We arrived a little before noon on Saturday and was able to beat the lunch rush. You pay first and they bring the order to you afterwards. I ordered the Gyros Pita Combo (comes with pita, fries or rice and a drink) and my boyfriend got the Kafta Kabab Plate. The gyros was really flavorful and tender but I wish it had more veggies like some lettuce. It only had one slice of tomato and white onions at the bottom. The fries were also not as crispy as I'd like and not seasoned at all. They also charge 25 cents for a side of tzatziki sauce. It also seemed like they used regular rice instead of the thinner Basmati rice. The Kafta was good but wish it was a little more tender. Overall, the food was just okay. Walking in I noticed that they have food in trays which made me question the freshness--after deciding to push through and order I got a chicken shawarma plate and a gyro sandwich. Like others, the chicken was super dry, like Palm Springs dry. After saucing it up I was able to get it down. Sides were decent. The gyro wasn't that spectacular at all as well. Ordered a shrimp giro and chicken tenders. Both were horrible. It was loaded with mayo with lettuce and 3 shrimps. The chicken tenders were overt fried and dried like card board. The food is great, I normally get the individual plates all the time but this time, I ordered their dinner option for catering. They told me two orders of it would be enough for 15 people and it most certainly was not enough for 15 people at all. I ended up having to cut each skewer in half and even that didn't help. So. friggin. good. I come here often for lunch. If you're coming during the lunch rush hour, I'd call in your order and take it to go. The parking is really bad right now since they closed down the parking lot next door for construction. I used to get the kid's chicken schwarma pita sandwich with salad or the chicken schwarma plate. After a good workout one day I decided to give Pita Grill a try due to it looking like a worthy Mediterranean place with plentiful healthy options. The menu was packed with all types of plates, bowls,and salads. Most customers seemed to have gone with the very sizable plates The plates came with your choice of meat ( Gyro, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, or a few more options), a side salad, hummus, and either fries or yellow rice. While I stood on the side of the line trying to figure out whether to go with the Shish Kebab or the Gyro plate the employees seemed to be getting impatient with me. I wasn't even holding up the line. When I finally approached the register the cook and female employee were both just staring at me like I was dumb and I felt rushed to order. I just said the Shish Kebab to get out of there which ended up coming out to $13 (without a drink)!! The only positive experience I enjoyed here was that the meat on the two Kebabs were tender, the Greek side salad was fresh, and the rice was decent. Although the food was good, it certainly wasn't worth $13 dollars and negative service. Hair in my food! Food is average, many other places nearby can offer the same quality. I'm pretty understanding about hair in food. Most of the time I just get a refund or an apology and get over it. MANAGEMENT HERE IS SO HURTFUL AND RUDE. The hair was found in my chicken schwarma plate (pictures included). Right away I let the cashier know of this and then took some pictures while I waited for management. The manager was very persistent on accusing me of not letting them know about the hair right away (trust me, I wouldn't be sitting around patiently with hair chilling out in my food). According to him, he has to 'protect his business' which..somehow justifies his rude attitude and taking his frustration out on me for the hair? He kept giving me attitude and excuses. My rating for this place is 4.5 (so rounding up to 5). The only recommendation I have for their management is to bake fresh pita breads if possible. I mean the name of the place can indicate that one can expect fresh pita bread here but they don't bake their pita bread here and just buy the ones that usually sells In the middle Easter stores. I really like Pita Grill. I'm not a huge fan of the rice but I still absolutely love the Chicken Kabab Plate ($10.30). The portions of rice (you can choose fries or rice), salad, two kababs, garlic dip and pita make the perfect lunch. I feel full without feeling over-stuffed. The chicken is well marinated and it's always juicy. I keep meaning to try the shrimp plate ($13.25) It looks so good! My co-workers and I come here for our lunch break occasionally. Absolutely loved my experience at Pita Grill. The chicken shawarma sandwich is my typical go to at Greek/Mediterranean places and this one did not disappoint. The difference here is that they actually put the sandwich on the grill after assembly, giving the sandwich the perfect crunch and texture. I also tried a few of the salads as everything on the line looks so fresh. My favorites were the Greek, Kale, and cucumber salads. We went at around 11:30 to beat the lunch crowd and thank goodness we did, the line was out the door when the big crowd hit at about 12:05, but the line moved very quickly. I've been here twice for lunch, however a bit after the luncheon rush. Each time I arrived it was somewhat busy and 75% of the tables were occupied. I've ordered the chicken shawarma plate both times, however the first time I ordered rice and fries whereas this last time I ordered two types of salad. The portions are big and I am never able to completely finish my plate. The chicken is tasty however it is a bit inconsistent in pieces as some are nice big slices of chicken whereas other bits are tiny and crunchy pieces that are dried from rotating. I really enjoyed the salads, I had the Mediterranean and one that had sliced tomatoes, bell pepper and onion. I love that they include the garlic mayonnaise dip and one pita. However, with the amount of meat they place on your plate you might need to pieces of bread. The staff is nice and helpful, my food came really quickly both times. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick Mediterranean bit, it seems pretty authentic and fresh! read more

Perhaps they weren't grilled. I thought the cauliflower were grilled (maybe they weren't...they had a dark color to them. Probably why I thought they were grilled). I had various vegetables. It was definitely the right restaurant. I have been there numerous times. Yes. Perhaps you've never had a complaint about a customer finding a wire in the food but there's always a first time. The photo was a close up to actually see the wire with the dime for scale. It wasn't a very thick metal wire but noticeable enough when I was chewing my food and felt it in my mouth. Just Yelping it and letting you know of my experience. I've eaten there many times. Yes. This was the first time for me to have a metal wire in my food. I won't be discussing it further.
