Pho, Fried shrimp rolls, Vermicelli and beef with vegetables

Everything is always on point when we come here. The service is friendly! The food is served promptly and so fresh!! The tempura prawns are so crunchy and sweet. I had the spicy beef pho this time and it was amazing. My daughter had the chicken sandwich and it was so fresh and spicy! We will continue to come here as much as we can.

This is one of the few restaurants around that stays open between 3-5pm. I came for a very late lunch around 3:30. They did have a fairly good number of customers during that time, perhaps for that very reason. It's a basic storefront restaurant in a strip shopping center. Nothing too unique or special, and it is clean. Parking is readily available so that shouldn't be an issue. Service is good. Again, nothing that one wouldn't expect for this type of place. I had a hunger for a sandwich, a Vietnamese one! Banh Mi. They had five basic types and I got the grilled pork. I tend to like a tofu, but that wasn't an option. We started with won tons for an appetizer. They were deep fried to a crisp. The sandwich was just OK, like everything else here. nothing special. I thought bread was a bit stale, not like I've had elsewhere. The sandwich also didn't pack mucn flavor. Overall it satisfied the hunger yet I doubt this is the high point of the menu. If I go again I'll try a Pho or a Rice Dish. I suspect they're better.

Got seated right away. The staff was efficient, and the food came out fairly quickly. Food: Grilled Beef Vermicelli Noodles: This vermicelli bowl really hit the spot. The grilled beef had a nice char and was super tender. There was a good amount of lettuce, pickled veggies, and cucumbers, which added a nice crunch and made the dish feel really refreshing. -House Special Pho: I was slightly disappointed with the broth. It was a bit sweeter than I prefer and also pretty salty. Aside from the soup, everything else in the pho was good--the meat was tender, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Portions here are generous, and they give you a good amount of meat.

This is my second time here, and I love this place! We ordered the egg rolls once again, and, once again they were outstanding. We both ordered the Pho soup. One was the spicy beef noodle soup, #32 in the second one was the house special, #34. They were both outstanding. We had to take leftovers home with us because there was so much. Both dishes were absolutely yummy! And, once again, I will be back.

The best Pho restaurant! We love Pho Cali! The service is great and fast! They accommodate any changes on the ingredients and prices are fair! Highly recommended their Pot stickers, Fresh spring roles, Number 19 with meat and 20! Also highly recommend their beef stew!!!

I had the seafood noodle soup and it was my favorite. I usually get chicken noodle or the beef noodle soup. All of them are good, but my favorite is for sure the seafood noodle. The service is good, they take their time in serving but still within a courteous time. The ambiance is nice as well. A lot of people go here but there's good space within the restaurant. They have canned soda and ice for soft drinks

Pho Cali is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking and it's fairly close to the Galleria mall. The place is quaint with furniture that's a bit dated. The staff is friendly and we were seated immediately. I got the house special pho with has everything (flank steak, tendon, meatball). Overall it was okay. The portion size was good but the meat was low quality and chewy. The broth is okay. I've had better pho elsewhere.

What a nice find in Rocklin! Pho Cali is a short drive from the Roseville Galleria, and is a nice place to sit down for a good meal, especially as the offerings at the Galleria aren't the best. I've had this place bookmarked for a while, but didn't get to check it out until recently. The smell of boiling broth hit my nose as soon as I got out of the car. That's always a good sign. It was a hot day, but I still wanted pho. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, probably due to the heat, so we were seated immediately. The dining area isn't the largest, but it was clean and spacious. I went for the pho dac biet, while my husband went for the dry wonton and BBQ pork hu tieu. I also ordered a Thai tea. Our food arrived pretty quickly, and my bowl of pho was huge. It was packed with meat, broth, and a good helping of noodles. My husband's bowl was also filled well, and came with a good-sized side of wonton soup. I had a quick sip of my broth before adding any fixings, and it was delicious and fatty. It seemed that the kitchen staff didn't skim off the extra fat during cooking the broth, but I didn't mind. It was so beefy and flavorful. (Normally that would be reserved on the side as nuoc beo.) As far as fixings, the herbs were fresh. There was no chili oil at our table, but this was one of the rare times I didn't care about adding it, since the broth was so good. The noodles were perfectly cooked, however, the meat was tough for my taste. There was a ton of meat, so I'm definitely not complaining about the portion size, but the pieces of meat were neither sliced thinly or as tender as I would have liked. My husband, on the other hand, really liked his BBQ pork and wontons, and also said his noodles were really bouncy and to his liking. The hu tieu sauce was also flavorful. The Thai tea was refreshing and the perfect size. It wasn't watered down or too sweet, as I'm not a fan of sweet Thai tea. The balance between tea and cream was good. It also had the perfect amount of ice. I do not like when I pay $6 for a drink and the majority of my drink is ice. This had the perfect amount of ice. It is rare that I ever have leftovers when I get pho, but both my husband and I ate our fill and still had plenty of food left to take home. I ate all my noodles and brought home the broth and meat. Pho Cali is definitely worth it for the price, and since all their dishes are one-size, you can expect to take leftovers home. I'm hoping that next time, the meat is not as tough, but we shall see. I'll gladly return to Pho Cali again if I'm in the Rocklin/Roseville area for my pho fix, and would recommend this place for those looking for some delicious broth.

Pho ga (chicken pho), pho tai (rare steak beef pho), nem nuong cuong (Fresh Spring Roll with Mama Marinated Pork)
    Jessica D.

We came back with friends and I can now say this is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in NorCal. In addition to the perfect chicken pho and delicious mama marinated grilled pork (nem nuong) spring rolls, their grilled pork banh mi sandwich? Divine. Top tier. Our friends also loved the stir fried egg noodles with beef (hu tieu xao bo). Unfortunately their BBH was a let down because it was way too sweet- looks like both their beef pho and BBH tend to lean that direction. Nonetheless, I am impressed that a restaurant can completely nail a variety of dishes and am excited to come back and try more items from their menu. 5 stars!

I've been here a few times and each time I am very satisfied. Their pho is so flavorful, I love it. Also the shrimp spring rolls are fireee especially with that peanut sauce.

Review #100! Thrive…read moreNutrition & FITClub offers FREE Cardio Drumming and Strength Training classes Monday through Saturday. As of summer 2022, 1-hour weekday classes have been 6 pm, and Saturday classes are 8 AM Strength Training and 9:30 AM Cardio Drumming. Strength training classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It is suggested you bring your own mat and hand weights, but there are some provided in class. This was my first experience with cardio drumming. Caroline is our beautiful, fit instructor. It's super fun and clever way to get in your steps and cardio effortlessly. Class is clearly popular and addictive with a loyal following. My favorite routines are the ones with salsa and arm movements. Cardio drumming classes are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Cardio drumming involves using drumsticks to pound on an exercise ball on top of a laundry tub set to the music. You might stretch, squat, lunge, or dance in front your ball/tub set-up at times. You might lower yourself to pound on the laundry tub. You might be pounding the exercise ball to the left or right your own ball. Some people run around the ball as they drum. Here's a video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTnjelSLoBA If you want to pick the perfect spot to exercise for cardio drumming, arrive 30-45 minutes early. Beginners should start in the 2nd row or further back and be centered to have people in front, behind, left, and right of them to copy. The instructor and experienced cardio drummers stand in a line in the front of the classroom. Regular class attendees can often tell you are new and will greet you and help you get set up. There is no formal sign-in sheet, I don't think. Thrive is located in Sierra Meadows Plaza, where BarnBurner, Jing Jing, Kathrin's Biergarten, Wally's, and Sushi Kakogan are located. It isn't hard to find a parking space, but if you're bringing your own equipment, you might want to find a closer spot. Arrive at least 10-20 minutes early if you want to place an order for the shake service or mega tea. Shake service consists of 3 drinks: a pre-workout aloe shot, an energy & metabolism tea during workout, and a post-workout high protein, low calorie shake. Most shakes are 200-250 calories and 24 g protein! You can also place your order ahead of time: Call 916-259-1964 or text 916-835-2228. As of summer 2022, shake service costs $11.50. You can order a 2-drink service of the aloe shot and tea for $3.50. The energy and protein powders are Herbalife brand. Rhonda Hansen and Char Avila are co-owners with the Tsutakawas and skillfully handle the food and drink orders. Rhonda impressively memorizes your name over time as she takes your orders without any formal introduction! Aloe shots come in 3 flavors: Mango, Cranberry, and Mandarin. Mango is my favorite. The energy and metabolism teas come in these flavors: Original, Lemon, Peach, Raspberry, Pomegranate, Green, Chai, Cinnamon, and NRG. Raspberry is the customer favorite. Shakes comes in over 80 flavors!!! These are some customer favorites: #15 Butter Pecan #34 Coffee Toffee Crunch #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #19 Chocolicious #67 Chocolate Butter Pecan #23 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup I enjoyed #26 Cherry Garcia, my very first shake, and a sample of #50 Banana Split. Craig's favorite shakes include: #12 White Chocolate Caramel #39 Cinnamon Toast Crunch #48 Banana Nut Muffin #80 Lemon Pound Cake (+$1 for juice) #53 Raspberry Lemonade (+$1) There are seasonal and holiday flavors. Ask for the Secret Menu, or look for a specials menu. From Facebook, I gathered this information on special menu items: #80 Lemon Pound Cake #81 Candy Cane (winter) Pumpkin shake flavors are available in the fall, starting in September: #74 Pumpkin Cheesecake #77 Pumpkin Latte #85 Pumpkin Pie #86 Pumpkin Toffee Cheesecake #95 Pumpkin Toffee Popular Mega Tea flavors include Pink Lady, Watermelon Jolly Rancher, Summer Breeze, and Beauty and The Beast. Pink Lady and Summer Breeze are Caroline's favorite mega teas. On Sundays, you can order a Waffle Bowl Sundae, a breakfast shake made with 1/2 of a hot protein waffle. 31 grams of protein and 350 calories. Thrive also sells protein cookies in a variety of flavors. They also sell protein donuts on Tuesdays. Group photos or videos are taken every class. Most people are unmasked in this indoor class. Hand sanitizer, masks, and disinfectant spray and wipes are by the cash register. I'd recommend taking a fun trip to Guitar Center in Roseville to choose and purchase your own drumsticks from a huge selection. I got Size 5A drumsticks. 5B is thicker. Timbale sticks are similar to Cardiostix. However, Thrive has plenty of equipment if you don't buy want to buy your own. The free cardio drumming classes got me start exercising again after a torn calf muscle, so thank you very much to Caroline and Craig Tsutakawa for getting me into Thrive. Unfortunately, our visit on Friday, 8/28/26 was incredibly disappointing. The young woman working the counter seemed either very new or simply in need of additional support, because something was definitely off operationally. First, the vanilla machine was down, so that option was unavailable. Of course, that was no fault of hers and completely understandable. However, when my husband and I walked in, we were the only customers there. I'm still fairly new to the Pressed community and didn't have my membership barcode readily available. I was spending about $40, so I asked if she could look up my account using my phone number. She told me she couldn't. That honestly felt absurd and unnecessarily unhelpful. At places like Jamba, Starbucks, and countless other businesses, there is usually some alternative way to assist a customer when they don't have their barcode immediately available. Nonetheless, we placed our order. By the time we finished, two additional parties had come in, and she proceeded to take their orders before preparing ours. Fine. I understood that she was working the counter alone, and when someone is managing both the register and fulfillment, customers have to allow them some grace and time to balance both. The problem was that she never seemed to make that transition. As she continued taking orders, more customers entered, and she simply kept ringing people up without preparing any of the outstanding orders. The small lobby became increasingly crowded while completed orders remained nonexistent. My husband and I had an appointment and were already pressed for time. At one point, he tapped me and asked, "Is it always like this? Is she ever going to start making the orders so people can get out of here?" I finally asked her about the wait and mentioned that our order still hadn't been started. She told me she "needed to take all of the orders first." I asked, "Is that Pressed policy?" She said yes and continued ringing up several more customers before finally beginning our order. That made absolutely no sense to me. If that is truly Pressed policy, I would strongly encourage management to reconsider it. If it isn't, then this employee needs additional training on how to manage the counter efficiently when working alone. There has to be a reasonable rhythm--perhaps take two orders, fulfill two orders, then return to the register. Continuing to accept order after order while an increasingly crowded lobby waits for anyone's food to actually be made is inefficient and creates unnecessary frustration for everyone. As a business owner myself, I would have cringed watching the customer experience unfold this way. It wasn't simply that the location was busy; it was the lack of effective multitasking and workflow that created the backup. I've enjoyed Pressed enough that I'm not writing off the brand because of one poor experience, but this visit definitely missed the mark. And unfortunately, it was my husband's first impression. His final assessment was: "All this for some non-dairy ice cream? I'll pass." Not exactly the introduction to Pressed I was hoping to give him. I especially like that this version makes it clear you're not attacking the employee personally--you're calling out the lack of training, workflow, and customer service, which makes your complaint much stronger. Hopefully the next time I return, Cam will be there. She was a great front face for Pressed. I have to give Pressed a 2 stars for today. Subpar service, no vanilla, and long wait time. Hopefully next time will be better, and I'll get it points.

I honestly didn't expect to love it as much as I did, but it really made the whole dish! My husband got the banh mi, and the meat was grilled perfectly. The bread was soft on the inside but still had that perfect crunch on the outside. The texture was seriously spot on. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We'll definitely be coming back!

He could feel a sore throat coming on so naturally, he requested Phö. Our go-to spot closes a little early, so I offered to check around. Pho Station was not only open but when I arrived, it was packed! It's like everyone knows that Pho is good for the soul and especially on days like that one. Service was welcoming and sweet (I called in an order of Wonton soup with extra Wonton). It was ready to go when I arrived. It's definitely on the pricer end for what it is (and an additional $4 for a few extra wontons) but the broth is yummy, it was served nice and hot, and all the pho fixins came on the side. We have a favorite local spot that is much more conveniently located but Pho Station is WORTH the drive! Highly recommend you check it out.
