall, adequate taste and service, but we won't be regulars, based on price. So FRESH and TRANQUIL here! So glad we came here. We were nearby and drawn by the other good reviews. This is a quietly held secret. This restaurant is so clean and peaceful. Respectful staff too. We had brisket pho, beef banh mi sandwich, and Vietnamese spring rolls. All were excellent and very fresh! The bread on our banh mi was soft and warm, and the sandwich had some jalapeño zing to it. New favorite place for Pho! Definitely coming back! First time here today, found it on Yelp. We got the P13 (spicy beef noodle soup) , P4 (Pho steak), and X17 (Mongolian Beef). All were delicious - the pho broths were savory, and had very healthy portions of meat, vegetable, and noodles. The Mongolian beef (ordered spicy) was excellent - tender cuts of beef with a nice sear, and perfectly cooked veggies, with a nice rich heat. Service was prompt and very polite. The soup was the perfect amount of heat and spice. The chicken in the other dishes was unbelievably tasty! Like better than most places! Very nice soup!! Layers of flavors, bold but not heavy. Tasted like they use real ingredients and spices to make the stock rather than from concentrates. The meat slices on top of pho and bun bo hue were the best I've ever eaten. So tender! The bun bo hue didn't have any pork hock like it does at other pho places but the meat slices and tendons and the overall taste were so good that I can ignore the lack of it despite the pork hock is one of my favorite things in a bowl of bun bo hue. Fried dumplings were good. Edamame was just meh, tasted like it was previously frozen. We've been a regular at Taste of Asia but after trying this place, Pho 32 is now our top choice. read more

I'm so glad I found this place. So far I've tried the mixed seafood pho and drunken noodles. Both were great and good sized portions. I love their pho broth. It's on the saltier side but not overly so. Perfect for when you're sick or hungover. I could eat the drunken noodles again and again. Delicious and they yield leftovers. Visited Pho 32 for the first time today after noticing it while waiting for the intersection light to go green. Went for Spring Rolls as a light snack that might tell how fresh the ingredients are and flavorful the preparation is. Four full sized rolls were included in the order along with dipping sauce for $7.99. They were delicious.. the best I've tasted in San Antonio! This was my first time visiting Pho 32. I was so happy we chose Pho 32 for dinner. We started off with spring rolls and steamed pot stickers. The spring rolls were flavorful and crunchy. The pot stickers were steaming hot and the sauce on the side was a perfect combination for the pot stickers. I tasted the pho that someone at our table had and it was delicious. I ordered the combination pad wun sen. This was my first time trying pad wun sen. It was very flavorful and filling.
