    Salt water damage on our floors

    Gerrod came out with Pipe Doctor 24/7, via One Guard Home Warranty. The reason for the call was, the plumber that installed our Charger Water Softener in June neglected to install a tube on the overflow elbo. We have salt water on the floor, which is eating the paint and the cement on the floor. Gerrod, saw there was a missing tube, took pictures of the elbo and took pictures of the floor damage. Gerrod told One Gurad that this issue was due to lack of maintenance. Not sure what a missing tube has to do with maintenance? So we called the manufacturer, there is no maintenance on our unit. Pipe Doctor 24/7 sent me a quote for $695.00 to do maintenance on the water softener. I replied to them and told them what the manufacturer said about, there is no maintenance on our unit, no word back. This is company a scam, and trying to rip homeowners off. Do not, repeat, do not use this company.

    Diagnostic report

    So it wasn't the pilot assy. I replaced the control module and gas valve which was around 200 in parts. Took me about 1.5hr, due to a slow to drain tank. Overall was able to save about 2500-3000 by not using this company'. Avoid avoid avoid

    475$ for this digging, total 1025$ for changing pressure regulator valve( which costs 100$ on amazon) .

    Requested service through home warranty to change pressure regulator valve, they charged me 1025$ out of pocket, and 475$ of it is for this digging. I asked how they decided on this price is it hourly rate or depth? They said standard fee, okay but i would really really appreciate if you could tell me i asi could do it myself so i could save some! Other than that plumber guy was very nice, very professional, communicative.

Just as importantly, they took the time to clearly explain areas that were not a concern and documented a thorough review outlining why those aspects of the home were in good condition, information that will be extremely valuable for future home inspections or potential buyers. Each team member was knowledgeable, responsive, and thorough in addressing my concerns, making what could have been a stressful situation feel manageable and well-handled. When people speak of organizations that deliver top-tier service, this is exactly the kind of company they mean. AirCo has earned my trust and will be my first call for any future needs.

    We did not purchase an entire new AC system/compressor/furnace with Jon Paul M. for the following…read morereasons: 1. He charged $675 to fill coolant and run a leakage test when he knew there was a 90% chance beforehand my evaporator coil was leaking and it would not be worth replacing the evaporator coil for $4500. He only offered a $675 credit towards a new system after I complained. 2. When I texted him a question about the new system quotes last year, he ghosted. Yet he emailed me four days later asking if I was ready to purchase a $17k system. Four days to decide on a $17k system without answering questions or receive other bids is not enough time. He cares more about making the commission than answering questions. 3. Jon Paul kept pushing the top of the line variable Daikin for $17k. Yet Shields AC & Heating in Lockhart said the DH7VSA compressor has a lot of firmware and software bugs communicating with the thermostat. Shields said it's not worth all the rebates and incentives. 4. Airco only offers a three year labor warranty through Airco. Yet they do not tell you that Daikin and Goodman offer an extended ten year labor warranty through Asure for $850. Daikin owns Goodman. 5. Jon Paul's quote did not include new return and supply plenum, unless he didn't specify. He only mentioned spraying the existing supply plenum with mold killer. 6. Jon Paul did not suggest moving the entire system 3 - 4 feet in the attic to reduce static pressure. Three other companies suggested moving the entire system. 7. When I asked Jon Paul what the difference was between the $17k variable Daikin and $15k variable Daikin, his response was, "More features and stuff." I need someone more articulate. 8. Jon Paul did not run a Manual J test. Ultimately, we ended up paying $12.1k with Jurnee Mechanical for a variable Goodman GXV6S condenser which included new return and supply plenum, moving the entire system 3 - 4 feet in the attic, 10 year extended labor warranty through Trinity, free maintenance for two years, and Reme Halo UV light.
