As someone who's in the food and beverage industry, I try to be understanding when something like this happens. However... when I brought it up to the cashier, she just stared at me and simply asked "Okay so do you want a discount? Do you want another one to-go?" The lack of hospitality and apology appalled me and my co-worker. It seems like staff training, food safety, general cleanliness of the store doesn't really exist here. I love PhoDaily. I've been coming here for YEARS and the food always tastes amazing and makes me feel nice and warm inside. The inside reminds me of the mom and pop Vietnamese restaurants I remember going to as a kid with my dad, always a nostalgic feeling. RIP Pho Daily... what happened to this place? This used to be THE spot for pho at any time of day, since it's a 24/7 spot. I went today with my boyfriend and ordered their Pho Combo and Vermicelli with Garlic Tofu. Usually I enjoy the food so much here, but we were literally SURROUNDED by so many fruit flies that it was impossible to eat without being disgusted by all the flies. It was disgusting and I couldn't even finish my food, because I kept swatting at the flies around. The management SERIOUSLY needs to get this place cleaned up and get rid of the cheesy smell that was permeating the air outside around the kitchen. My boyfriend found a hair in his garlic tofu. :( As you can imagine, I asked for the check and a to go box stat! I had to ask someone else to have water because the food was getting stuck down my chest. The place is dirty I'm sorry but someone has to say it. The floors were gross and slippery. Underneath my table looks like it hasn't been scrubbed for months. Everything looks dusty, even the fish tank is dirty. So I don't know how the kitchen is and I don't want to imagine. Honesty this pho was nasty it tasted like sink water with low quality beef both from a pack not from a 12 -24 hour simmer. They add water to the Sriracha to the point where it's water. The spoon were dirty and the both tasted kinda like soap. I've had quality pho before and I never go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place was by far the worst pho I've ever had in my life. The good? Its open late. The bad? We had our bowl of pho sent out with lukewarm pho broth and in undercooked noodles. I wouldnt say this place was bad bad, I've had worse tbh, but I also wouldnt be coming back. For me, soup, especially pho, should be hot. You need to add the condiments, veggies, and all that so that brings down the temperature already. Serving it lukewarm with uncooked meat should be illegal. Many things can go wrong. More of a mental thing than anything else I guess. You dont feel safe eating cold half-cooked meat. Yes, I had to be THAT person for once in my life, so I told them about it and had to ask them to heat up my bowl. I think they just put my bowl in the microwave and reheated it instead of giving me a fresh one, but I did not give them a hard time on that so I took it with a smile. AND I WAS HUNGRY. WAS INITIALLY SO CONFUSED AND WROTE THIS A WHILE AGO: I'm so confused! I ordered pho with steak and when it arrived it was all cold. PLUS they gave me a bag of raw meat! My fiancé cooked it for me. I called Yelp and was reimbursed but I don't understand why I would get raw meat! None of the pictures of dishes have raw meat. Mind you I did order before close however, this is still unacceptable. This place used to be my go-to pho place--had OK pho but was pretty cheap, open late, and had quick service. However, I will not be coming back here after the experience I had on 05/09/2025. Me and my friend walked in and was immediately greeted by a hostess that was already by the door. She got us menus and gestured us to sit at a booth (it was a booth right by the door). As my friend and I take our seats, a woman with a child very loudly stated that she was there first and was waiting to be seated, which is valid--my friend and I didn't really care much where we got sat, we have probably sat at every table in that restaurant and had never had any issues. Right after this other customer makes her statement though, the hostess GRABS my arm to move me up and off the booth seat and gestures us to sit at a nearby table so that the woman and her child could have the booth. This was extremely unsettling to me, as I was already getting off the booth when she did this and really caught me off guard. No one wants to be touched, especially grabbed by the arm like that. Despite the immediate discomfort I felt after this, my friend and I were still trying to have a good time here and just wanted our usual pho. However, we waited a good while for someone to take our order. We noticed that other parties that walked in after us, and even the lady and her child, were receiving service: they all got waters to their table along with all the little dishes they serve to you before you get the pho and were getting their orders taken. We still sat patiently waiting, with our menus down and everything. Eventually the same employee/hostess from earlier came around to us and asked us if we were ready to order and we replied with yes. She nods and takes our menus from us.......and then walks away. We look to see if she was maybe getting someone else to come back to take our order but she was not. We probably waited another minute or so until my friend and I both agreed we had to leave and I'm so glad we did. We ended up going just a little down the street to Pho So 1 and felt so much more welcome there, had extremely quick & friendly service AND their pho was phenomenal--one of my favorite broths I have ever tasted! This review is for dine in for lunch on a Saturday. If just reviewing for food it would be 4.5 stars on the pho. Big portions, nice flavor and lots of meat at a great value of $17 for a large bowl. The problem was that we dined in (take out strongly suggested.) The restaurant looks like it needed a face lift in 1998, tons of tables had dirty dishes from previous diners that no one touched when we were there for 45 minutes (but the hostess rolled new silverware set ups for about 150 people) and the stains on the walls looked like they were whipped down pre-pandemic. Mens bathroom is disgusting as well and guessing the women's bathroom is marginally better at best. FYI, they have a B health rating. On the plus side the place is open till 4am for your post rave, intoxicated pleasure when you could care less about hygiene. read more

Today I have to reduce the rating on my and bf dinner. He order yellow curry and it turn out to get something that far from yellow curry as he expect. The curry is blend without any taste of curry, chicken is dark brown color and too hard. Potato is not potato anymore we dont know how long this curry was cook but it look like long time ago. All ingredients are in the curry like century. He only taste one bite then stop eating it that include the rice was cook really really bad. Then talk about pork egg roll!!! The pork taste soooo sour!!! Seems like it was fermented for a while. We cant eat this either. Last one is my dish, honestly it s just ok, bbq pork with vermicelli bowl. Pork marinate light seasoning almost blend and it s overcook so it s dry. Sauce is blend not feel taste of fish sauce at all.
