Came two days ago craving Pho and yelped some Pho restaurants and found this place open after 9pm. This was my first time here and was greeted immediately. And the place only had 3 customers inside. I was seated across the Vietnamese television and was watching some type of soap opera. The place was clean, couple of patched seated areas. Don't know what the restroom looked like since I didn't have to pee. I ordered the Pho rice noodles with chicken. The consoume was a bit different from where I normally order my Pho. This one had a herbal spices or the onions inside my bowl that may have been seasoned stronger than I am used to. Even after the red seeded sauce and the dark semi thick sauce I could still taste the spices/onions in the soup. I rated it this way since my taste pallet is not that great when it comes to Pho, I rated this 3 stars. But I will update if needed when I try a new Pho restaurant. read more

I'm out-of-town craving for Pho, so I started to search on Yelp for some 4+ reviews on any Pho place near my hotel. Look through a few restaurants this place seems to best fit my craving even tho it's a little further. With a $12.35 Uber to get there, seated myself toward the back waiting for about 5-7 minutes before I get up to wag down someone to take my order. I ordered spring rolls with shrimp and pork, pho oxtail tail and a side of the hen chicken. My spring rolls come out like a minute or two, literally like a minute later the rest of my food was on to the table. I started with spring rolls dip in the peanut sauce (there are no peanuts in the peanuts sauce) take the first bite can tell immediately the pork is not fresh, the sauce was salty, and is thereafter taste of soil pork. Then, I proceed with the oxtail pho the broth has a good flavor basically the bowl was filled with broth and not much of pho nor oxtail. For pho oxtail, it only comes in a large, yet I only get 3 pieces of oxtail 2 were small and 1 large piece (it didn't look fresh either) and a small amount of pho(more like a kids size vs a large) The hen chicken was OK (again not fresh), I barely touch the hen. My bill came to about $22 dollar which is not bad for 2 sides and a large pho, yet I rather pay more for quality vs quantity. It's cost me $11.21 to Uber back to the hotel. It was a total of $45.56 + tips = a stomach ache and nausea. Not worth a dime nor the hassle. read more

I ordered via postmates. The pho was pretty good however I was disappointed with the spring rolls. One fell apart and the other had a funny taste. The shrimp in the roll wasn't cleaned and it smelled fishy. Good seafood is not supposed to have a smell. Maybe they don't give enough detail to their Postmates orders. After seeing how sloppy the spring rolls were put together it made me very uncomfortable eating the rest of the food. My recommendation is to not order from them through postmates. I assume their dine in experience has to be better based on the number of stars they have. Unfortunately I will never know because I will not be trying this place again. read more

Don't believe all the fake reviews on this place, I believe it's the only reason they are still open. My family tried this place when they first opened up. Everyone who ate the beef Pho got sick, the rest of the food just didn't taste good. I had to ask another waiter to bring my water which he did, but never offered a refill. So far so good! This is probably my favorite pho in the gardena/Torrance area. It's the broth and it is well above the rest in the southbay. I've been looking for a good broth outside of Westminster and garden grove "little Saigon" and so far so good! I don't like too much cinnamon stick but I enjoy the real bone stock that this broth seems to resonate with me. And the price is too legit to quit! $5.75 per bowl and $6.75 for large!!! This place is pretty good and open late night but they have raised their prices like crazy multiple times. Their sampler appetizer platter most recently went from $19.99 to $36. Their pho is now $12+ instead of the usual $8. I totally get a slight increase during Covid but this is not okay. You've lost a local customer. read more

I came here for dinner, and had kinda high expectations since I saw it had 4.5 stars on Yelp. I've been to this plaza a few times to eat at Tofu Village, but it was my first time visiting Pho Daily. I was surprised at how large the restaurant is, and liked that it had a very home-ish feel. There was a very friendly mad who seated us, and took our order-I'm assuming this is the friendly owner that I read about in other reviews. At first they messed up our order, and brought it back to the kitchen to get fixed. We shared an order of the pork spring rolls, which I thought was just okay. They were large pieces, but I was not a particular big fan of the pork. I ordered a small bowl of well done brisket. The prices here are some of the lowest I've seen in the area, and the small was actually a good size and had a lot of noodles, way more than I could finish. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the meat, which I thought was too tough and didn't taste too good. Also, the pho here left a weird after taste in my mouth-not sure if that msg or what it was. I did like that this place gives you a plate of onions to go in your pho, which I haven't seen in other places. The price is really good here, very affordable, a large pho combo only 7.75$. The pho was really good, Thai tea was decorated with whipped cream, very fancy looking.
