My family, friends, and I tend to go to this pho shop quite often. It's conveniently close by and they are nice for the most part. They seem to keep up with cleanliness and can be attentive to their guests most times. Other times you do have to be vocal but shouldn't be an issue. The food is good id say a 3.5 out of 5. This time I decided to get the seafood pho and my girlfriend got tofu spring rolls as an appetizer along with her rare steak pho. We enjoyed our meals and although I wasn't able to take a photo we did end up getting a dessert. It was the Ming beans and fruit dessert which was good. I'd give the dessert a 3 out of 5. What a surprise to stumble upon this amazing pho! The broth is so so good! I was craving pho and we happened to be in the area, and I am so glad we decided to give this place a try. Everything was made fresh to order and the service was very friendly. The pho, egg rolls and grilled chicken were bursting with unbelievable flavor! If I lived closer this would easily be a restaurant I would frequent, and I'm sad I don't live closer. The restaurant is located in a shopping center and the parking was fair. It does seem like the parking area gets busy so I'm not sure if that is an issue for some. The restaurant itself was busy but we were seated immediately. Food is very good. I've ordered both shrimp pho and the beef, egg rolls are good as well. The service isn't very good at all. I had to get out of my seat a couple times to ask the sitting server for whatever I needed. I've been to this restaurant a couple times since it's convenient and close to home. I also don't like that they only have Medium or large option for pho. There's nothing smaller so if u want smaller u should share w someone . The Thai tea was tasty. Food was great! Service was a no. We've been to this place twice and have been assigned the same server both times. Young girl with glasses. She seemed very unhappy the first time we tried this place, but we loved the food so we decided to come back! Then tonight was super disappointing. My husband and I sat down to order and immediately was asked what we wanted... good thing we already knew ! I had ordered the #1 and asked for no tripe because I've had it before and I wasn't fond of the texture, taste was fine though! So I had politely asked her what exactly was tripe, to which she gave an attitude and said it's beef. She then proceeded to say if you don't want it why don't you just give it to him? I said sure no problem... we got our food fast and everything tasted amazing! I even told my husband we might be regulars here despite the service. My husband drinks a lot of water so he was done with his one glass ONE glass mind you pretty early. We had waited for the server to come back to refill for almost 10 minutes. I then just looked over at one of the other servers and pointed to our water cups with a smile. She then told the other server we asked for water while she was talking to another server and they all looked over at us and started laughing and speaking in their language. I wasn't stupid to notice that they were talking about us. She then noticed that I noticed she was talking about us and asked if everything was okay after we were finished eating... Great service as we got greeted and seated as soon as we walked in! Clean and spacious room to sit and eat inside. Bathrooms are clean. The restaurant has TVs and music playing. The lady who served us was so sweet and nice to us. The food came out quick and fresh. The egg rolls are bomb! The chicken pho soup is the best! I tried the cooked brisket one but I think I like the chicken one better. I think the chicken broth has more flavor than the beef broth. Pho was delicious was nice raw flank that cooked in steaming broth. Basil and bean sprouts were fresh and helped add to the delicious flavor. I'm not sure if there has been a change in management or something but the prices for everything went up and they now charge 0.99 cents for extra onion and 0.50 cents for two pieces of lime. The portions are just not worth anymore especially since the large just seems like they add more soup to fill the bowl instead of more noodles and meat. They also messed up my partner's order who I often use to come here with. They ordered #14 with rare steak and fatty brisket, but received over cooked steak and well-done flank. To be honest, the food is good but with all these changes I think you'll be better off going to another pho place (especially those in OC!). If you're a beginner or are looking just for a quick pho stop then I guess this place should be fine but I wouldn't have high expectations. They anticipate your needs and bring you extra sides of sauce for your dishes and even an extra bowl of soup for your pho if you run low without you having to even ask. They treat you like family! This has been one of our favorite restaurants over the years, but the last couple of times some of the menu items seem to have changed. Last night we ordered takeout and the rice was inedible. Something tasted off with the meat, and the overall flavor seemed as if it had turned. It was very disappointing especially since the prices have recently increased. We ordered takeout so there is nothing we could do about it with the restaurant, but this was a one off, I wouldn't take the time to post. The place was pretty clean. I ordered the regular size Pho with brisket, with extra tendon without the tripe. It the service was quick. Overall the pho was delicious, I ate it all but was really disappointed that the the tendons were NOT tender.. The medium size pho had the same amount of food as the large pho. We had to ask for the condiments and side herbs (we were only given for one pho instead of two).
