More like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Nothing bad about this place, but also nothing crazy good about this place. My wife loves soup, whereas I don't care too much for it. But when she's craving soup, this place hits the spot for her. This place is tucked away in the back by the ethnic supermarket, right next to a Mexican restaurant. Typically when i go, I'll order a rice or vermicelli dish... That's how much I don't like soup. But when I am feeling like soup, which is rare... I'll just get a simple bowl with noodles and broth. I'm glad this place has the opinion for that, and a large bowl will only cost you 6 bucks. They will also give you plenty of noodles in the large so it's definitely filling. As for the rice or dry noodle dishes, make sure you ask for a extra bowl of fish sauce so you can add more flavor to your dish. read more

Tasty broth and many items to choose from. I like getting the chicken pho with egg noodles with rare beef brisket. I know it sounds weird but I'm kinda picky with my noodles and broth and I really like this combo. Of course I load it up with fresh basil, bean sprouts, & jalapeños and slurp away! Ordered food for pickup on a Friday night. I didn't know that Postmates charges them 30% even if you pick up your order. I'm definitely directly calling my order in next time. Parking was a bit tight when I went to pick up my order. The restaurant was busy inside even within an hour of closing. I stood in line to pick up the food . There were a few people ahead and no separate line for pickup. I highly suggest checking the temperature of the broth before pouring in the rest of the ingredients. The container said hot so I didn't think twice but it was barely warm. Otherwise the quality of the food was great. The pho broth was tasty. We paid extra to get the large and to add extra meat and the size didn't disappoint. The appetizers were very good as well (tried the egg roll, spring roll and shrimp combo), each very tasty and came with their own special sauce. Very authentic Pho for Yorba Linda. Hubby and I were really impressed with the Pho from here. Hubby is a Pho snob, so he's really particular about his Pho. We both agreed that Pho Vina comes close to what we have in Westminster. We got ourselves 3 bowls of the brisket Pho. Each bowl was about $11 and they gave a decent portion. The brisket was quite tender and the broth was honestly really good. Very clean and flavorful. The Pho noodles have a nice chew to it. We really enjoyed our order. Pho Vina has been our trusty neighborhood vietnamese restaurant when we're feeling a bit too lazy to go to Westminster/Garden. They have everything from rice dishes, noodles, stir fry, and of course, Pho. Their Pho options are priced between $7.50 to $10 depending on the size and protein you choose. At that price, it's hard to ask for more but once you take a sip, you'll definitely notice the care they've put into crafting it. When it comes to the portions, They don't skimp out of the meat or noodles. One pho item we avoid is their chicken pho as the it comes off very dry and the broth doesn't give you that umami flavor you'd get from a restaurant that specializes in it. Their Vermicelli bowls are also priced reasonably and come loaded with vegetables, protein, and noodles. Their rice dishes also offer plenty of protein with two large skewered of each meat when we ordered the Rice with Chargrilled Pork and Shrimp dish. During the pandemic, we've takeout and were happy to see their quality and portions we're affected. What I recommend everyone try after eating a flavor loaded meal is to wash it down with a delicious Avocado Smoothie. Pho Vina is one of the view restaurants that make it just like mom did when you're a kid. Pho Vina's menu is abundant and priced very affordably. I'm glad to say this doesn't take away from the quality and flavor. Pho Vina's noodle soups hit's the mark, especially on those cold days of when you're mending a hangover. One thing to note is they close on Sunday so plan your cravings accordingly. read more
