This is my favorite place to eat Pho at in this area! The food is always delicious and never disappoints. The service is also always exceptional, Duc was very nice to us and made sure all our needs were met. My favorite is the house special pho with seafood and my husbands favorite is the #1 pho combination. When you classify your serving sizes of Pho from small to large, you should specify it by volume since S, M and L are subjective description but one doesn't exactly know how small is small and how large is large. My point is this Vietnamese place classify their large servings as large but it actually is small. I'm grown enough to distinguish these sizes between different Pho restaurants I've dined in. We are regulars at Pho ABC and every time we enjoy lunch here, the food and service knock it out of the park!! This trip, we enjoyed the cream cheese rangoons, chicken lettuce cups, banh mi, and bun with grilled chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and such a great value for the price. We usually enjoy our favorites such as: - Pho noodle soup - Beef stew, rice plate - Lemongrass tofu, rice plate - Shaken beef cubes The quality of the food is fantastic and every dish so comforting. Despite being a very busy restaurant especially during peak times, the waiters are very friendly and attentive. We love coming here for a casual bite with family However, I plan on celebrating a special occasion here in the near future because the food is incredible. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the friendly waiter, who told us we can sit anywhere we wanted (restaurant is really big and it was half full). Upon sitting down, they brought us iced water right away and waited a few mins before taking our orders. Between the 2 of us, we ordered the: * Beef Flank noodle soup: excellent broth that came out piping hot, generous portion of pho (rice noodles), and the beef flank was fresh * Bum Bo Hue: This sour and spicy noodle soup can be hit or miss. So I inquired with the waiter and he said that their Bun Bo Hue is very good... and it did not disappoint. Their soup base is very fragrant and totally legit with aromatic lemongrass amongst other spices. Portion was also generous and the meat tasted very fresh and tender * Pork Spring Rolls -- came out rather quickly and it was excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside with nicely seasoned meat (pork) and chopped veges on the inside. Wrapped with the lettuce, adding the basil leaves, julienned carrot, and dipping it into the sauce... mm mmm mmm good! During our meal, they refilled our water without us having to ask. When we were done with our food, they cleaned the table for us so that we can sit for a bit longer and be more comfortable, and refilled our water glasses. All in all - excellent dining experience. My family and I decided to eat our favorite Vietnamese restaurant from our long drive from Lake Tahoe to our home. This Vietnamese restaurant is a bit unique since they serve some Chinese food and also all rice plates serve charbroiled meats. The eggrolls taste good and the charbroiled chicken has a unique taste. The rice plates have large portions of food. I also like how the eggrolls are served with lettuce and mint. The service is incredibly amazing, but preparing drinks can take up some time. Wanted to update my review with a couple of new findings that we loved. Foil Wrapped Chicken - 10 This is the best foil wrapped chicken in town. Lean meat with a delicious sauce, what more could you want. This is NOT the dry version that's around town. Cheese Wonton - 9 Although it's not as crispy as some others you'd see, it isn't greasy at all. A little more dough than I like but is still well balanced. Pork and Shrimp Spring Roll - 9 Not as stuffed as I prefer and missing some herbs but is still clean and delicious. I highly recommend sriracha in your peanut sauce, you're welcome. Vermicelli Bowl with pork - 10 This is the best dish I think you can get here. Wonderful mix of marinated meat grilled with some crisp combined with rice noodles (vermicelli), fish sauce and veggies all mixed together in a bowl of fun. You won't regret it! read more

The noodles themselves were a perfect texture but due to not having much flavor they left my mouth wanting something more. The veggies didn't help that empty mouth feeling, when I had this batch of veggies it faced steamed veggies, not even salted and some carrots even remained very firm. I just moved to this area recently from SoCal and I was craving a good bowl of pho. I hadn't eaten it since before I moved, so I was desperate to find a good spot nearby. I researched a couple of places and this one stood out a bit based on previous reviews, so I had to try it. Right when I walked up, I could tell the broth was good, the aroma just draws you to the entrance! I ordered the chicken pho pictured below. It had some different toppings than what I have been used to as they added some baby bak choy and some cuts of chives. I think it went perfectly, though. The broth was flavorful and yet still light. There's only one portion size available for the chicken and that's a Large. Honestly, that size was perfect considering how much chicken you get. They also have a wide variety of sauces on the table. The servers and owner are very friendly and being that this was my first time in, it was very welcoming. They constantly checked up on me and made sure my meal was okay even with it getting busy. The interior is also well kept and tables are nice and clean. I think overall, this place is a nice spot for some tasty pho and I will definitely be returning. read more

That was it. They're lucky they forced the tip to us (we were a big group) otherwise they would've gotten jack nothing from us. I used to come here often but we stopped coming as the interior (especially the restrooms) start getting dirtier and dirtier. I revisited as soon as I heard they finished remodeling and the food didn't disappoint. The fried calamari was horrible (dry and extremely chewy) but the shaking beef was still delicious and so was the pho. Table was clean and equipped with all the necessities for eating pho. They had on several tvs playing sports. Restaurant was lightly busy. Menus were quickly passed out to us upon sitting. Ordered fried egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, (2) steak/brisket pho size small, (2) Thai teas with boba and 1 small side of white rice. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend. As someone who has tried many pho locations and pretty judge-mental of the quality I have to say this place is absolutely great. Reason why I am writing a review. Not many places like this. The broth was perfect. Plenty of meat in the soup as well. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped a little bit when my 3 year old son became a little bored with sitting still. Horrible experience. I ordered a bun bo hue and pork and shrimp spring rolls. They forgot my spring rolls. I live 20 minutes away and they call me while I'm driving. Demand me to come back. I told them I'm almost home and told them to just give me my refund. They keep on insisting me to come back, so they can check what I have. Back and forward, took me an extra 30 minutes to go back and no apology given. By the time I got home, my food is cold. Not coming back to this shitty place. Besides, their food is not that good either. They will not survive in the south sac or Elk Grove area. That's why they open it in a city with less Asian population, so they can serve you to any garbage and still stay in business. They also charged bag fee. I noticed that try at rip the receipt out of the bag immediately when they hand me the food so it's hard to see their hidden fee. read more

The veggies and greens are always fresh and the carrots taste so good. It's an excellent value for the price. Their Thai tea is also amazing. Since moving to the area we've been looking for a good authentic Vietnamese restaurant. We found Pho ABC and it definitely hits the spot. Our favorite dishes include the Combination Beef Noodle Soup pho with all the meats in a savory broth served with mung bean sprouts, chili oil and Thai basil. It's our go to. We recently tried the Shredded Grilled Pork Lettuce Wraps and they were really good. Very fresh crisp lettuce and the pork was grilled in a sauce and was super tasty, served with cold noodles and veggies you wrap up in the lettuce and add the tangy sauce to your liking. The pork egg roll is also delicious. For beverages we recommend hot tea, milk tea with boba, or the smoothies. My personal favorite is the taro smoothie with boba, or the Roasted Oolong milk tea with boba. Thai tea and iced coffee are also great. read more

I visited Pho ABC on Monday, 11/7/22. Food: I ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce for the appetizer. I wasn't a fan of the peanut sauce, but I enjoyed the rolls. It tasted good with the Sriracha sauce. I also got the #16 - Pho Beef Combination Noodle Soup with Beef Balls. The broth was flavorful. The entire soup was delicious and filling. Service: The service was fine, not spectacular. I asked one of the staff members for a refill of water, and he didn't bring it. I observed him standing around after asking, so I asked someone else. Our favorite local pho place never disappoints. We ordered a variety of things and loved the eggroll and tofu appetizers. They were a great contrast to the pho, which had warm and well, seasoned broth, meat, and vegetables. I think they make one of the best Mongolian beef rice, plates around, surpassing even the many Chinese restaurants available locally. My daughter had the three colors dessert which she enjoyed and you can tell by the photo that it has a lot of different textures and flavors. Service is always quick and attentive, we don't ever usually wait long for the food to arrive and the owner and his team are always very polite. We usually like to go around one or 2 o'clock in the afternoon as they usually get pretty busy for lunch starting at noon. Early afternoon is usually less hectic and the restaurant is not quite as busy. Overall, though even if you go for dinner, you can tell that there are a lot of people who love their food because it is usually very full but actually not too noisy even during their dinner rush, because everyone is so busy eating. read more

Not sure if it is a driver eating our food or just poor attention to take outs but tonight we ordered duck pho and pork bahn mi. The pork bahn mi was good but the duck pho was literally two bites of meat and pieces of bones and skin (neck / rib cage). Again not sure of fault of the restaurant or the driver ate my food on the way here but highly disappointed. I have since cancelled my DoorDash account. I will have to go back in person to retry the restaurant as again it was a favorite of ours in past and it very well May be a DoorDash issue. read more

On Friday, 10/11, my family and I arrived around 6:45pm and was turned away. The staff approached us at the door and said that they had a "party" so they refused to serve us. Mind you, it did not look like a "reserved party" as all the customers inside sat in different tables and away from each other. Poor service on their end when it clearly showed online that they close at 8pm. Maybe they ran out of food? Don't want to cook? Afraid that we will stay passed 8pm? Who knows?
