We drove to the strip mall, filled with other eateries, bakeries and etc. I am not a local and don't really don't the safety around so I don't think I would venture out here at night. The food was great. They serve their porridge in a wooden tub, seasoned just right. I saw every table had one and we also got one. Sooo good. Parking is a bit tough because the complex is packed with other restaurants so you may have to be patient. Upon arriving, I noticed there was several people waiting to dine-in. I ordered the #1 Banh Canh Tom Cua Thit ($17). When I got home, I realized that the soup was a bit gloopy so I had to microwave the broth a bit to get it to a better consistency. You do need to assemble the dish at home but once I did, it looked so delicious with all the seafood and meats. There is even a chili sauce that added the perfect amount of spice to the dish. While this wasn't the same as the one I had in Saigon, it was quite comparable! Will definitely be back!

Portions seem a bit smaller than the San Gabriel and Rosemead location but it gets the job done and I am pretty full after the meal. They have so many other options on the menu like chow fun, hainan chicken, and a ton of other noodle soup dishes. The last two times I came here was on a weekday during lunch so there was plenty of parking. However, I'm sure it gets packed on the weekend since it is located right next to the Asian Garden Mall. They have one of the best egg noodle soups around. The broth is perfectly balanced and well seasoned, the egg noodle is well made, with generous toppings. The dry version of the egg noodle is equally delicious. You can't go wrong with either selection. I'm always surprised at their affordable prices. These days you can't really get a good bowl of noodle soup for under $18-$20. Here you can get a solid bowl for just $8 during happy hour! Whaaat?! Crazy! That is such a great price that I almost feel like I'm robbing them. LOL. During this recent visit, I wasn't too hungry so I just got a small bowl of wonton soup for just $7. It comes with 5 pieces of wontons. The only disappointing thing was that it doesn't come with one of my favorite toppings - tóc mỡ. It would've cost $2 to add it. I really wish they did include it.
