This place is good but not the best. I think it's probably because of the sauce and the salad. I got the glass noodle with duck salad. The salad had none of the fancy Vietnamese herbs that I would've expected. There's a place in Orange County that does the bun vit better and would probably go there over this place. But you don't really have a lot of options for this type of dish. I came on a Saturday around 12 and there were quite a few people already there. Service is okay - we didn't get our waters until we asked again. And it was hard to get the server's attention. Overall, not terrible but unsure if I would come back again.

At Pho Vit 115, duck is their specialty. Quarter Duck Thigh Salad: There's a bed of shredded cabbage, toasted peanuts, cilantro, and a sweet lime vinaigrette. The generously carved duck seems more like half a duck than a quarter. Each piece is juicy and tender. The tangy vinaigrette is the ultimate sauce for the duck. Dining Area: This spot has about half a dozen booths and half a dozen tables in the middle. Parking: The mini plaza has a fair amount of spots and isn't too busy.

TL;DR - yummy and unique duck on a crispy sweet salad. The broth is really good. Lots of little duck bones are in the meat though so take your time. The duck salad was really unique compared to a lot of the food i usually eat in the 626 area. It wasn't too greasy or salty or anything. Overall it was more lean, flavorful, and especially savory with the dip that comes with the meal. Of note, I really liked the salad that the duck sits on. It's very crunchy, sweet, and has peanuts on it. We also got the duck with glass noodle soup. Its not mentioned on the menu but its a duck salad with a separate medium sized bowl of glass noodles in a classic vietnamese broth (i LOVE this broth but don't know exactly what it is lol ..) The only downside is the number of small duck bones that are still in the duck. You gotta eat it carefully because you'll be constantly spitting out those little pieces throughout your meal. It's just good they cut it up. It's not because they didn't realize it was in there. Overall we had a good time here

Pho Vit 115, located in El Monte, is a local joint that has customers during lunchtime. The scene looks nice and cozy, and the staff members are friendly. I got the duck pho, and the duck is actually on the side. You get a large bowl of soup with noodles. Tasty and delicious! If you want to try something different for lunch maybe this is a nice spot for you!

This is one of the few places in SGV that serves Pho Vit and it's yummy! I don't really like pho noodles so I like that they also offer Bun noodles. The vit is soft and tasty, my dad prefers it to be on the chewier side but I enjoyed it. The bowl it self didn't have that much duck so we ordered 1/2 duck salad on the side to share. Service was great and quick - I think our food came out 5-10 mins after we placed an order. Highly recommend if you're craving vit.

This is one of my moms favorite places to eat, especially because there isn't that many places that specialize in duck. I usually get the mien ga which is the chicken soup with glass noodles and it's so yummy and comforting. but they are known for the duck version which is what my mom likes. the service here is amazing and they really do make sure you enjoy your food. if there is something lacking or something doesn't taste right they will try to adjust it to your liking. it's a little hole in the wall. there was me and another table there but it ended up being a full house around diner time.

Came here a couple of times now for lunch and dinner. The 1/2 duck salad that comes with the "special" is super big and comes with alot of salad. My mom said the salad was the best part. The special now only comes with 1 noodle now! For 2 people you would need to add one plain noodle.

Delicious place for Goi Vit or Duck Salad. We came here and get the dinner special which has half a duck salad and you get 2 free either pho or porridge bowls. We got one of each and I was surprised at how flavorful the pho was. The duck was tasty and flavored well with the sauce. I highly recommend!

The pho and porridge were full of flavor. My favorite is the porridge. The duck is big and meaty... The salad is very refreshing...I love the fish sauce dressing. Great dinner deal. It was my parents first time and they enjoyed it. Will be back to try out their chicken. It's in a small plaza with plenty of parking. Service was good.

I was just here for lunch today!! Food is amazing!! Their Duck Salad is a must have! It is prepared similar to the style of Hainan Chicken. The duck blood pudding is silky smooth, clean and fresh! I've never had duck pho before. But I saw it on Facebook group and had to try. I kinda love how clean it is. There's not really duck within the photo, but it's a duck salad on the side. The duck is boiled, doused with ginger sauce, and sitting atop a cabbage salad. I love! The soup is very clean. It soothes. The service was 5 stars. They're nice and so accommodating. My bf was disappointed they didn't have beer but they did have passion fruit soda. And he was happy with that. It's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I'll def visit again. read more

The duck broth is very clean and a bit on the sweet side. Pho Vit 115 is so delicious and unique to me since this is a specialty restaurant specializing in Vietnamese duck noodle soups, vermicelli, salad dishes. This place is a must if you're like me and LOVE duck. I wish there were more locations since I don't think we have something like this in the Bay Area. I got the special duck vermicelli soup (with bamboo shoot) and my husband got the duck pho vįt. They both come with a duck salad on the side. The broth is so flavorful and comforting. The duck was not fatty and the food tasted clean and healthy. I could eat this once a week if I lived closer!!! Pho, love it! Duck, love it! Gave Pho Vit a try. Upon entering the restaurant, you can see the modern and clean interior. You don't go to a pho spot for the interior but it's nice to eat a place that does if the food is any good. Didn't know what to order other than getting duck something or the other. The waitress recommended the duck noodle soup. Said that everybody likes it. So I just went with the Reco. How was the food? The soup came out with the side duck salad. Everything looked good. Happy to see chopped chilis in the table. Had to start with adding them to my finger sauce. The noodle soup was light but tasty. The noodles were delicate and matched well with the broth. Everything in the soup worked together. I believe there were long stringy mushrooms and while chewy tasted great with the duck that i dunked into the broth. The duck salad was yummy. A lightly sweet fish sauce dressing. I love the ginger fish sauce and the chilis. I haven't eaten this soup before so I'm not a pro but I will say the duck, the salad and the soup all worked together. Some mentioned the portion size which I could've used more duck but wasn't mad that it was some pigmy duck. Service was friendly and attentive which is a plus at an Asian restaurant. Introduction: I like eating duck therefore when I saw a Vietnamese establishment offering duck pho, I opted to give it a try. Food: Bun Mang Vit: The broth is clean, light, and flavorful and the vermicelli noodles complement it well. The duck is done well within the format of the Vietnamese culinary tradition; I am more accustomed to the texture and flavors of roast duck that's commonly found in Cantonese cuisine. However, the duck blood is good: it's smooth and very tender. Chao Vit: I like the duck porridge here: the texture is neither too thick nor watery. It's not easy finding a duck porridge in which the flavors of the duck can be evidently tasted with each spoonful; usually the flavors of duck porridges that's offered at other restaurants are too light. What I like most about this porridge is the fact there's traces of duck fat present in the porridge thereby making each spoonful taste fragrant and wholesome. Ambiance: Classy, clean, and tasteful. Service: The staff are polite and cordial. Price: Reasonable. read more

Food had reminded my aunt and uncle of vietnam! Surely tastes good and worth the wait, honestly when i had gone there was a 5-10min wait for the food. We got the 1/4 duck salad, bun mang vit (duck noodles with bamboo), and pho vit. All dishes comes with the duck and salad on the side. We also got 3 banh mi's togo; soft and crispy bread! The ginger fish sauce was really good. I definitely like this place more than the pervious one. The decor is nothing different than before. I don't write reviews too often anymore, but waned to support this small business. The service is attentive and restaurant is clean. The half duck (#3) was meaty and flavorful with good portion sizes. Make sure to add porridge or noodles (can't go wrong with either). My husband also enjoyed the duck blood while I was a fan of the duck curry (#12). We'll definitely be regulars here. There aren't too many restaurants that specialize in duck so I hope they're here to stay! read more

They handed us a yogurt drink at the end, probably to help regulate our gut. Haha overall we will be back when we are in the area!

Hope they are able to train their staff to handle these issues better in the future and talk to their kitchen team to double-check orders are fully completed to prevent other customers from having a similar poor experience.
