This place is good but not the best. I think it's probably because of the sauce and the salad. I got the glass noodle with duck salad. The salad had none of the fancy Vietnamese herbs that I would've expected. There's a place in Orange County that does the bun vit better and would probably go there over this place. But you don't really have a lot of options for this type of dish. I came on a Saturday around 12 and there were quite a few people already there. Service is okay - we didn't get our waters until we asked again. And it was hard to get the server's attention. Overall, not terrible but unsure if I would come back again.

At Pho Vit 115, duck is their specialty. Quarter Duck Thigh Salad: There's a bed of shredded cabbage, toasted peanuts, cilantro, and a sweet lime vinaigrette. The generously carved duck seems more like half a duck than a quarter. Each piece is juicy and tender. The tangy vinaigrette is the ultimate sauce for the duck. Dining Area: This spot has about half a dozen booths and half a dozen tables in the middle. Parking: The mini plaza has a fair amount of spots and isn't too busy.

TL;DR - yummy and unique duck on a crispy sweet salad. The broth is really good. Lots of little duck bones are in the meat though so take your time. The duck salad was really unique compared to a lot of the food i usually eat in the 626 area. It wasn't too greasy or salty or anything. Overall it was more lean, flavorful, and especially savory with the dip that comes with the meal. Of note, I really liked the salad that the duck sits on. It's very crunchy, sweet, and has peanuts on it. We also got the duck with glass noodle soup. Its not mentioned on the menu but its a duck salad with a separate medium sized bowl of glass noodles in a classic vietnamese broth (i LOVE this broth but don't know exactly what it is lol ..) The only downside is the number of small duck bones that are still in the duck. You gotta eat it carefully because you'll be constantly spitting out those little pieces throughout your meal. It's just good they cut it up. It's not because they didn't realize it was in there. Overall we had a good time here

Pho Vit 115, located in El Monte, is a local joint that has customers during lunchtime. The scene looks nice and cozy, and the staff members are friendly. I got the duck pho, and the duck is actually on the side. You get a large bowl of soup with noodles. Tasty and delicious! If you want to try something different for lunch maybe this is a nice spot for you!

This is one of the few places in SGV that serves Pho Vit and it's yummy! I don't really like pho noodles so I like that they also offer Bun noodles. The vit is soft and tasty, my dad prefers it to be on the chewier side but I enjoyed it. The bowl it self didn't have that much duck so we ordered 1/2 duck salad on the side to share. Service was great and quick - I think our food came out 5-10 mins after we placed an order. Highly recommend if you're craving vit.

This is one of my moms favorite places to eat, especially because there isn't that many places that specialize in duck. I usually get the mien ga which is the chicken soup with glass noodles and it's so yummy and comforting. but they are known for the duck version which is what my mom likes. the service here is amazing and they really do make sure you enjoy your food. if there is something lacking or something doesn't taste right they will try to adjust it to your liking. it's a little hole in the wall. there was me and another table there but it ended up being a full house around diner time.

Came here a couple of times now for lunch and dinner. The 1/2 duck salad that comes with the "special" is super big and comes with alot of salad. My mom said the salad was the best part. The special now only comes with 1 noodle now! For 2 people you would need to add one plain noodle.

Delicious place for Goi Vit or Duck Salad. We came here and get the dinner special which has half a duck salad and you get 2 free either pho or porridge bowls. We got one of each and I was surprised at how flavorful the pho was. The duck was tasty and flavored well with the sauce. I highly recommend!

The pho and porridge were full of flavor. My favorite is the porridge. The duck is big and meaty... The salad is very refreshing...I love the fish sauce dressing. Great dinner deal. I absolutely love this place. Vietnamese style duck dishes are not sold a lot here, so I was very excited to find out about this place. The food is amazing. Me and my husband shared a half duck salad, he also had duck pho without meat and I had a bamboo duck noodle soup without meat. This is the best way to enjoy the food here. The noodles soup is light, which pair perfectly with the flavorful duck salad. The duck salad was well seasoned. The sweet and slightly sour dressing along with the herbs and veggies brighten up the duck flavor. The duck is fresh and juicy. I used to eat this a lot when living in Vietnam and I am impressed with the authenticity of the food here. The service was excellent. Just had lunch here and it was delicious! It's a new restaurant that took over 5 Star Hue. They have a small menu and specialize in duck. We ordered Pho with no meat, bun mung, and duck salad. The broth was light and flavorful but it's not your typical beef or chicken pho. The duck was very tender, probably the most tender duck I've ever had. The place was clean, service was quick, and the guy in front (maybe the manager but I'm not sure) was very tentative and friendly. It was cheap with good portions. I randomly came upon this place while driving around to look for solid Vietnamese foods. I love Bunh Mang Vit and it's always so hard to find places with the authentic Bunh mang vit taste. Luckily, I dropped by and bought togo. I asked the "owner" (super nice guy) how should I order... I would like a decent portion of Vit for one person. He suggested I get an order of noodle soup with side order 1/4 vit. Which end up about $25. It seems a bit pricey but it was spot on in term of taste. The service was great. Very friendly workers. I was there last week Wednesday with my mom. The place is nice and good has decent air-conditioner. Vincent was not there and only served by a lady in her 30s. She constantly came and asked how was the food. We ordered half duck and shared a large bamboo vermicelli and added a bowl of duck blood. My mom did not like because the bowl is large but mostly soup and not much noodles. Maybe they ran out and didn't tell us? To me the bamboo was good but she said was too chewy. The blood was soft and fresh and similar to what I had when I was in Hong Kong. We still have a lot of duck left over and asked for to- go box. The lady gave us a small sauce to go which was nice. read more

Spent ~$36 on their #1 duck noodle soup (large) and #2 duck noodle soup w/ bamboo (large). Both came with very little meat; mostly bone pieces and no breast meat. There are a lot of positive reviews with dishes filled with meaty pieces, but mine was not the case. Not sure if bone pieces are reserved for noodle soup or for take-out customers. read more

This review is long overdue. I've ordered from here a handful of times now. Duck noodles aren't very common and this place nails it. My family and I love the bamboo duck noodles. The flavor is delicious and we keep coming back at least every other week. I love how they have the soup and noodle option for those that do not want any duck for half the price. The price is also very reasonable considering how much everything costs nowadays. Portion is more than enough, my mom and I normally shares one. The service is great. Delicious food and good service. I got the duck pho I LOVE soup and I ate it all up even though I was full. I couldn't help myself. And, that ginger sauce I don't know what's it's called was so divine. Nom, nom. Got the lemon tea and it was perfect. Music and setting was wonderful. People coming in and out and friends meeting up. I'm 80% sure the curry was good but what i 100% sure is the food preparer had a bad hair day. Not only a strand of her hair gets caught in my bread but at least 2 or more strands were in my bread. Got 2 rotisserie chickens for $42 and medium sides of beans and rice. All good and the chickens will help me out for the work week.
