One of the Raptors we bought in Texas
    David R.

Be very careful when you contact the sales department at this particular Ford dealership. I was in the market for 3 Ford F150 Raptors. I made one phone call asking the manager if he had the vehicles I was looking for. We needed two regular Raptors and one raptor R and he did not have them in stock. I said thank you he, apologized, I said no need, it was a nice conversation! The next day I received a phone call from a girl who was nice but had no idea what she was doing. I explained to her what I needed and that I already talked to the manager and that I was in no longer in need of their help. A couple minutes later the manager called me back, said something about the fact that was talking to a new employee and that would take me off or whatever they call it, because I was no longer in need of their services. Two days later we went to Texas and we bought the three trucks we were looking for. Driving the trucks back from Texas took two days and both days we heard from this particular dealership. Again we explained that we no longer needed anything and that we were calling from California and we bought the vehicles in Texas. I was told my would be taken off the list. Fast forward three weeks and I have received five or six more calls, today's call was at 8:30 at night and then when I called the number back and the sales person realized he called me at 8:30 at night he hung up on me. Then I called the dealership and they ignored my call. Then I called back again and I talked to the person in charge, he's not a manager he's just the person in charge who told me that there was not a manager available but that he would take my name off of the calling list. When I started to tell him how many times I've been contacted he interrupted me and didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I even asked him why he's interrupted me and he said that he didn't want to listen to my story. If you're looking for a new car and if this is the dealership that you decided to do business with make sure you don't give them your real phone number because they will harass you for weeks and weeks after your visit. They will call your house in the middle of the World Series at 8:30 PM multiple times and then just hang up on you.

This Ford dealership has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are extremely incompetent and ignorant to say the least.

I'm kind of shocked I'm writing a positive review for a car salesman, but Kelly at Pierre Ford truly deserves recognition.

BE AWARE OF UPCHARGING DIAGNOSTIC TESTS + POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more I had a very negative and stressful experience at this shop. I took my car in for an issue I clearly explained: broken hoses due to visible coolant leaks onto pavement and spraying coolant everywhere under the hood. Despite this, they insisted on performing expensive diagnostic tests (compression leak, dye test, and pressure test) that I thought were unnecessary. They gave me an estimate of $750 to replace the 2 broken heater hoses. I told them I'd call them back to authorize repairs after I speak with the mechanic who had replaced the radiator hoses in August 2024. This mechanic quoted me $225 to replace all 4 heater hoses, since they tend to age together. When I called Lake City Autoworks back, they told me the work had already been done even though I never authorized it. Instead of acknowledging they had made a mistake by completing work I never authorized them to do, they gave me an ultimatum: pay the $750 or allow them to reverse the repair and reinstall the broken hoses, but I was still stuck with $500 for diagnostic fees, which was never discussed or mentioned to me upfront. I tried to contest the fees, especially because compression leak and dye test are usually done when suspecting head gasket failures, and pressure test is usually done when there might be occult leaks. My car showed clear, visible coolant leaks, so I thought a visual inspection was all that was needed to confirm the diagnosis, especially since I could see/photograph the broken hoses without getting underneath the car. Nothing I said mattered, so my car was being held hostage by their 2 ridiculous choices. I had to ask a friend to speak on my behalf because I was completely frustrated and pushed into fight-flight-freeze mode. Whether it was because I threatened to leave a 1-star review and report them to the BBB, or because my friend was a male, but they offered to zero out my account. Through my friend, I was able to tell them I was willing to pay the $225 (though my friend relayed "$250") as quoted by another mechanic, but I wanted to speak to the service writer and the owner, after we all cooled down, because I wanted to find out what happened that caused unauthorized work to proceed and whether they routinely upcharge by adding unnecessary diagnostic fees. Surprisingly, they shut down all further communications, stating "we're good, and we've moved on." In essence, when I requested to hold off on my repairs until I could speak to my mechanic, they ignored my request, and when I requested to discuss what happened to cause all emotions to fly sky high, they declined my request. In between, there were some shady business. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. They lack transparency, engage in upselling unnecessary services, and provide poor customer service. I went to them once for a repair that they couldn't find the parts for, and for an oil change ($116, the most expensive oil change I ever had on my 1998 Camry). They do have good reviews and a few not-so-good-ones. Just be aware: this type of experience is potentially in the mix. I hope you catch them on a good day! NOTE: posting this on YELP b/c Google reviews mysteriously disappeared.

Two months after moving to the area and purchasing a 2017 Mercedes-Benz from CarMax, her car began backfiring due to a failed camshaft--a known issue with this model. Shoreline Auto Clinic completed the initial repair, which was covered by the CarMax extended warranty. However, a week ago, the new camshaft failed. This time, the warranty company sent the car to Mercedes-Benz in Lynwood, who estimated the repair at over $9,000. Mercedes-Benz claimed the new failure was Shoreline Auto Clinic's fault for not replacing 'recommended' additional parts, voiding the warranty coverage. Jori at Shoreline Auto Clinic fiercely defended his work. Even while on vacation, he stayed engaged and proved the failure wasn't due to missing parts, but rather a design flaw in the camshaft itself (a fault Mercedes-Benz corrected in 2019). Jori even made a video comparing the faulty part to a new one, clearly showing the camshaft head had spun. Thanks to Jori's diligence, the extended warranty agreed to cover the repairs a second time, and my tenant got her car back. Jori's commitment went above and beyond--he stayed fully engaged in a dispute between the warranty company and Mercedes-Benz out of genuine care for his customer. I highly recommend Shoreline Auto Clinic for their expertise, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
