This is not my favorite Pinkberry. I think it really has to do with the location. It is located in this heavily populated small sliver of a strip known as K-Town by Herald Square. Whenever i come in here, it is insanely packed inside, and out on the street. Forget about ever finding a seat to enjoy your dessert. That is really my only complaint. However, whenever i come here with friends, we always have a blast. Of course the frozen yogurt and toppings are always amazing. I am a bit boring, and always order the original yogurt, strawberries, kiwi and mangos toppings. Nothing too exciting. Overpriced and poor customer service. Menu with prices is located on the right wall when you first enter as opposed to near the yogurt itself. You have to pay before you get can even look at what topping options they have in stock. $7 for a small with (4) toppings. $8 for a medium with (6) toppings. And $10+ for a large with toppings. They are very stingy and will measure the yogurt to make sure they don't give you too much. And they give very little of each topping. Barely a scoop. The woman who helped us was very rude and impatient with the toppings selection. I do not recommend this location. read more

First of all I love pink berry and have no problem with the product. I came into an empty store (which may have been a sign) k-town was very busy with lines in most places. I stood at the counter for a while while Jasmine was at the register ignoring me not doing anything. Came here tonight for dessert after a nice dinner with my cousin and his girlfriend. They let us try samples of the frozen yogurt flavors before choosing one. I ordered a small cup of the pear and mango (split), with toppings -- the fruit bubbles and gummy bears. I thought the service was pretty slow and the system wasn't as efficient as it could've been. They stacked up a bunch of people's orders, and the people were stacking up too waiting to choose their toppings as their fro-yo was melting in front of them. We were around when they closed. A guy came in to order and the guy at the register denied serving him and told him he was closed. A girl came in a couple of seconds after that guy left and essentially begged the guy at the register to serve her. He pointed out that "[he] just denied the other guy, how would that look?", but he ended up serving her anyway. I thought this was very unprofessional and unfair of him to do. I don't get Pinkberry often but I do like the brand and this location in particular. I find myself here whenever I'm running errands in KTown. Never less than $6, even a small with toppings is too much for me. But I don't really like sweets. Pete and I usually get a large and share it. My favorite flavor is green tea when available but the original flavor is also good. I little sweet for my taste. I looooove the toppings! I love fruits, mochi, chocolate pearls and nuts. I never get sprinkles or coconut or things like that. It's a great spot to grab dessert after you get Mandoos in the area. Although I don't frequent Pinkberry often, it seems to do the trick whenever I go. This location is pretty standard compared to the few other shops I've visited. I got cookies and cream in a cone. The flavor was what you'd imagine and left me satisfied. The cone part was what you'd expect as well. Every once in awhile I'll get soggy cones from other ice cream/froyo establishments, so it's always nice to get one that still has its crunch. I appreciated that the staff were patient throughout the ordering process because the person I was with was mildly indecisive and had some questions. They've got a lot of kind yogurt ice cream but always I ordered same thing. I love Pinkberry and their yogurt ice cream is deadly delicious to me. Limited seating but you can get to seat if you're lucky. This location was all the time difficult to get seat even late night too. All the staffs were not friendly but some of staffs were friendly. I usually buy yogurt ice cream for to-go after eat here but I didn't to do that this time. I could find other location easily than before cuz Pinkberry has many of locations now. This place is horrible. My first experience was great no issues there was only one person working and he was really helpful and chill. My second experience was just ridiculous. Only one employee was working behind the yogurt stand and her name was Jasmine. Disgusting attitude I've ever encountered. I asked for a sample cause I wasn't sure what flavor I had before. I asked for the lava swirl and she told me it was down. I had no issues and just asked for another flavor. I just went with that flavor and was waiting for her. I'm guessing she asked me what size but me and my boyfriend just couldn't hear her. So instead of being polite and just repeating herself. She throws her arms up in the air waiting for me to respond. I just told her what was wrong and she says "we have three sizes, SML". With a really rude tone. I go for the small and when she's done putting the yogurt into the cup, she talks to me in this slow tone like I'm stupid. So of course I was so thrown off guard cause I'm sitting there thinking if I did something wrong. So I tell her my toppings. My boyfriend calls her out on her attitude and tells her to chill out cause it's unnecessary. She's completely ignores him. Then proceeds to still talk to me like I'm stupid and tells me that they can only do 4 toppings. At that point I'm really angry and shaking up but I'm not the one to really cause a scene especially if I think I did something wrong. The guy who was working there checks us out for my yogurt. My boyfriend literally tells the guy to talk to the girl because she has a bad mouth and it's not okay to talk too people like that. He just completely ignores my boyfriend and proceeds to just rush us to pay. Just a side note there are many reviews about this once employee and she still has her job. Pinkberry please do better. Overall, do not go to this location. This is the worse experience I think I ever had with an employee. Pinkberry is great! I like this location in particular because of its proximity to BCD, where I love to eat (lol). They always have rotating flavors along with some standard flavors that are always there. I like how tart the flavors are (definitely recommend starting with pomegranate if you like fruity flavors) and the variety of fresh fruits that are available as toppings. I'm not a huge fan of desserts and don't have much of a sweet tooth (as indicated by my lack of toppings) but every so often I crave a frozen yogurt, particularly the nuttier flavors. I was in the area and saw Pinkberry and decided to go in about a half an hour or so before closing. I ordered the small peanut butter and split it, and the quality of the frozen yogurt was fantastic, definitely on par with Red Mango and the other well known yogurt shops. There wasn't really a lot of seating though, which I can imagine becomes a problem in the daytime, and I really wish they let you make your own yogurt and charge you based on weight so you can add multiple flavors in different quantities for each. That is part of the charm of a good frozen yogurt place for me. I might go back to this location someday to try some of the other flavors. read more

I can't believe I didn't throw in a review of this place. I must have had a brain infarct! Wow, my first (and only) visit here was over the summer...August I think. My friend dragged me here. My first exposure to fro'yo's was at the opening of red mango down the block the summer prior i think (can't remember..dang this memory of mine is slipping). And I enjoyed it. So back to Pinkberry, I forgot the flavor I got but anyway it was def great. This in comparison to the place down the block PLUS since I moved to philly I've tried one other philly place and guess what? I don't remember the name of the person who was working on this day but if these are the kind of employees that are allowed to work here then this location should seriously expect to barely get any service at all. I took my girlfriend here just to treat her to some frozen yogurt and this black woman with box braids (I believe that's what her hair was) that was serving the yogurts was absolutely disrespectful and she was essentially bullying my girlfriend. My girlfriend asked for a sample of one of the flavors and afterwards the server asked my girlfriend what size would she like. My girlfriend didn't hear her so instead of the employee asking her again nicely, she stands there looking at her impatiently, and then she threw her arms in the air and looked at her sideways. I immediately noticed this but I didn't say anything the first time around because I thought that she was simply playing around. Shortly afterwards, as she was asking my girlfriend which toppings she would like the lady continued to give my girlfriend an attitude, gave her rude looks and tried making her feel like she was acting "stupid." It was at that point I told the woman that she was "doing too much" and that she needed to chill out with her attitude but she simply ignored me and tried to act like she didn't hear me. I tried telling one of the male employees about her attitude at the register but he simply ignored me and didn't even try to help me out. After we had left, my girlfriend was crying in anger and then she started questioning if she did anything wrong during that entire encounter when she was completely innocent and I was left feeling furious afterwards. Overall, this was just a pretty terrible experience and the fact that this woman tried to put my girlfriend down like that was completely uncalled for and it really messed up our day afterwards. UPDATE: I looked at other peoples reviews here and not only did I find a picture of the woman but apparently I am not the only person who has had a nasty encounter with this employee. Like every other Asian in the city, I've done time... in the Pinkberry line on 32nd. I've been here countless times, the latest visit being last week because I'd heard about the new coffee flavor. I have to admit that I actually liked it unlike 90% of my dining companions. If you've ever had coffee yogurt and like the sour note at the end, you'd like it. Ask them for a sample if you want try it for yourself. I paired it with strawberries. I heard they are weighing the froyo now. My cup was surprisingly less than full... Word on the street is that Starbucks invested millions into Pinkberry to help with expansion (if you haven't noticed, they are proliferating across the city), so is it really any surprise that PB came out with a coffee flavor? I wonder when this froyo craze will be over. As much as I like PB, I don't love it. I won't go hugely out of my way to get it. They are opening one on my street, I expect that they'll be getting more of my hard-earned cash in future months. read more

This is the worst Pinkberry. Dale is a horrible staff. I went to the 32St Pinkberry on 9/6. No one served me and I was the only customer. The reps were restocking the cups but they saw me and ignored me. Finally, this girl Dale came to me with unhappy face. I told her I wanted to get my birthday treat and she said the machine is down. I explained to her that I came today and I was told the machine is working. (I came 2 times and the machine was down). She completely ignored what I said and chatted with her coworkers. I spoke to her again. She said the pinkberry card machine is down. I was very upset and complained how many times I came here. She did not care. Gave me back the card with careless face. Finally someone came and offered me a free yogurt because I came so many times. Steven was nice and chill and got me a yogurt. He was very pleasant. This should be the customer service that consumers should have gotten. I felt better after he helped me. I emailed Pinkberry with my experience and I asked for money back from the pinkberry card I have. It is meaningless to have money in the card and the machine is ALWAYS not working. I always loved Pinkberry especially because they have so many flavors. My go to was the original tart but after trying all of the current flavors, I went with the pomegranate. It was so delicious and perfect for after having a spicy dinner. I always get the cheesecake toppings (you have to ask for this topping, I am not sure why all Pinkberry locations hide this topping) and gummy bears. The sugar biscuit is not worth it, doesn't taste like anything. The brownie bites were bitter. All other toppings I had were great. read more

I have to get this off my chest before I get into the ambiance and vibe of the store. I remember when their froyo version was so different compared to the UES Pinkberry, in that the colors were all the same. LIKE WHAT! No matter the flavor, they all had the same color as the original(white). So you can only imagine my confusion when I asked to sample the matcha lemonade and am brought a small sample of white colored froyo. The flavor was awesome but it was so confusing for my tastebuds. Like I was seeing the color of the Original froyo and expecting it to taste like the Original, but then I'm met with an explosion of bitter then sweet and sour taste of the Matcha Lemonade. Other than that, the store is kept well and the staff there are pretty nice. They let you sample the flavors in peace and do not rush their customers out the door despite the store being small. Since this location of Pinkberry is located in Ktown, it is more crowded and loud during noon. So if you dislike the rush of NYC , I suggest you come here before noon during the summertime. read more

Pink berry has been adapted to fit in the city, this location is somewhat different in style of service but offers the same product. I ordered a large peanut butter flavored cup which they filled for me. Rather than price by weight, this pink berry has set portions for the yogurt. Some toppings also mean an extra charge of .50$ per scoop. Not knowing this I asked for a few of the toppings - the worker added these toppings and told me its on the house due to an earlier confusion (very nice of you sir). The cup was a decent size but I was able to finish it before arriving back at my office three blocks away. The peanut butter flavor is also pretty weak. Halfway through I practically forgot what flavor it was that I ordered. Toppings come scarce with employees lacking a heavy hand. (I usually pile on the toppings at self service stations). All in all it was ok, not bad, not good. Good service, clean shop, ok yogurt, lacking toppings.
