This is to the 'person' who complained about an 'older server' who communicated that he or she could not take an order from another guest trying to have and enjoy their dining experience. If your child is screaming in a restaurant, you should remove your child until they calm down and can rejoin your family, and other guests who are dining, and want to have an enjoyable evening and 'bites' with their friends and/or family. You should not throw a server 'under the bus' on social media when it was YOU who ultimately contributed to other guests having a not so pleasant dining experience. As a retired Server, I can relate, and respect, the Server communicating that he or she was having difficulty providing service to another table/guests, because you allowed your child to disrupt other guests wanting a nice evening out. We come here every year on vacation as we have always had good customer service. Our server, Johnboy, was attentive and took good care of us. We were seated immediately upon walking in and John took our drink orders. Our food is always good here. We ordered the crab dip and it was delicious as always. I love their blue crabs so I ordered 8 and the rest of my party ordered fried shrimp and they enjoyed their meals. If you like Maryland crabs then you will love the crabs here. They are coated in old bay and served hot to your table. They are large in size and I have never had any that tasted bad, which you always expect to have one crab that doesn't taste just right. We opted for the house margaritas and the waitress brought out 2 for each of us (because they were 2 for 1, however we weren't planning on getting 2 each so that was a pleasant surprise). We had a wonderful meal. I have to disclose that Pinchers paid for most of it with a Gift Certificate. We had a really mediocre meal at the Pinchers in Gulf Coast Town Center. Pinchers wanted to demonstrate that they could do better. They did. I can recommend the Tin City location any day. It's almost as if the two location aren't even part of the same company. We had a waiter named Bobby and he was just superb. Even on a busy night he took time with our order. btw - I strongly recommend that you use the Call Ahead for the Tin City location. You can also request a water view on the patio if you Call Ahead. Those seats are always at a premium. We both ordered Blackened Grouper. My wife got the platter and I got the sandwich. This is about as good as Grouper gets. I'm always hesitant with fish sandwiches since so many places buy their rolls at the local grocery store. It was nice to have a real hamburger roll here. Congratulations on doing it properly. The sides were all very nice. I was surprised how good my beans were. Someone here knows how to cook string beans. I have to compare this location to The Dock at Crayton Cove since both offer seating next to the water. The food at Pinchers is far better than anything you'll find at the The Dock. Ok, you can't throw bread at the ducks here but you can have a superior meal. Pinchers proved to me that they actually do know how to do it right. Also, the parking is really easy here. Restaurant is dirty and has a nasty odor. We were there with several family members so we stayed. Server was covered in sweat and we had to continually ask for our beverages. The food, well, the salmon was just ok. Three of us had the black grouper and it was past it's prime. Sitting on the plate in liquid and tasting VERY fishy. Everything else was just "ok". This place is so adorable inside. It's like a miniature museum and the hostess sat us right along the glass so we had an amazing view of the water and all the boats. Anika was super sweet and attentive and she knew how to write her name upside down so we would be able to remember in case we forgot but I thought that was pretty cool! We started with a the cheesy crab dip (amazing!) and eventually ordered the grouper and the shrimp tacos and both dishes were absolutely amazing. I think they may be understaffed, but I know many places are right now so I won't judge that. We ordered the grouper nuggets, popcorn shrimp, and grouper tacos. The fried items tasted a bit like the oil was old and had way too much breading. The tacos were OK, I had them lightly blackened. I prefer fish tacos with cabbage over romaine lettuce. I've always had great service here, all staff is eager to help and great everyone with smiles. The only reason I give it 5 stars is because there are not a ton of options for non seafood eaters but it is a seafood restaurant. Based on the happy hour 2-4-1 drink all day, the pleasant staff and the nice location it's 5 stars.
