Such a good experience! The server was super chill & quick to fill our waters & take our orders, he was playing some great music too & the place has such nice decor Definitely a bit more pricey than your quick pho spot - but It was some of the best pho we've had. It came out piping hot, the meat for the chicken pho and the meatball pho was so tender. We also got the spring rolls and veggie rolls and they were both very fresh and delicious. The broth .... I drank every drop despite being so full cause it was that good Will definitely be back!
Tried to call to order to go yesterday, phone lines were not working so I went in person & waited during my lunch but it took awhile since they had their lunch rush. I did tell cashier phone lines weren't working Broken rice was so good I was craving it again Next day, I tried calling to order & phone lines are down. So I called Formosa & placed an order with employee there. Picked up my food & asked for water Drank all the water & there's a buggy inside Food is good Service with phone lines being down, bug in drink
I've had this place bookmarked for a while and when my girlfriends asked me where to go, I chose this place which is known for its Instagram worthy surroundings. My friend said that the restaurant reminded her of some of the Vietnamese coffee shops in Vietnam. I loved the flowers and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. At 530pm, no one was there and we had parking! We ordered the following: Green Thai Iced Tea - It tasted like Thai Iced tea but not as sweet, which was good for me. The egg rolls were perfectly fried and had were hot when they arrived. The tamarind wings were sticky and sweet. A lot of batter and it was just okay for me. Finally, we got the Pho Nom. I don't know why my friend said I should get this because it was massive! It had two large beef ribs, sliced short rib, sliced brisket, & beef balls with noodles and veggies. This also had an egg which was in an interesting shape. Kind of like a cake or something. The broth was poured table side but it wasn't super hot. You can ask for more broth. Since there was so much food, we took the rest to go. The bag had all of their restaurants listed in the back with cute characters representing each one. We then realized that they have fridge magnets at each location! Of course we got one. Super cute. Cute place but menu isn't very extensive. They only had one dessert on the menu. I did like that they had cocktails but I decided to pass this time.
This place is not just a vibe, the food here is fire! Every dish was delicious! The pho here is really good. They use high quality meats thinly cut to cook when they pour the broth in. I think the beef rib could've been cooked a little longer. It wasn't fall off the bone ribs. The broth is savory. I don't like it when it has too much star anise or sweet so this was perfect. The clay pot keeps the pho warm. Pork chop rice was good. Came with pork, broken rice, egg, meatloaf, and pickled veggies. The pork was a little dry. I really liked the meatloaf. You can't go wrong with egg rolls. It was chicken and veggies. Crunchy with a sweet chili sauce. Gotta wash it down with the Pandan coconut drink. It was really refreshing and hydrating. Will definitely be back!

Even on a very busy and extremely hot day like today, they manage to keep up their professionalism and friendly smiles... PHO here is AMAZING!!! And the BONUS? Unlimited broth... SHORT RIB PHO AND MEATBALLS: 10/10 The meat was so TENDER. The broth was delicious!!! EGGROLLS: 8/10 surprisingly came after we finished our PHO. It was piping HOT though... PANDAN COCONUT DRINK: 7/10 I never saw BLUE Pandan before? It should be green and it tasted more like bubble gum. I would pass on this drink... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Beautiful decor on the ceiling. There were flowers and lamps everywhere. Very nice vibe... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
My first time here and I came with fellow board members after our meeting. Most order the pho but I had the BROKEN RICE: grilled marinated pork topped w/ scallion oil, egg meatloaf, fried egg, cucumbers, pickled radish & carrots, nuoc cham. The egg meatloaf was interesting. I don't think I'm a fan of broken rice but overall it was a good dish with plenty of food. I thought it was interesting that they served the pho dishes without the soup broth. Once the bowls were served, they poured the broth into the bowls. I don't think I heard anyone complain. The restaurant was filled and I sae only one server, but he did a good job being attentive and waiting on all the tables. It was a pretty small restaurant with the Thursday night dinner rush.
Server: Danny. He was very friendly , kind and patient with us, especially since we had a lot of questions before ordering. First things first, if you're looking for vermicelli noodles, they no longer serve them here. That was a little disappointing because I love that dish, and it looked so good in the pictures from previous Yelpers' posts. Their broth was very savory. I enjoyed it. I added the herbs and they poured in the broth for us. I do wish their broth was hotter though but that's a personal preference because I like hot soup. Their homemade sate was interesting in their bowl. A good interesting. It gave it an extra kick. Did not have to put my usual hoisin and Sriracha sauce. I got the meatball + short rib, and my husband got the Pho Nom. The ambience is so beautiful in there. Flowers all over the ceiling. I also got a lychee lemonade and it was so good. Parking: Atrocious. Their pho is on the pricier side, but I recommend it. The quality makes it worth it.
Delicious and portion size is also sooo good! The short rib (boneless) in the pho wasn't too fatty but still tender, and I really liked the flavor of the broth. I also liked the noodle texture and how they had cilantro! The hainan chicken was very tender and soft. I love ginger scallion sauce with chicken! The spring rolls were alright. The noodles inside them were kinda thick, so it was heavy and the whole thing deconstructed really easily so it was difficult to eat. Overall, a really solid spot!
Wow! Quite the flavorful pho. They're generous with their broth & meat portions, and the rare short rib slices were delectable (cooked by the hot broth)! 10/10 recommend. Con: parking in Convoy sucks.
Leyna our servicer checked on us a few times and was very sweet. Danny was also very kind when he first took our order. Viet coffee- yummy! I really like the flavor. The egg foam makes the coffee very smooth and the coffee isn't too overpowering (I don't feel like I'll have a heart attack) but still packs a lot of flavor. I got the chicken pho and the portion was HUGE. Chicken was tender and the most chicken I've had in a pho. Only thing is I wish the broth was a little more flavorful buuuut honestly still good.
Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch. We were a party of 2 and were seated right away. Parking is always a pain in that plaza so just be prepared for that. We ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls for appetizer. They were decent though I felt like they could've been rolled a bit tighter. Everything started falling out after the first bite. We each got a bowl of the Pho Nom. It's definitely a huge serving, especially with the two shanks. The meat was very tender and fell right off the bone. For drinks we got the lychee lemonade and the lychee lotus cocktail. Both were surprisingly so good. They taste very similar, just one has alcohol. Overall my first experience here was good. The drinks were tasty and the food was good. Service was quick as well. The pho was definitely on the pricey side though, so not sure I'd come back as there are so many other affordable but still tasty options out there.
My first time here and I was very impressed and surprised with their presentation! Located on Convoy, Pho Nom shares a parking structure with several other restaurants. It will take a bit of time to find parking. Pho Nom is small inside and from what I saw, could seat about 80 people. They were blasting the AC and you could see it because their decor swayed. They had a bunch of fake plants hanging from their ceiling and it was quite pretty. I will say, paying $18-$20 for a bowl of Pho made my little heart hurt. I was hoping it was the best Pho of my life for that price. I ordered their short rib bowl and waited. The server brought it out without soup, and came back with a kettle to pour our soup into. It was a very nice gesture and quite a sight to see your food being cooked right in front of you. The bowls were huge and very nice. I could see where the dollars went. Their broth was decent and flavorful. They put your bowl with green onions and cilantro. I wouldn't mind stopping by here again. You get your bang for your buck!
Love his concept of pour your own soup because the noodles are a perfect al dente texture instead of being overcooked as it sits in the broth in the kitchen. The pho is delicious with a clean, light, and flavorful broth that tastes like it's been simmered for hours without being overly salty or greasy. The short rib is on the chewier side, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and the fresh herbs and bean sprouts really complete the bowl. The restaurant has a fun, modern atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Zidane and Karen were great! If you're looking for pho with a rich yet light broth and quality ingredients, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Pho Nom is a great place for the classic pho soup and other dishes like broken rice and beef carpaccio. The interior is very unique and pretty, the flowers and greenery really add to the aesthetic. Additionally, our servers Karen and Leyna were very attentive to us and were always making sure everything was good. Would come back!! read more

Leyna was an excellent server! We went on a Monday afternoon and were seated quickly in this picturesque and modern pho joint. Unlike a lot of Pho menus, the selection is minimal, which makes finding the right option really easy and accessible for newcomers. I'd consider this fairly upscale, not your typical pho joint, and the prices are fair overall. The broth was excellent, the meat succulent, and the toppings generous. read more

The aesthetics in here is cute. There was only one waitstaff which makes sense for the smaller space. If you are wanting authentic pho, this is not it. I feel the broth could have perfected better. Disappointed with them pouring the pho broth in front, but mainly the broth lacked a lot of flavor and body to it. There is just something missing and it's giving more Americanized/modern take on pho. There wasn't a wow factor which was unfortunate. I must say they did give good portions and didn't skimp out on the meat. I had ordered the short rib pho and had the tamarind wings. For a place that has pho in its name... the star of the show was the wings. Was looking forward to trying this place, but it will be a one time deal. read more

The short rib pho was so delicious. Great flavor and a very large portion. The lychee cocktail was good but mostly just fruit juice. So don't expect it to taste like any alcohol. The restaurant is small but they were able to seat us pretty quickly on a Friday night. Really cool decor. The employees were friendly and quick with service. I recommend checking this place out if you are looking to grab pho! The parking lot is tricky and gets packed so be mindful of that. read more

We had a reservation on Google for 8:45 But the staff was nice and reserved the sit for us to go on at 6:30pm. Unfortunately, the parking situation was not great, we had to park 5 blocks away. The service at the restaurant was super slow. Looks like all the guests were waiting for awhile. Hour pho came out without broth, and it took a while before the waiter came back to fill it with broth. But the broth was simply not hot enough to cook the boneless short ribs. I did not know the boneless short rib was going to be uncooked meat. I had to ask for a separate bowl of broth to cook the meat. Thankful that they gave it since the meal was not satisfying since I was eating half cooked meat. The broken rice pork meat was colorless. I think they need to work on their fish sauce recipe. We ordered SO much and honestly everything was but I'm gonna highlight my favorites The pho is one of the BEST I've ever had. The broth was rich, flavorful, and you can just tell it was made with so much care. The ribs were super tender and everything in the bowl just hit perfectly. The wings crispy, saucy, and sooo addicting. Paired with the spring rolls... chef's kiss. And of course, the Vietnamese coffee my FAVORITE. As a coffee lover, this was everything strong, smooth, and so satisfying. Also, shoutout to Leyna for making the experience even better She greeted us with the warmest smile, was so welcoming, gave us time, and never made us feel rushed. Stopped by for takeout after driving down from The Bay. The whole mall was packed and it was tough finding a spot. Saw the Hainan chicken sign outside and it sold us. We also ordered the Pho Nom, egg rolls, and shrimp rolls. The pho had a nice broth with two big beef rib bones. The fried egg rolls were nice and crispy. The Hainan chicken with 3 sauces was excellent but they ran out of the chicken rice, and we were subbed the white rice. That was the only con of our takeout order. I came here for dinner with family on a Friday evening. There was a lot of available seating, and the waiters were all incredibly friendly. We ordered three dishes - the Bun Thit Nuong, Pho Num, and pork spring rolls. Out of these, the Pho Num was the star of the night. The meat was extremely tender and fell off the bone super easily. It melted into the broth and added to the soup a rich, fatty flavor. I also quite enjoyed the KBBQ meats and spring rolls in the Bun Thit Nuong. The seasonings of all three dishes weren't too intense - light enough to not be overpowering, but strong enough that each dish had a unique flavor. read more

Went here on a stormy rainy day & it was exactly what we needed. The bone-in meat & the sauce they serve on the veggies & herbs dish with your Pho Nom dish at this place is SO good! And the bowl of pho is GIANT -- it'll take me at least 2-3 sittings to finish the whole thing! Our server James was so sweet & hardworking -- the place was packed & he was moving constantly, but was still able to make us feel like valued customers. We saw this place on Yelp and wanted to try this spot out. The decor at this place was beautiful, with plants and flowers hanging from the ceiling. We got that Pho Nom which was huge, they give you two baby back ribs along with the traditional meat selection. Our server Hoang was attentive and explained the menu to us. This was such a fun pho experience! They pour the broth in at the table and the meat quality was great. The short rib was super tender and the broth was very aromatic. The bowl they serve it in is great at retaining the heat of the soup and the interior design of the place is also very pretty. Our server, Leyna, was very helpful and brought us everything we needed. The pho is really good. Probably best pho in town but the service is just so annoying! Please, please either train the staff or hire more people. My experience could have been so much better. I've been here multiple times, all three times I have to wait 15mins. Pho doesn't take long to make. They set up the bowl of pho and then we had to wait like 10 mins to get the broth poured in while the noodles getting cooled down... which could affect how the pho taste when they pour hot broth in. Today , once again, I came in and the server had to do something in the back and I saw customers waiting and saying to themselves "I guess it's just one of them working" , so my experience isn't unique. I'd eat here once a week if the service was better. I left and went to formoosa today to have taiwanese noodle instead. What a disappointment. I'm writing this review/critique with love, please hire one more person to work. read more

Another hidden gem in Convoy I was not expecting to stumble upon. Came to this plaza for another spot, but it was an hour wait and we were both starving. There was not a wait for this place and surprisingly everything was delicious! Our server was super kind. I got the lychee lotus, which was super flavorful and refreshing and the bone-in pho..it was "pho-nom"inal. I loved the decor inside, especially when you look up and see the pretty hanging flowers. Even though the drinks were yummy, there wasn't that much of selection of drinks to choose from. Other than that things were great! read more
