The boys and I were starving, and we wanted some pho asap. I found Pho Noodle House at the top of Yelp in the area. The food was pretty average. We ordered the House Special Fried Rice ($13.95), and we thought the chicken was bland. There were also only two pieces of shrimp which was pretty disappointing. As for the pho, I ordered the Pho Tai Chin (Steak and Brisket). Both of the meats were chewy and hard to eat. My friend liked the Thai tea here, though! read more

First timers and very disappointed with service. Our mid-aged server seemed anti-social and lacked simple customer service etiquette. Although he brought out our food rather quickly, he never came back to check on us, not even to bring us our check. Had to ask for it 30 mins after finishing our food as it appeared he had no intentions of returning on his own. When he finally brought us our check, he dropped off the credit card machine and walked away without saying a word. Customer service is key and previous negative reviews have fallen on deaf ears. OK Vietnamese and thai food. Trying to mix it up and try somewhere new, not too many Vietnamese restaurants around family in this area besides Soup Shop. Pho Tai: Good broth and noodles, the sides were a but light but at most places we don't use all of them so its great if you plan on finishing the whole thing in one go. Would repeat this. Seafood Tom Yum Soup: The color had a very light color almost like it was curry soup but it did have the hot and sour taste. Unfortunately, everything in it was overcooked and mushy, the vegetables shrimp and artificial crabs would fall apart and disintegrate with every bite. My wife really wanted this and was sad it wasn't great, she ended up having to get some fast food. Wonton Noodle Soup: Was not expecting this, it came with dumplings instead of wontons and very dry chicken. My oldest normally devours this but we had to force him to eat it. I was in the area, and I was in the mood for some pho. I've been to this establishment many times over the years, and I always get the same dish....Chicken Pho. While they have an extensive menu selection of different dishes, it's hard to figure out what to try. While the service is somewhat friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant with clean tables, their chicken pho is delicious. And while this review is about the only dish I try each time, everything on the menu I see is always tempting to try. If you're searching for pho in the area, I'd recommend this place. And I always go after the lunch time has died down. My overall experience is a solid 4 Stars! read more

This place that gave you good service. I was so happy I came here the customer service was great. The place it's great the owner give me a new plate because my order was pork and I told him I don't eat pork but it was my fault and he make me a new one without pork and he didn't charge me. Food came out quickly and was decent. The chicken coconut soup is a winner and keeps us coming back ever so often. The table side manners need major improvement!!! Why does the server put the electronic payment device down on the table for payment while we're still eating? This is consider very rude in American culture, especially when there's no other patrons waiting for the table. Furthermore, why does the server hand us boxes for our leftovers and not offer to transition the food? This is considered very lazy service by American standards. I suggest improving these processes. read more

First - all their COVID adjustments were exactly what is needed to operate. They don't have room for outdoor seating so all their orders are to go. Food wise, it may just be our personal taste, but we didn't care for the food. We visit Little Saigon on a regular basis and there's no comparison. For example, the rice was orangish, almost a Mexican style rice. It was very puffy and had an odd taste for fried rice. We asked for no onions, yet had to pull some out anyway. It seemed like the ratio of ingredients was also off; the amount of sprouts overwhelmed everything else in the rice. The other food was just OK. The serving sizes were great though. read more

Two of my usual spots are closed on Sundays, but I had a major craving for pho so I just had to get my hands on some. Ive ordered from this place before and decided to order from here again to satisfy my craving. Honestly, I have yet to be disappointed because the broth in the chicken pho is pretty tasty. So after a third time ordering from here and no dissatisfaction, I'd say that this spot is on my list of pho recommendations not only for taste, but also the price point isn't too bad and definitely worth it in my opinion. Good place to go if you can't decide between Vietnamese or Thai food. They have quite an extensive menu to choose from, which is great variety. And they even have boba slushies! So far I've been here twice. First time I ordered the Crispy Egg Noodle, second time Pho Dac Biet. Both were good portion sizes and good flavor. Prices definitely have gone up, with a bowl of pho being about $15! But at least they actually gave me plenty of meat and veggies. Small and clean restaurant. Definitely minimal communication with the employees, but food comes out fast, so I can't complain! read more

We did take out and tried a few dishes- Pho Tai and Pho Ga- both were good portions, in my opinion broth was just okay, nothing special. Chicken curry was decent but had no spice which I expect from a curry. I have also never had a "dry curry" so that was different. I was expecting it to be more of soup- similar to what I order at any other Vietnamese or Thai place but this was not. It was served in a bowl like the Pho was but had no soup, no sauce, no juice. This was odd to me but I guess that's how they do it. Spicy Garlic Noodle with Chicken & Vegetable said it was in a spicy red curry sauce- not spicy at all, lacking in sauce and the noodles were overcooked. Honestly tasted more like spaghetti than a Vietnamese dish. All in all, we spent just over $50 to give this place a try and we were sadly disappointed. read more

I ordered the beef Pad Thai and spring rolls and I received the spring rolls and somebodies left over pad thai. The food in the container looked like somebody's leftovers from the restaurant. I was afraid to even attempt to eat it. But I had to at least try it. That was a mistake. It was the most awful tasting food ever. It made me want to throw up. But to be fair, the spring rolls were fine. Needless to say that was the most expensive spring rolls I have ever purchased because the dish went straight to the trash. read more

I love this place! Friendly and helpful service. I come here to dine in and take out and it's def become one of my regular go-to's! They never disappoint! I always get their chicken tom yum. The flavor is so rich and the soup is so filling! It's like a lemongrass chicken broth with veggies. Always cures me if i have a cold. And I usually have enough for the next day! I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, and it pains me to have to write this review. Our family used to eat here at least once a week for years. The owner is extremely nice and hard-working and the food was reasonably priced and tasty. I'm not sure what has happened in the past few years, but things have gone in a wrong direction. Understandably prices have gone up for everyone, so we don't mind paying a few dollars more because we know that the cost of goods has become outrageous. The problem is that many of the dishes we once loved, are majority vegetable and very little protein. So, we pay to add extra protein, and it still seems like the dishes are padded with white and green onions. The food also just seems thrown together now, and has loss it's overall flavor. We've continued eating here hoping that things might improve after covid ended, but it seems like the food quality and portions are going downhill while the prices continue to go up. Today's food was so disappointing that I do not believe we will be returning again. read more

When you order via third party delivery services, some restaurants remain faceless rendering it difficult to distinguish one restaurant from another (and as a result, sometimes repeating ordering mistakes). Hence, this review serves more as a note to self. Vegetarian spring rolls: I would order again. Chicken pho: Broth lacked depth. Tasted like lack of depth was tried to be remedied with MSG. According to review comments, no MSG is used by the restaurant. At the very least, way diluted and overly salted. Chicken SUPER dry and hardened. Do not order again. Shrimp spring rolls: Sloppily rolled and busted open. Looked like shrimp, but didn't taste like shrimp at all. Shrimp had absolutely zero taste? Very strange. Veggie pho: Broth much better than their chicken broth. Did not include typical pho accoutrements. No basil, jalapeño, bean sprouts. No sriracha or hoisin sauce. Don't need to order from here for a long while. read more

My favorite item that I normally ordered at Vietnamese restaurant wasn't good here. I took two bites and ended up taking it home and eventually threw it away. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with shrimp, egg rolls and pork. I was turned off by the amount of bean sprouts they gave me. Who put bean sprouts in a dish like that. It's for pho. My son ordered the shrimp fried rice and he said it wasn't that good. I took a taste of it and thought yuck something weird with the rice. My husband honestly didn't think it was that bad. The leftover shrimp fried rice ended up in the trash. My husband ordered orange chicken and he said it was pretty good. I didn't care for it. The egg rolls tasted better than they looked and the spring rolls were good. My husband was turned off by the fact that they didn't have Vietnamese sandwiches or the beef stew. read more

Nathan always welcomes guests like we're life long friends and he runs such a wonderful restaurant! He is always so accommodating for various special requests, too. My only quibble is that they only have the low carb noodles sporadically. When they don't have the low carb noodles, I don't tend to stay to order, but their food is always so good and it's a serious bummer to leave. That said, their food is so tasty and the service is so wonderful that I give a five star rating anyway. Literally everyone I know who has dined here loves it. Try it and you'll be hooked, too. read more

My husband and I used to come here for pho, and I raved about this place to friends! This was back before they renovated and you'd be a little concerned whether it was the cleanest restaurant... but the food was delicious and excellent, and service was also great. I've tried this place a couple times after renovation, and unfortunately, the flavors are different and prices have gone up quite a bit. It's been disappointing to know that it's just not the same pho shop we used to love. Overall, I personally don't recommend this pho shop anymore, not because of the service or interiors, but really just because we don't find the pho and food as tasty as it once was. read more

We love this place! i just wish they were open on Sundays cause after a wild Saturday night, this is all I crave to help me recover. The egg rolls are wonderfully crispy! The pho broth hits the spot every single time and I love that the meat is never chewy after being cooked in the broth. Came here for the first time. I can't understand the positive reviews here. The waiter who took our order was obviously unhappy to be there. Not a single word from him. He came over to our table and just stood there. Didn't acknowledge what we order. Then just walked away. But the server who brought us our food was far better. He made us feel easier about being here. The pho was just ok. Typical broth you find in most places. Nothing special to note. The pork vermicelli was below average. The noodles were soggy. The pork itself was the wrong flavor profile. It tasted more like chinese stir fry. It wasn't bad per se but definitely did not go well with vermicelli. read more

Today was our first time trying this place. The total was $47. On the menu the orange juice is advertised as "fresh" and it's anything but fresh. They have bought Florida's natural juice. They just poured it in a cup and sealed it. The egg rolls were so burnt and dry. The pad Thai was greasy. I had the everything noodles and they were also so greasy. It was honestly a waste of money. We will not be returning. read more

I like the somewhat starter sweet plain cabbage soup starter, served along with a romaine lettuce side salad with a coupe of grape tomatoes, a teeny piece of avocado and cantaloupe. I wish the soup wasn't so sweet but cabbage is a good of sulforophane - an antioxidant. And they give you an egg roll. I typically order one of the curry dishes - the yellow is probably the ,post popular with pieces of carrot, onions, and potatoes. The coconut and yellow curry is the mildest of the curries, and a tad too sweet im my opinion. But otherwise, I like the coconut milk with turmeric-curry flavor and the generous pieces of chicken. A friend of mine sometimes meets me here for lunch and orders the shrimp pad Thai which is an extra $2 I think. The lunch size portions are smaller than the dinner entree sizes but filling enough for most. Some says from 12 noon to 2 PM you might have to wait. Parking might be a little crowded as there is a laundry next door. Service overall is prompt but sometimes when it's crowded you will have to wait for your order and your food. Overall a really good place for lunch.

So of course, I gave it a try since I love a good deal and I love Thai food. I got the pad see ew with chicken and yellow curry with chicken. Both lunch specials. I did take out so I can't really speak to the ambiance. However, the restaurant isn't too big and it's nothing noteworthy. When placing the online order, they take your payment online so all I had to do was walk in and pick up at the cashier area. When I brought it home, I dug into the food. At first, it didn't look like there was a lot of food, but once I started eating, I noticed that it was actually a fair portion for the pad see ew. The yellow curry was also nice because you were able to select the level of spice. I selected medium and it had a nice heat to it all in all. It was really good. I appreciate that the food wasn't overly salty but had good flavors. The lunch specials also came with some fried wonton looking items which was really tasty as well. I would definitely check it out if you're in the area, even though the appearance on the outside, doesn't look anything special and the location is somewhat questionable. Don't let that deter you from coming in though!

Bbq ribs 3/5: very tender, tastes more like American bbq. Again a bit stingy on the protein with just 4 medium sized ribs and a tiny pinky sized rib (so I guess 1/4 rib?) for $18. Free cream cheese wontons with $50+ order 5/5: Nothing special, just cream cheese, but I always appreciate when a business gives perks like this.

There's something about their khao soi recipe that sets it apart from other places that I've ordered it from. It's SO good! It is my #1 choice for it!
