Their pho was below average but their egg rolls will give you an idea of their food quality. How can you send out old burnt egg rolls and be okay with it? Do better. Terrible... I didn't even finish my pho and took only one bite of the nasty egg rolls.

I stopped by for a quick lunch as I wanted a noodle soup. I ordered their Crab and Tomato Soup and didn't realize it was spicy. It was good, loved the proteins like shrimp and tofu they put in it. It was also not super salty. You order and pay first and then sit down. Plenty of parking in the plaza.

It could be that I was already in kind of a "meh" mood, but I wasn't particularly "wowed" by this place. It wasn't super busy-I think there might have been 3 groups altogether at dinner time. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you at your table. My dining partner received his food several minutes before mine came out. It was an awkward wait-he was trying to be polite, and I was holding up the meal. (Well, not be personally, but my dish was.) Timing could be adjusted to ensure both people in the party receive their food roughly at the same time. I had a chicken stir fry dish and it was just ok. The presentation was lacking-I didn't get a picture of it, but it wasn't incredibly beautiful. Which would have been fine if the taste was amazing, but it was just ok. Kind of bland, really. It wasn't a horrible experience, I would be willing to return. But it didn't knock my socks off...and I prefer bare feet.

Was In the mood for some beef spring rolls and saw this location had some. It was a nice little drive from my area but it was worth it. Very cozy and there was a good amount of people when we arrived. They offer traditional Pho but wanted to branch out and try something new. The beef was very tender , the broth was good but I think it could have been spicier . We loved the banh mi sandwich and we tried it with the peanut sauce from the Rolls- made for a tasty bite . Their thai tea was made in house as well, refreshing and not overly sweet Will return for more of the spring rolls and try more items on the menu

We ordered pho to go and we're given barely any broth. There's was no tripe in the broth & the to-go contain it was in wasn't even half way full. Was not worth the $16 I spent to have no tripe.

Pho was okay, it did have a sweet taste like ppl are saying. The saddest thing is the spring roll. As picture the spring roll look nothing like the advertised picture. We order a large for $15.00 and it did not look like a large. It was like a small. Portion was not enough.

It was good. The boba was a hit. The potstickers were fine. Not super amazing. I don't personally like Pho so I got chicken lo mein. The flavor was good but the noodles were very starchy. It was not my favorite. Everyone else got pho. The special. They all liked it. I tried it and couldn't get past the strong star anise flavor. Not for me. But the rest of the family said they would come back. The staff were very friendly! And the food came out pretty quickly.

Hands down best pho broth I have had! Service was fast and friendly! The pho was absolutely amazing. Got the rare beef with meatballs. The fresh spring rolls were rolled fresh to perfection. Will come again! And bring my friends.

Ordered from doordash. Asked that they don't put pork on the spring roll, spring roll had pork, asked that they add extra cilantro for the pho, no cilantro at all included, it was suppose to be a steak pho surprise no steak in the pho! read more

Super delicious Pho! The brisket and chicken was 5 stars. The large bowls are about $10/$11. Keep in mind the Boba's aren't freshly made, but they have about 8 great options to choose from and are about $6 for a medium. read more

My wife and I go out of our way to stop in here when we travel through SLC - great Viatnamese food. We enjoy the pork Bahn-Mi, the Pho is also very savory. Definitely worth the trip. read more

New Vietnamese restaurant in the SLC area and it's delicious! Great service, clean, spacious and yummy food! Ordered their pork rice plate and it was good! Their bun bo hue is also delicious, very flavorful. A few people in my group ordered the combo which is a very good deal. Comes with a small bowl of pho, a banh mi sandwich, an egg roll and a spring roll. Lots of food at an affordable price! Plenty of parking in the lot! Will definitely be back when I visit Utah again! read more

We really enjoyed the family environment at Pho 9! The extended family was there eating. The young lady who helped us was working very hard. I was a bit torn between 3 & 4 stars. My main motivation to give 3 was in the hopes the owners would see my review and change things a bit so that they could get more business in the future. We tried again to go to the Thai restaurant near Pho 9, but it was SO busy. We ate in and also had some take out. The dishes were all good. Some better than others. The complaints I have was the lack of meat in the pho, and one take out (stir fry) most mostly white onions. This is not right. To charge this kind of money for white noodles and white onions! As a Registered Dietitian I know the nutritional value of the Pho & stir fry was poor due to the copious amounts of white noodles and hardly any meat! Nobody would want to pay that money for a large bowl of broth & white noodles. If that's the case, maybe charge less. Also, the bathroom was gross. Diarrhea all over the toilet and it was not clean anywhere else. Those who read my reviews know I believe the bathroom can be a decent indicator of how clean the whole establishment is. We will try this place again. I did tell the young lady who helped us that there was hardly any beef & chicken in the 2 dishes we ate in. Quality food, medium prices. I really liked this place. They had great ambiance as well. The colors of the walls are vibrant and fun. The shrimp fried rice was great with big whole shrimp. My wife and I both got sick as soon as we got home from dinner and we found a chunk of a plastic take out bag in our pho. The pho itself was just okay, nothing special. All in all we didn't leave disappointed per say, but also we won't be returning. read more

No good service! Food was bad and I don't understand why they charged me $70 for 3 Phos and 3 sodas when their menu has different prices. I asked for Large Phos and they gave me smalls once I told them what I had ordered they literally just put it in a bigger bowl and added broth. Will NEVER go back!!! Oh and also took like 40mins to serve the Pho. read more

I just want to say this is by far the best pho restaurant in the salt lake area. Me and my girlfriend came in and right away the customer service was above excellent. It's a super clean restaurant and the food is amazing. I couldn't wait to write this review because honestly this place made my night! I started going when a co-worker said that they have wonderful food. Well I have been 4 times. The first couple of times the food/soup was very good but the last couple of times steadily have been par and the 4th time was horrible. The older man in the kitchen put wheat noodles in my soup , tripe and the broth yuk!! read more

I got the vegetable pho and asked for extra veggies thinking they'd be traditional pho veggies. Instead, I got broccoli, iceberg lettuce (????????), celery and carrots. I'm so confused... none of these things taste good in pho, all they do is water down the broth. I was expecting bok choi and mushrooms, literally anything else. Our go-to Pho place was closed so we decided to give this place a try. The service was okay (you order at a counter then seat yourself). The food is meh. Egg rolls had no taste and hardly any filling. The Pho broth was overpowered with anise and cinnamon. Noodles were a good texture but they don't have many options for meats like other pho places. We probably won't be returning. read more

I absolutely love the pho here. I also think the ban mi beef sandwich is delicious. Add in a Thai tea boba smoothie and you got yourself way too much delicious food. Regular pho and large are only a dollar difference so go large if you're dining in. If taking to go, go regular, everything will fit in the broth cup. If you take to go and get large, you'll need another bowl or need to not add all noodles at once. I come here once a week I'd say and I'm not disappointed ever. 5 stars no doubt. read more

3 stars because the pho is good here! However, I don't know if it's the business' issue or if it's doordash's issue but ... my pho was delivered 110% spilled into the bag it was packaged in by the doordash driver who said it wasn't his problem. Pics to prove it... disappointing that you pay $$ to have to eat scraps from your spilled dinner that's been in a trunk for an hour... skip doordash and go straight to the restaurant... read more

So I came her because of the reviews and sadly after eating here, I have to disagree with the concensus so far. The pho was fine, but not something that would bring me back. The rice plate was horribly bland. The fried egg rolls tasted old and were way overpriced for what you recieve. All the sodas were out of carbonation as well. Sorry, but there are better options in this area. read more

I crave this place! We love the combo deal so we can try a bit of everything. The egg rolls are some of the best we've had. The portions are a good size and the flavors are spot on. The Bun is also wonderful! The condiments available allow you to spice it up. Also, the beef is so stinking tender and plentiful. I'm so happy that we found them. read more

Pho for everyone! I'm picky about my pho, I don't like the broth too meaty and it's hard to find a broth that isn't heavily meaty. Pho 9's broth base is vegetarian and sliced with the most amazing spices and seasonings! They have the meat options that any other pho place has but they don't just rely on that for flavor. Best bahn me sandwich and vermicelli bowl in the state! We love so nine for their customer service vibrant flavors and awesome menu choices. The next time you're craving Vietnamese food try Pho 9- you won't regret it! The lemongrass marinated beef is ridiculously tastey and tender! read more

I don't know if there has been a change in management, a new chef, or just a complete menu revamp. I have had their Larb and Nam Thoke recently and they are completely different than they used to be. Much smaller portion, different presentation, and flavors. The Nam Thoke in particular no longer has a hint of bright vibrant flavors and I'd honestly describe the taste as being very similar to spicy beef jerky. They charge $4 (through doordash) for sticky rice now which used to be free with an entree. It's very sad. I feel like we lost a good one. I'm going to have to check in with Thai Delight to see how they're doing.

The combo of savory beef, melty peanut butter, melty cheddar cheese, with the addition of the house jam is next-level. Sweet, salty, messy, and worth every bite. Glad to see Lucky's stepping it up. I'll be back--and this time, on purpose.

Not every pho place keeps me coming back, but this spot definitely does! I've been here countless times, and it never disappoints. The experience is straightforward--you come in, place your order, and they bring it out. The pho is consistently amazing, but what truly keeps me returning is their pork banh mi sandwich.
